Dr. Dolman is unlike any other doctor I’ve encountered (especially in NYC!) He takes his time with his patients, fully explaining the procedure/what to expect (he even draws out helpful diagrams), and most of all, you never feel he’s in a rush, and he genuinely seems to care. He gives out his cell phone and is extremely responsive through texts (even on evenings and weekends). The extractions themselves were really as pleasant as they could’ve been. I felt completely relaxed, and felt no pain during and after the procedure. The office is super clean and pretty. Could not recommend Dr. Dolman enough!

In the time it took for other offices to respond to my initial inquiry, Abigail called me and set up an appointment for the next day, which is a rare experience in NYC.I had an impacted wisdom tooth that was overdue for removal and the process went as smoothly as I could have hoped. I had been traumatized by previous wisdom tooth extractions that were painful and drawn out and was nervous to undergo the procedure again. I opted for intravenous sedation and the surgery was painless and felt like it passed by in a matter of a few minutes. Dr. Dolman was available before and after the procedure to answer any questions and to ensure that all prescriptions were filled. The surgery site has since healed with no complications.I really appreciate the care and attention to detail I received from Dr. Dolman and the patient care coordinators. When I first came across their reviews I was slightly suspicious because I have never seen a 5 star doctors office listed. As it turns out, they do exist! Dr. Dolman and his team balance effort and efficiency in their work and it definitely shows. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Dolman. He was very caring, explaining all steps before the removal of my wisdom tooth and following up with me during the following weeks. The tooth extraction per se went very well with no complications and very minor pain. He was always available for any question, even off-hours! I’ve had my wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Dolman lately and had two more extracted 4 years ago. I was taken very good care and had great experiences for both visits!! My teeth were impacted and I was told by other doctor it’s not gonna an easy recovery for me. But Dr Dolman eased my concerns and my recovery was speedy and almost pain free. Dr Dolman is very caring and quick to address my questions and worries.

I had a great experience having 2 lower wisdom teeth removed. Scheduling an appointment was quick (Dr Dolman actually took my call on the 2nd ring) and the initial consult was great in that Dr Dolman went over everything very clearly and made sure I understood what he was talking about. Seeing your xray on the big screen while he reviews your case is great and reassuring. The actual extraction was straightforward but the follow up was amazing. Several texts from Dr Dolman telling me what to expect and do over the following 2 weeks made me much less concerned about developing any problems.I do not normally write google reviews but out of the blue the office contacted me today to tell me my insurance overpaid them and I was owed a considerable amount of money. Honestly, I didnt feel like I overpaid at all and I would never have discovered this on my own.Highly recommend!

First off I want to start off by saying, if I could give this office any more stars I would! They totally exceeded my expectations in every way. Dr. Brecher was exceptional, both he and his assistant were very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and caring throughout my entire visit! I left feeling like I received the absolute highest quality of care. I would highly recommend them over and over again!The entire staff was kind and ready to help, the office is beautiful and clean, with up to date equipment, the atmosphere and staff combined really put me at ease for my extractions. Dr. Dolman extracted 5 teeth including 2 that were severely impacted, and at every step, he and his staff were professional and talented.I was seen almost immediately after contacting Dr. Dolman, and the surgery was scheduled in a similarly rapid manner.I chose to stay awake for the procedure. On the day of the surgery I took an anti-anxiety pill (lorazepam - prescribed by Dr. Dolman and ready to be picked up at my local pharmacy). After arriving I was given laughing gas, and shortly after that, my gums were injected by needle with a numbing agent.Being so relaxed the needle didnt hurt or bother me. It was just a slight pinch.The surgery itself was also painless and short. My impacted wisdom teeth could not have been simple to remove, they were in the bone and also near a nerve.But I only ever felt slight pressure, never any pain.And the recovery was incredibly easy. 6 or 7 hours after the morning surgery I felt fine, not perfect, but if it had been required I couldve worked that same night.The staff are also great. It feels personal. I saw no other patient during either of my visits.Highly recommended.

