Third time is the charm! We interviewed several orthodontists and once we we sent to Park Avenue Orthodontics by a friend, I knew the search was over.We were (and are still are) impressed with Dr. Stoess-Allen because of both her treatment methods. She uses the least “intervention”!of the orthodontists we met with. And, we appreciate her professional and warm demeanor.Our children both have been treated well by all of the staff. They are happy and so are we. Their treatments have been essentially painless, and (without metal bands around their molars) they can keep their teeth cleaner throughout their orthodontics.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Stoess-Allen for the last few years. We love her forward thinking approach to orthodontics. She, along with her whole staff are very sweet, caring and knowledgable. They are punctual while giving every patient their complete attention. My child started with an ALF expander and braces just a few months ago, and we already see a noticeable improvement. We are very happy with our experience and recommend her to all.

My past 3 years at a patient of Dr. Stoess- Allen have been nothing short of wonderful. She is the most comprehensive orthodontist I have ever met— I fly from LA to NYC to see her! Not only is she making my teeth look better and more aligned than they have ever looked in my life (after YEARS of other orthodontists’ work), she is fixing my bite so that my TMJ will no longer run my life. She is an expert in realigning one’s jaw by readjusting the bite. I am not yet finished with my treatment plan— mostly because I take my sweet time with wearing my aligners— but I have more confidence when I smile now AND the pressure that has already been taken off of my jaw is life changing. She is patient, thorough, loving, she listens (which in my experience is less common than it should be) and is simply the best in her field! Five stars in every way.

Park Ave Ortho has been wonderful to work with. The other orthodontists told me I would need 2+ years of traditional metal bracket braces with jaw surgery to fix my bite issue. The Park Avenue team quickly quelled my fears by showing me similar cases and the improvements they were able to make using only Invisalign treatment. My two children had their orthodontic treatment here and I am so happy. The while team are amazing, very knowledgeable, thoughtful and really listen to the needs of the patient. My daughter has hyper-sensitivity issues and the team were able to keep her comfortable not so easy with braces.

I’ve been coming here since October of 2018 and the staff is not only super knowledgeable about their services, they also make me feel incredibly comfortable (which is important to me, given that I’ve had bad experiences with dentists in the past). I’m doing Invisalign with them for headaches to stop me from grinding my teeth and I’m getting great results so far — I’m likely about 2/3 of the way through and I no longer wake up with headaches (I usually grind my teeth at night), and my teeth are also looking straighter. I definitely recommend them, especially if you’re looking into orthodontic services for reasons beyond cosmetic, like to deal with chronic pain.

Park Avenue Orthodontics are artists! They take their craft very seriously. Both my children 11 yrs and 8 yrs had extreme over bite issues, a narrow palate and seriously messed up teeth. LOL! With the ALF appliance and braces their faces have blossomed to perfection and now have gorgeous smiles that seriously could be in toothpaste commercials! My case was pretty complex and I was actually referred to Dr Janet by another professional who didn’t feel comfortable handling my treatment and felt like I needed a true expert on invisalign. I was born with an underbite and for most of my life was told that I needed surgery to fix it, which I refused to do. So I’d pretty much given up hope and came to accept that I would have to just live with my bite problem. Until one night I was browsing around and came across Dr. Janet’s practice. Fast forward just under a year into my Invisalign treatment, my underbite is fixed and my teeth are almost perfectly straight (still in the process of some fine tuning). Dr. Janet’s work has been extraordinary to say the least and has tremendously improved my life. Her staff and assistants are also super friendly, helpful, professional, and make me feel at home. I am so thankful for them. Looking forward to finishing the rest of my treatment and seeing the final result.
