Dr Jeremy Cotliar is the best oftalmologist ever!He’s not only an excellent professional but his caring, polite, & friendly personality make you feel a real family doctor. My husband & I are very satisfied for having him as our family Ophthalmologist.

I couldnt open my eye and he knew exactly what to do, q to not only make it feel better but it started opening well before he finished the exam.Im very satisfied with his services, and his staff is also very professional.I will recommend him to anyone needing the services he can provide.

The staff is very young but very professional and have good knowledge of what their responsibilities are. As a whole, they are very polite and pleasant and work well as a team.

Dr Cotliar’s office are efficient, organized and kind. Over the summer as my sight deteriorated from cataracts I was terrified but the staff were reassuring and so organized as they guided me through the whole process of testing and scheduling my surgeries. At the beginning , I had no primary care doctor and the young woman scheduling my surgeries said “I’ll send you to my doctor, you’ll love her!” And I did! That was the greatest help. And they called and emailed me constantly to make sure I was ready and on schedule for every test and every surgery. Then there’s Dr Jeremy Cotliar. I love him. He’s the best. I wish he was my doctor for everything. He’s quick and on time, reassuring, kind and so so good at what he does! He said this is what’s happening and this is what I am going to do to fix it. All I had to do was trust him and he never gave me any reason to doubt him. On the nights before my surgeries he called me to make sure I was okay. So nice! And the surgery team itself was also kind & efficient- holding my hand as they prepped me for surgery. They also just went about their job which was reassuring. This what they did almost every day - clearly professionals! And Dr Jeremy was quick and so good - each surgery last at most 10 minutes. Incredible. Dr Cotliar and staff are essentially my favorite part of 2020.

Great doctors, and a nice new space

I like Dr. Cotliars professionalism, knowledge, and manners. His office staff is courteous and professional. I recommend him.

Dr. Cotliar is a great Ophthalmologist with an extremely friendly attitude that make you feel at ease. His nurse assistant was also very professional and super nice.My only complaint is the front desk. Upon arrival, she asked me if I had an appointment. Yes. What kind of insurance? Okay. Gave me a 10 pages form to fill out. Ugh! but fine. Then asked me for a $45 payment. Why? I have not even seen the doctor!!! I told her I would prefer to pay after I see the doctor. She informed me it was the office policies. What? No! That policy needs to be amended. I do not pay before seeing a doctor. She then said something in Spanish which made a few people behind a desk, look up and laugh. This is highly unprofessional and to be honest, extremely rude. I am human being who is not well and going to see a doctor who is going to help me get better. Treat me as such - a human being.

The doctor is very nice and his staff is very nice. I think he sincerely strives for good customer service as does the staff. However, no structure, unorganized office. If its not the phones it;s the internet not working or the computers/database are down. Also, if you are there to get surgery you find out last minute there are 3 clinics, one of them in Westchester. My preference is all under one roof and all information is given in detail and accurately from the beginning; no surprises. Also, long wait time for appointments. I would not recommend for seniors. Again, I really think his intentions are good and I really appreciate the customer service the staff provides. Washington Heights can have difficult people so the effort they make for customer service must be noted and valued. The set up for structure and organization are not for me nor do I recommend for seniors.

Professional and courteous staff- they make you feel right at home!!

Ive been a patient at this practice for three years. Dr. Cotliar is excellent and his staff is friendly and thorough. In the past, the wait time was very long, but at my most recent visit, it was right on time.

The employees and doctor are very fast, professionals.

I was not impressed with this clinic or with Dr. Cotlier. The front desk/admin made it very hard to be seen, and they did not seem to get or understand the referral my PCP (whose office I very much trust) sent over. Additionally, Dr. Cotlier did not make the correct assessment of my glasses prescription; I have since been to another doctor who, sure enough, upped it.

Bad service...long wait..even if you have an appointment. ....terrible selections...

Expect to wait over an hour to be seen. Doctors try to get you to come back to make more $$. Avoid!

As always, everyone was very kind, especially the technician who attended my mother (Ana Rosario) read her for Mommys new glasses and she was very pleased with his treatment and kindness, I want to give her 5 stars