I removed all my 4 IMPACTED wisdom teeth with Dr. Dolman and let me tell you...it was the smoothest (and only) surgery Ive ever done! Not many people can say they had a positive experience removing their wisdom teeth - Dr. dolman is the best--- update after one month:Ive never known any other doctor who is more responsible than Dr. Dolman. I did my surgery on Friday and it started to bleed on Sunday, I texted Dr. Dolman on Sunday and he responded immediately and told me what to do. I kinda feel bad for taking up his time on weekend to ask him those questions. He is so patient, so caring, and he asked me to go back on Monday morning to give me another quick surgery. At first I assume that would be an emergency surgery since i didnt have an appointment and waited for weeks, it could cost so much. However, Dr. Dolman didnt charge me anything! He was so busy, I think he had a lot of appointments on that day too but he spared time to help me fix my bleeding problem. I appreciate his help so so much, and he also texted to check my situation multiple times after the second surgery. Dr. Dolman simply saved my life. I was having a rare complication (delayed infection) after removing my wisdom tooth by my general dentist. My dentist ignored my pain and swollenness and told me to just wait it out. I decided to get a second opinion. During the consultation, Dr. Dolman was able to tell exactly what needs to be done and I trusted him 100%. The procedure was quick and the recovery was almost painless. I was worried and probably asked a million questions throughout the process and he was able to reply all of them within minutes (texts and emails). I simply cannot thank him enough. He was fantastic during my initial consultation when he explained the wisdom teeth extraction procedure, as well as during the surgery itself which only took 45 minutes for four teeth. I had minimal swelling and pain due to the expertise that both he and his assistant have. On that note, every employee was incredibly respectful and kind, which enhanced the experience even more.Where Dr. Dolman really goes above and beyond expectations is after you leave the surgery room. He takes the time to respond to your texts throughout the day and even frequently checks up on you if he hasn’t heard from you in a day or two. He also invites patients to a quick follow-up session 1-2 weeks post-op in order to ensure that the healing process is going well and that all your remaining questions are answered.I have no doubt when I say that Dr. Dolman is the best doctor I have ever visited. HONESTLY AMAZING! Ive had some tooth problems since I was a teen due to financial problems and some horrible experiences with public assistance dentists/doctors that left me with a huge fear of getting any work done. During this pandemic- now as an adult with my own business- a tooth abscess I ignored for 4+ years decided to flare up. Why wouldnt it flare up in the middle of a pandemic right? I reached out to an oral surgeon and had an appointment coming up on the 28th of this month, but the pain got worse and it decided to swell up and turn red, causing headaches, ear pain and anxiety. I couldnt even get in contact with the other surgeon to ask if I should go to the hospital as things got progressively worse. Finally feeling like I couldnt take it anymore I made a virtual doctor appointment and got prescribed an antibiotic and was given the advice to find a different surgeon since it was clearly an emergency. A few google results later and I came across this place. Reading over reviews I decided this was the place to go, they even have 5 stars on yelp which is practically unheard of! I emailed them describing my situation and Dr. Brecher got back to me that very same day, not only that, he even called me that very same night and instructed me that the antibiotics were a good call, he discussed my situation with me, and determined that this was definitely an emergency I should come in for and even left me with his cell phone number. That was on 5/12. On 5/14, I went in for a 10am appointment with him and expected to just have a consultation I would no doubt have to pay for. When I got there, they did some X-rays, using an amazing X-ray machine that even played some calming music and after going over them completely with me not only did he surprise me by offering to take out the dead root that very same day, he took out another 2 teeth which were definitely emergencies as well all at once! (I have some pretty bad teeth I was ignoring.) He walked me through every single step and before starting anything gave me a very clear view of what would need to be done, why, my options, and any complications which could potentially arise and even my options for each scenario. He also went over prices and options with that as I pay out of pocket and made sure I understood everything to make the best choices for myself! This was my first work without any laughing gas (due to the pandemic) and I was extremely nervous going in, my experience with him was painless (besides a slight pinch from the shots) and very quick! After that- I now feel I can take care of my other teeth problems in the future and will definitely be going back to him. Relief literally flooded my body during the operation as he removed the dead root. I could not be more thankful for the service and professionalism he provided. From the minute you talk with him you can tell he cares not only about providing the highest level of care, but also that you yourself are comfortable and mentally sound. The office has state of the art equipment and a very calm and professional vibe. It definitely makes you feel at ease being there. Not only that, theyre exceptionally clean and you can tell with the pandemic going on theyve taken extra precautions to make sure everyone remains safe and healthy. 