Great visit with Dr T, unfortunately, the communication at this office is horrible. During my visit, I gave specific instructions to send my lab work to Quest lab for processing. I then receive a bill from Lap Corp. I brought this bill to Mount Sinai and they said they would leave it for the biller ( Marylin). I’m going to start of by saying they will not take responsibility for their error. My main issue which I have expressed plenty of times to Marylin and was not even acknowledged). She proceeded to tell me what Lab Corp said about the bill ( again at this point Lab Corp is not at fault they received blood and processed it ) the issue is that it was sent there in the first place. Now I received a message stating that they can’t see what Dr T staff member ( sorry I was not aware that Dr T staff was exclusively for her not hired by mount Sinai) and that they don’t have an account with quest !!!! Ahe then doesn’t have the actually info of what lab Corp told her , she just states that the test were not preventative, sorry did you or did you not call to get information from lab Corp? So basically their lack of communication within themselves is an issue. Stay away if you don’t want hidden bills.

I do NOT recommend this office. Its very poorly run and very unorganized. My doctor, who is fantastic and lovely, LEFT the practice. I contacted the office to get my medical records so I could transfer them to her at her new practice. I filled out the form and checked the box indicating that I wanted them sent via PDF. The woman who handles this, Sandra, informed me that the form is incorrect and I can only get them via mail or fax. I did not want them mailed or faxed to me, so I did not respond. 10 days later, I got in the mail a flimsy envelope that was ripped at the top and had come open and contained my medical records that I DID NOT WANT MAILED TO ME. I did NOT authorize her to send my records via mail. Since the flimsy envelope was OPENED and torn at the top, goodness knows who saw the contents, or even if some of the contents fell out of the open envelope. This is a major violation of privacy. Its like they are not familiar with HIPAA laws. If you need an OB/GYN, DO NOT use this practice, unless you like problems, breached privacy, and stress. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I gave this office two attempts. The first time, the ordered/charged my insurance for a series of tests that were unnecessary and that I specifically did not consent to. The second time, I told the front desk that it was absolutely imperative that they do not send ANY mail to my address. I asked to pay for the copay immediately because I knew theyd forget my request. They said there was no copay, no matter how many times I asked them to confirm. A month later, they send the copay bill to my address despite my specific and urgent request to respect my privacy. The front desk people need to be retrained, generally. Their lack of professionalism in an office in Manhattan, no less a Mt Sinai affiliated office, is honestly astounding.

The service at this office is absolutely horrendous. Not only is there an incredible amount of attitude from the staff, it is impossible to get someone on the phone in the first place.

I waited over 1 hour to see Dr Gupta. Very nice person but not the MD for me. I am traumatized from a savage assault at Dr Andrew Fagelmans almost 5 years ago violence so it does affect me at MDs office but how ever nice Dr Gupta was and is I would like a full refund including for a medical test that is too primitive to measure the amount of tumors I have.If you need to call Mt Sinai West OBGYN expect to hold on the phone a long time unless you get lucky.I also felt NY Radiology was awful but in NYC it feels almost too hard and how can you find MDs that care with every single visit having to be approved by an HMO but I will recommend going else where although I dont know if you would fare better you may not have to wait an hour for an MD that I feel sent me for the wrong test.Dr Deepti Gupta is a really nice person but she is not the MD for me.I asked for an MRI and she insisted on a tran-v. NY Radiology said the Trans-v is the same as it was 3 years ago but Dr Kirpekar from NY Radiology admitted a trans-v isnt as sensitive as an MRI and with a trans-v you only measure 3 tumors and I have so many.I left a message for Dr Gupta to call me back and she didnt. Her assistant called me back after I held on the line for 10 minutes.I wont be going back to see Dr Gupta again. I also dont know what to do about finding another MD and getting an MRI if the health insurance will even allow that. Between Mt. Sinai and NY Radiology I feel like I was failed and no one is offering me a refund.Dr Kirpekar my opinion doesnt care -- she couldnt be bothered but I was lucky to get a call from her and she admitted because I have so many fibroid tumors I really needed an MRI and I asked can I get a refund. Dr Gupta from Mt. Sinai also my opinion a nice lady but she didnt care either and she insisted I get a trans-v which Dr Kirperkar admitted with all the tumors I have is pretty much a waste since the trans-v only looks at 3 tumors and she decided those 3 tumors stayed the same. I am 55 so if I was not suffering PTSD from a savage assault at Dr Andrew Fagelmans you can google it and see for yourself -- it happened Oct 1, 2012 than maybe the tumors would be dissipating?I think NYC may have some of the worst medical care in the USA -- very expensive and I pay close t $1,000 a month in health care and unless you are truly rich is like communist Russia with capitalist USA fees -- just outrageous. The woman who greeted my at the front desk of NY Radiology was an angel -- just very sweet and kind and the woman who took my co-pay nice but it felt like a nightmare from Mt. Sinai to NY Radiology and they are raking in the dough and I still dont have the proper care and knowledge and options because in my opinion they dont really care....

Spoke to a Brandi tried to make an appointment as an emergency an she was very rude and ghetto! Will never even want to go back there again! Time for mount Sinai to hire someone to replace her because she is a liability to her company.
