On a recent Issue in 2020 Dr Gottesman was professional as always and took the time to speak with me in Office and via Telephone regarding my fears &/or concerns with the Issue i was having ; i have been a patient of Dr Gottesman since 2016 ; and from my experience he is an excellent practitioner ; at each encounter he has treated me with a caring kind attitude & considerate manner ; always Professional & definitely versed in the knowledge of his trade; his Office staff are on top of things & know how to handle their business & indeed the actual follow up regarding appointments & visit summary i receive from his Office is appreciated ; Access to the office is easy via Subway E train to 53rd Street; there is separate men & women public bathroom in Hallway must use Code to enter ; it is Easy to Schedule an Appointment during Office Hours ; Dr Gottesman is one of my favorite medical practitioners to visit!

One of the finest ColoRectal surgeons in the country. Was Chief of the department at Roosevelt Hospital and head of the fellowship training program for decades. But, more importantly -- a great person -- genuinely interested in helping his patients and goes out of his way to be supportive. I wouldnt go to or recommend anyone else in the NY area.