10/10 would recommend this place! As for after? He explained everything and made sure I had no questions left before leaving. They provided me a bag of goodies needed to care for my extraction sites after which even included a little beeswax lip balm! Wow! Its the little things that make such a big difference haha! I had a question for him last night and texted expecting a reply sometime today or tomorrow but he answered within minutes! Day 2 after removal and I feel great, no pain, no stress, and actually looking forward to continuing work on my dental health. I am so grateful for everything! Went to Dolman Oral Surgery to get my last two wisdom teeth out. Dr. Brecher (AKA Dr. B) did an incredible job. The procedure was quick and painless. I was expecting to be out of commission for the next few days .. my original experience getting my wisdom teeth pulled (By a different Dr. and office) was a nightmare, I was in excruciating pain for a week after my surgery. Not this time! The next day I felt completely fine (Just a little sore). I was shocked - I had no idea what a pleasure it would be having the procedure done by competent and professional Doctor. Ive never left a review before on anything, but felt compelled to do so now. Thats how happy I am with Dr. Brecher. Its tough to find a competent Dentist/Oral Surgeon that you can trust and when you finally come across one its an incredible experience. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Im writing this while still recovering from my recent wisdom teeth removal and do so enthusiastically, just like the referrals from my primary dentist, which made me decide to go to him. From the start of the process, the e-mail communication was stellar and pleasant, however I was truly blown away when I met Dr. Dolman the first time. I mean, hes a charismatic conversationalist, who immediately put me at ease and explained the options during our consultation. Once I decided on the procedures, the touch points in between the initial meeting and the surgery were frequent and informative -- i had everything i needed to feel comfortable going in. I felt like there was no space left for my expectations to be blown away--BUT NO, the procedure itself was truly gold star, best practices, he should be studied, thats how good it was. It was quick, painless, and comfortable all the way. The after care that he outlined has gotten me thru this recovery in great spirits and his availability to text and answer any questions I still had, and him checking in on me, just really has me appreciative for him and the work that he does. Amazing experience at Doctor Dolmans clinic. He was so kind and professional from the beginning to the end. I had a difficult surgery, wisdom tooth removal but my jaw was unable to open. I still dont know how Dr Dolman managed to remove it without me feeling anything. The following days after the surgery the doctor was continuesly checking on me by text and email, through Christmas. Dr Brecher and Dolman Oral Surgery we’re phenomenal. My daughter needed her lower wisdom teeth extracted. She is super particular. We had consultations at two other oral surgeons—she refused to have them pulled by these doctors. We had heard great things about Dr Brecher and Dolman and from the minute we entered the office she was put at ease. Dr Brecher explained everything to her. After the extraction Dr Brecher stayed with her and answered any questions. The staff was so attentive and friendly. It didn’t end with the surgery. Dr. Brecher is the best oral surgeon that I haver ever met. August 2020, A different oral surgeon did the surgery on my broken jaw. he wired my mouth shut for 6 weeks, but didnt fix my broken jaw, I couldnt open my mouth wide , I had pain and I was on liquid diet. January 2021, I went to see Dr. Brecher. He showed me the 3D pictures of my broken jaw, and explained to me in detail how he would fix the problem. He did the surgery in Feb by using plates and screws to hold my broken jawbone together. 4 days after surgery, I was able to eat some soft food like fish, rice, noodles. 2 weeks later, I was able to eat steaks. In addiction to prescription, Dr. Brecher also spoke to my physical therapist directly on my case. Dr. Brecher is a very very professional, responsible, caring, kind doctor. Dr. Dolman is skilled, attentive, and accessible. He helped me coordinate a visit to his office for a tooth extraction during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. We had numerous phone and text conversations to determine a time when I would be comfortable and safe coming in for the extraction. Its never a delight to have a tooth pulled but Dr. Dolman made it as good an experience as it could be. His office is sparkling and his staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend highly.

