Dr. Deyan is such a wonderful doctor. He became my doctor after I became pregnant this past year with my first child. From the beginning, Dr. Deyan treated me with top notch care and really gave me patient choice with my options. He did not tell me what I had to do throughout the pregnancy but instead respected me as a patient and worked with my goals, desires, and life situation. Even though I had a rough pregnancy (threw up the entire time, fainting spells, and more), the doctor kept me educated throughout the pregnancy, kept my mind at ease, and did everything he could to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. His team of nurses and front desk staff are wonderful as well--which is very hard to find these days. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone considering using him as a doctor.

Dr Deyan delivered my daughter, my first born!! My Dr wasnt in at all when I went into labor, which is fine, I know these guys are busy busy! But Dr Deyan came in, told me I was crowning and to hold for 10 mins, came back in 10 minutes and massaged down there with oils over and over until my 9 lb 3 ounce daughter just slid right out! I had one tear, ONE! A tiny tear higher up, but this man saved me down there! And he had such an optimistic, calming demeanor that is SO appreciated during labor! He was an angel! I would definitely recommend, thank you Dr Deyan!!!

Unprofessional and inappropriate. This doctor has the worst bedside manner. Aside from being straight to the point with no consideration for my questions and concerns about symptoms, he lectured and belittled me for missing a blood screening. He scolded me and then dismissed me. His reason for doing so was that it was important - something so important should entail specific instructions and thorough follow-up with the patient. After switching doctors, I had a much better prenatal experience. I felt much more taken care of and informed about my pregnancy with my new doctor. Seeing Dr. Deyan for only 2 months still resulted in exorbitant fees. Do yourself a favor and do not see this man.

Ive heard horror OBGYN stories and never thought it would happen to me. Dr. Deyan has been nothing but rude to my husband and I. When I was 8 weeks pregnant I went in for a first appointment and he refused to do an ultrasound and yet insisted to do a pap smear on me. I trusted him as he is the professional. When I went to another OBGYN to explain my experience with Dr. Deyan, I was told that a pap smear is not something thats normally done on your first pregnancy visit :( I do not trust this man and will never be going back to his office again.I ended up switching to another Dr who has been nothing but nice, compassionate and understanding. Dr. Deyan, if you do not enjoy working with pregnant women and are more interested in what a patients insurance covers, then you are in the wrong field of work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, PATIENCE, OR NERVES ON THIS DR!

I have been a patient with Dr Deyan for over 20 years. He was originally recommended to me by other doctors. Over the years, he has proven to be the most competent and caring doctor i have used. I constantly recommend him to friends who are equally impressed by is skill and bedside manner. The office staff is also very nice.

I read some of these reviews and wonder are they talking about the same Dr. Dr Deyan delivered both my boys, has done several other procedures that saved my life, always easy to get an appointment, his staff is amazing and kind and unlike some of the people reviewing him I appreciate a doctor who doesnt sugar coat a diagnosis especially when it comes to my health. If you are looking for an amazing ob gyn and can hamdle the truth about your health and most of all is compassionate and beyond knowledgeable in his field than Dr Deyan is the best Dr for you. I have referred several friends to him, he has delievered their babies and they are all extrememly happy with his care. If you have a problem because your health insurance doesnt cover your needs than take it up with you elected officials and not with the doctors that do amazing things every day for all women.

Dr. Deyan is very caring and personal. He has been there for me during a very difficult transition in life. He was there for me all the way and still is. His office staff is amazingly awesome, whenever i call they are always nice and understanding. I would recommend Dr. Deyan to all my friends and family.

Dr Deyan is extremely rude! I would not recommend him. He gave my husband and I a lecture as to why we went to another doctor first before seeing him. We were there to see if our baby was growing and if it was a viable pregnancy. He was not compassionate at all. They wanted to charge us for an ultasound$250 said our insurance didnt cover it. Completely rude and made a difficult time worse.

Dr Deyan is amazing! He was always available throughout my pregnancy. Not only is he reliable but he is very professional and friendly.

