After cyberknife treatment elsewhere, at age 74, failed to get all my cancerous prostate cells, Dr. Taneja performed a focal cryo ablation (or something of that sort) in early 2018. At age 82, I asked him to favor not doing any damage, as opposed to making sure he got everything (if such a choice were available). It had taken some time to arrange the procedure, mostly due to delays in getting the latest, still experimental scan at a trial at NIH in Washington DC. The scan showed that the cancer had migrated into one of my seminal vesicles. Anyhow, the procedure left me with a PSA of 0.7, since risen to 2.2 in two years. So, he didnt get it all. But he did leave me with no, none, zero permanent bad side effects. Some difficulty controlling urination for several months but more Flomax plus Kegel exercise plus time got rid of that completely. Now, two and one half years after the procedure, Im approaching age 84 and looking forward to at least a few more years.Dr. Taneja is not the most genial, joking physician, of the many I have consulted. Hes perfectly polite, not at all arrogant or condescending, but a bit cool and removed. Who needs joking when he is so skilled? I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Tenaja, with Gds help, performed a partial nephrectomy after a renal mass was found. He removed the cancerous tumor, while preserving the balance of the kidney that wasnt effected. I currently have 1 and half healthy, functioning kidneys, cancer free for close to 15 years now thank Gd. Thank you Dr. For you vision, care and steady hand. Steve A.