Where do I even begin? I hardly leave reviews but I was extremely compelled to write this one even as I am currently recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. If you need to have your dental procedures done, Doctor Dolman is your man.I’ve had my other wisdom tooth pulled out previously by another dentist which was fine, but Doctor Dolman blew my previous experience out of the water. From his impeccable bedside manner, to his pure surgical skill and expertise, I didn’t feel any pain at all.I had barely finished listening to my second song when he let me know he was finished and I was in so much disbelief that I asked, “You’re done?” to which he just smiled and said yes. It was so quick and painless. His assistant Mio was also fantastic as she was very calming and reassuring. When you’re done they even prepare a bag full of aftercare goods for you that includes ice packs, Tylenol etc.In case the above is not enough to convince you, Doctor Dolman also provides his personal cellphone number for you to reach out to him, which I have done before and after my surgery and he has been nothing but a saint, responding very quickly and promptly. He even texted me hours after my surgery to make sure I was okay.I would highly recommend Doctor Dolman and his team to whoever is looking for an oral surgeon.

Doctor Dolman is the best. I had all four wisdom teeth removed, and two days later you would never have known. Amazing Staff/ great service and care. The dentist is never a pleasant place (at least for me) and this experience was so much easier due to the professionalism of everyone there.

I came to Dr Dolman after seeing another oral surgeon who told me that I had to get all of my wisdom teeth extracted with little explanation. In complete contrast, Dr Dolman spent a whopping 40 minutes with me for an initial consultation, explaining everything about why he recommended I only get two removed and everything that I should be prepared for. I left the consultation with complete and absolute trust in Dr Dolmans expertise. Within an hour of leaving his office, the lovely Patient Care Coordinator Velissa sent me a breakdown of the estimated cost for me to consider - which ended up being much lower than I expected even though my insurance was out-of-network.On the day of my surgery, my boyfriend was given a private room to work in while I was having my wisdom teeth extracted. I opted for IV sedation and I couldnt have been happier with my experience. I felt comfortable and in good hands from the very beginning, and all of his staff are so wonderful and kind.Dr Dolman insisted that my boyfriend texted him at his personal phone number when we got home. He then texted again later in the evening to check up on me and make sure all was okay, and every couple of days after too.I could not recommend Dr Dolman and his staff enough. It is so evident that he cares so much about the comfort of his patients and that he takes very good care of them. Thank you Dr Dolman for such a great experience!

I went to two different oral surgeons for consultations for removal of impacted wisdom teeth before I finally found Dr. Dolman. Honestly, i was losing hope & trust in oral surgeons because one did not even explain anything very clearly and their front desk person was quite disorganized and the second one made me do an expensive x-ray even before they gave me a quote. I understand you cant really quote a surgery before looking at whats going on, but it just was VERY expensive. Plus that other oral surgeon didnt even explain what was really going on and only proceeded to give me worst case scenarios where i might need additional procedures. Dr. Dolman gave me that consultation xray for free. Plus, after looking at the xray, he explained everything to me VERY clearly and made himself available for questions. Then his front desk IMMEDIATELY sent me a price quote after my consultation appointment which was the lowest ive ever gotten with a kind message on the quote saying that they do payment plans and work with services because they care about their patients. It was all very thorough and super pleasant. Before the procedure, Dr. D sent me a thorough email with prep and the procedure itself was so smooth. During the recovery, he checked in on me and made himself available by giving me his direct mobile number to text message. I am so so so so thankful to him and will be seeking his expertise for my whole family and recommend him highly to EVERYONE. it is really rare to find an honest, kind, AND capable oral surgeon in NYC as it is an expensive city full of very non-transparent people.

Im not typically a writer of reviews, but this one is very well-deserved. A couple years ago, I found myself in a position where I needed SIX teeth (four wisdom teeth and two molars) removed. This tapped into some of my deepest phobias. So naturally, I ignored the issue for longer than was healthy. When I truly couldnt put it off for a moment longer, I went to Dr. Dolman. He was never judgmental. He talked through every one of my concerns in a way that was clear but not condescending. His staff was so kind and accommodating it nearly made this jaded New Yorker suspicious. And when the whole ordeal was done, I can tell you that after two smooth surgeries, I experienced very minimal swelling and barely any pain or discomfort. Before I went to him, I read the slew of good reviews and thought there must be some catch. But now, here I am writing one. Do yourself a favor and go to Dolman Oral Surgery. Youll be glad you did.

Outstanding care! I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed. I saw the reviews for this office and decided to give it a try. All the reviews were spot on! Dr. Dolman was extremely responsive, very kind (even after I asked him tons of questions) and made this experience quite easy. It was wayyy smoother than I expected. The actual extractions were very quick and used local anesthesia. Afterwards I didn’t have any pain that couldn’t be soothed with ibuprofen. Surprisingly I had no swelling whatsoever at any point, and the sites healed exactly as Dr. Dolman described. He gave me very detailed instructions that were so helpful, and a care package with everything I needed. Best of all he checked in with me multiple times via text after the procedures to ensure I was ok. Also, the office is super clean, organized and they follow strict protocols with special filters to protect their patients from possible COVID-19; it was clear they cared. Overall, wonderful experience and highly recommend. Go here...seriously, you will be very happy!

This is the best dentist Ive ever met. My friend recommended me here. I removed 4 wisdom teeth at once and no bleeding after the surgical. Amazing job. I can chew and eat in Day 3. and start to work in Day 4 as usual. Dr. Dolman even keep checking his patients status to make sure everything is under control. Thank you Dr. Dolman for everything.