Dr. Deyan is very unprofessional. Do NOT go to him. He made inappropriate “jokes” the first few times I met him. He also wasn’t thorough, doesn’t explain things well and he told me to follow him, led me to the front desk and didn’t ask me if I had any questions where I then had to ask my personal and private questions to him in front of the people waiting in the lobby. It was embarrassing and It was SO unprofessional. As being a second time mother, transferring to him was the biggest mistake I made. He is a pompous, rude man who should not be taking care of women.

Excellent doctor with expertise, great bed-side manner and sense of humor. This is my 1st pregnancy and I (nervously) left my other OBGYN Brook Hargrove, because I could never get a call back or questions answered. Dr. Deyan immediately put us at ease. And - over Christmas break I had a cold and was worried and did not know if I could take anything. I left a voicemail and he called me back WITHIN AN HOUR, apologizing for not calling sooner, because he was in a c-section. Love him and all the office staff.

I disagree with just about everyone on here. Ive been a patient of Dr. Deyans for over 4 years now. He is very caring and personal. I lost my first daughter. She was a still born. Dr. Deyan was there for me all the way. And still is. As long as he is practicing he will deliver all my children and be my pcp. Regarding the allowable for insurance. If you have medi-cal its very true. Im a medical assistant and deal with insurance all day. And he doesnt push c-sections. Ive had two normal births and he never mentioned c-section to me. He does wants best for the child and mother. I recommend Dr. Deyan to all my friends and family. They have no complaints either. The staff is awesome as well.

Dr Deyan is super busy, so I am really appreciative they squeezed me in for a current problem appointment. There is still a wait, but its well worth it. I am past child-bearing age, so I feel Im a bit boring, but Dr. is always very pleasant with me.

Dr Deyan is amazing!I was looking for a male OBGYN when we moved to CA and I was referred to Dr. Wheeler. When I called to make an appointment, Dr. Wheeler had retired and Dr Deyan had taken over the practice. I believe Dr Deyan moved from an office near Fashion Island. I had my first annual in October 12 and was pregnant with my first beginning of the following year. I was looking for a male OBGYN that was caring, straight forward, and was there to support my choices. I wanted a doctor I was comfortable going threw this journey with. Dr Deyan is all of that and more!I just re-watched the video of my son being born via c-section by Dr Deyan. He did an amazing job! We didnt find out the gender of our baby until Dr. Deyan delivered him. It was a very special moment. Dr. Deyan made it really special for my husband and I. And it absolutely melts my heart when he wishes my son Happy Birthday after he was born. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!His staff is very friendly and helpful. When your staff has been with you for many years it speaks volumes on who you are as a doctor.I feel very fortunate that I was able to find Dr. Deyan by accident and that hes my OBGYN. Ive been going to Dr.Deyan for more that 2 years. He is one of the best Doctors I know. Im a medical assistant and have very high standards to what my doctors should do and how they are suppose treat me. Dr.Deyan is very perfessional, and caring Doctor. I would recommed him to anyone and everyone.

I would NEVER EVER recommend Dr. Deyan to anyone. Not my worse enemy.His bedside manner can be described as direct and to the point but really its just rude. He has never spent more than 5 minutes (usually less) with me. No eye contact. I went to him for 2nd pregnancy. He NEVER asked me any questions about my first pregnancy or delivery, my health, concerns.His office staff never requested my records from my old OBGYN for 6 weeks (when I had signed the release our first appt) and he told ME it was MY FAULT that he didnt have my records. I finally went to my old OB and got them MYSELF.He doesnt knock before he opens the door, and he actually HIT ME with the door when I was trying to get undressed for an exam. NO APOLOGY. Classy guy.I would NEVER go to him. He has ZERO bedside manner and is in general rude, disconnected and NOT concerned for his patients.

Highly recommend him he is excellent and all the staffs are awesome.

Disrespectful and blatantly rude front desk coordinator. Horrible phone etiquette.