From start to finish the staff and doctor are so lovely thoughtful and intelligent. The office is not only clean, but welcoming with beautiful rooms and waiting area, fun music! The women at the front desk are happy and helpful. Never have to make repeat requests, it’s done correctly the first time around. The doctor doesn’t pressure you into unnecessary work. He takes his time explaining everything to you to make sure you know your options and then respects your feelings around it. I feel I was treated as a whole, not just another person in the chair. I was able to work with them on a payment plan which was also appreciated. It’s almost a shame I don’t need to return, but they helped me heal quickly! I don’t know how they aren’t more busy with this quality of care. Can’t say enough nice things about them! I should add, that dentistry makes me very anxious. I didn’t feel that stall while I was u see their care!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brecher and his team. I was in excruciating pain for several months and nothing was helping my TMJ and locked jaw, I had tried everything. Dr. Brecher performed an Arthrocentesis with IV sedation. He improved the quality of my life and I will forever be grateful to him for that.I had severe anxiety about the procedure and sedation. He spent all the time I needed to go over every single question I had. He was available to me any time of day, and would call me back within minutes. Ive never had such an attentive and compassionate doctor. He made me feel so comfortable and really listened to every concern I had.He tailored the IV sedation to meet my exact needs after taking an extensive medical history. I have had negative experiences in the past with sedation so I was really nervous. I couldnt be happier with how it went with Dr. Brecher. I had no side effects and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. He made the whole process a very positive experience for me.As a medical professional myself, I spend a lot of time researching my care providers and have high expectations for my care. I could sing the praises of Dr. Dolman all day long. I think he might actually just be an earth angel sent down to give us painless oral surgery. When I came in he was kind and comforting. He told me he had lots of time for me so I didn’t have to worry about being rushed. I was very nervous about the procedure but he explained everything very thoroughly. The procedure was quick. He gave me laughing gas and let me play music out of my personal headphones while funny animal videos played on the tv above. It was all a perfect distraction and before I knew it I was done. When I left he gave me a little gift bag full of things I would need for after, ice pack, swabs, detailed care instructions, even chapstick. He gave me his number and checked on me later that day and week to make sure I was doing well. Honestly he went above and beyond what I had expected. If I ever need another wisdom tooth removed I know who I’m going to.

Dr. Elie Brecher did an excellent job extracting my bottom 2 wisdom teeth. I am not the easiest patient at the dentist, but his work was clean, quick and efficient. He took time to explain what was happening, gave me options where possible and was extremely professional throughout the process. Beautiful office and great staff! The loveliest experience I’ve had with a dental professional to date. My extraction was fast and painless. The entire staff is efficient and friendly and personable. I have already recommended Dr D to two of my friends! No hesitations about sending someone here. Most of all, he really listens to what patients want. I felt strongly no general anesthesia for what was an easy removal and the other oral surgeon I went to first insisted on it. I’m so glad I trusted my gut and searched out Dr. D as an alternative!!

It is quite challenging to summarize my experience in few sentences when it comes to Dr. Dolman and his staff. He would never force any procedure upon you just for an extra dollar. For him customer services/satisfaction is what primary. Before any procedure he would sit down and walk you through the process, he would outline various options to choose from and won’t move forward unless you are 100% comfortable with it. There was an initial consultation during which he explained everything and laid out my options. I booked an appointment and in 2 weeks have it removed. On the day of the surgery, I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. The procedure was painless and Dr. Dolman was very patient with me from start to finish.

I got a 30 min explanation about my teeth status, recommended treatment, time-frame, cost, and had plenty of time to ask any question I had.On top of all, he is well-experienced, even during the treatment, always making sure I feel comfortable and dont suffer from any pain. Post treatment instructions were clear, detailed and on point. He also talked to me about what might happen during the procedure and how we would handle each of those scenarios. Dr. Dolman and his team are the best of the best. I was sent to him by a friend who only had the best things to say and I now too echo everything she said to me and more. Ive had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Dolman and had very little pain and very little swelling even with two impacted teeth and TMJ issues. The communication both by the doctor and his team prior to surgery is beyond flawless as is the follow-up care. I had gotten 3 other oral surgeon consultations before finally meeting with Dr Dolman, after a friend recommended him(she had also gotten a dental implant by him).He didnt push. He didnt rush. He kindly and patiently explained all my options, asked me to go see an endodontist to make sure that a tooth extraction and dental implant was the absolute last resort. Other oral surgeons asked me to book a surgery right that second.Ive been at this practice for almost 2 years now and I can say hands down, he is the most generous, kind, and helpful doctors I have ever known. Everyone at the practice is so kind, nice, and genuine. During the surgeries, Dr Dolman almost meditatively talks you through the typically unpleasant parts of any dental visit (novacain needle, etc etc), always cautious about pain and how youre feeling. I only wish my regular dentist could be Dr D!!! This review doesnt do enough to tell you how amazing this practice is.
