In response to the owner; YES! My husband was referred to have unnecessary test to another facility which he didnt need. And NO! Dr. Weinberger DID NOT, contact my husband for his blood results until he contacted him a week later, while the results were already in a few days later. If the doctor were caring for his patients,he would contact them immediately to address any issues of his/ her results. I had to tell my husband that his glucose and triglycerides were high. The doctor never mentioned it, and its clearly in the results. This place is an insurance scam.I wish I can rate zero stars to this medical facility.First and foremost, my husband had unnecessary blood work done by Dr. Jonathan Weinberger and he was not even contacted for his results until my husband called a week later.. Besides this, Dr. Jonathan Weinberger, failed to explain to my husband that his glucose and triglycerides were high. I had to look into the results and carefully narrow the issue. The doctor also wanted to refer my husband for unnecessary tests. This medical facility is a scam to charge your insurance. Be careful when viewing doctors on Zocdoc, this is where I found the doctor, who seems to have 5 stars.

These people are scam artists and they should be shut down for all of the shady billing practices they have. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Also, I love how it took them over a year to respond to my review. Its like trying to get someone from their Billing department on the phone!! Again, this is the worst place I have ever been to in Manhattan, period. DO NOT USE THIS PHYSICIANS GROUP.

OK - The waiting room is a bit tired - but once you get in, youre well taken care of. My doc was pleasant and did not seemed in any rush to conclude our talk. I had several examinations which were all provided by kind and seemingly knowledgeable technicians.This was my first NYC doc in 15 years that seemed more interested in helping me than getting referrals for me to see.A+

Got bunch of unnecessary tests without any prior explanations, wasn’t given any results, and charged couple hundred dollars after weeks. Complained to the doctor, and he said he would waive the fee. 6 months later, got this bill from collection agency. Explained the situation and the agency asked me to talk to the hospital directly. Contacted the hospital rep and sent relevant documents. Wanted to check back on the status and no reply for over 10 emails and 3 phone calls over 2 weeks. Still unsure what is going on. Very very bad experience and unprofessional both the doctor and his assistants. DO NOT RECOMMEND. YOU WILL BE RIPPED.

A nurse tried to draw blood from my arm and after digging around with the needle for nearly ten minutes, she said she couldnt get enough blood out. She seemed extremely annoyed and impatient, and I was starting to feel queasy from watching this, so I asked if I could skip the blood test because that wasnt the reason why I came in. She snapped at me saying if I didnt do the blood test, I would be billed for everything else and the test would allow my visit to be free (which was a lie because I received a bill for the blood test specifically and after calling and emailing, I never got a response from their office). I agreed to let her try my other arm. Just before she was going to, she let out another annoyed sigh, threw down the equipment, and left the room without saying a word. Eventually another friendlier nurse walked in and was able to get the job done.

The reception staff is TERRIBLE!!! Screw up appointments and aren’t the friendliest on the phone BUT I LOVE Dr Alcarez. Been going to her for years but unfortunately I have to deal with the incompetent reception staff and really long wait times see her. She’s the best doctor I’ve ever met.

This place is a sham for all the reasons other people described. Went there due to positive reviews from a physician and will never return.

The front desk is horrible especially Helen she is the rudest person to work at a medical facility, Im not too sure why will they keep her on, she has tic on her shoulder. She should not be answering the front desk phone, she needs to only interact with the staff there not the patients.

Have had bad experiences, but Dr. Weinberger has been more than fantastic!

My dr and the nurses were really good and thorough. However, the staff in the front are terrible, with bad attitude and no willingness to help.

The Doctors and nursing staff are very kind. All of them are interested in helping. Unfortunately, the wait times are ridiculous. Dont try to schedule anything during lunch break. I am, right now, as I write this, waiting for an EKG. Ive been waiting for 1hr and 15min in a small room without enough chairs for all the people waiting. I believe I will have to reschedule.

Long waits, overbooked doctors, rude front desk staff, good phlebotomist, doctors so-so. Not impressed with service or attitude

Absolute scam of an office, do not go here. I showed up for a physical after having had to change my primary care provider due to a change in insurance and was given a litany of tests, without them disclosing what the tests were or what they would cost. A routine physical has ended up costing me $250 with insurance! This is a fraud of a doctors office that is there to make money off of tests with no consideration of patient welfare.

Dr bakahru was wonder at first very caring and took her time it all went downhill on my follow up appointment I went in for a physical for work and they forgot to run a drug screen so when I went back that wensday they refused to sign my paperwork and made me take another drug screen while there I could here her in the back telling the doctor I saw well if she wants her bloodwork she needs to wait or tell her to come back they actually called me two days later and said you drug test was negative which I already new and to come in for my annual physical how am I suppose to trust this place if they didnt even bother to read the paper work I gave them I dont trust doctors at all from past experiences and she just made it worse

My doctor is amazing but the booking and wait times are horrendous. The average is about 1 hour and no one acknowledges your struggle. If there are more than 5 people sitting in the waiting area, make another appointment and just go home.

Awful customer experience and unprofessional stuff. Dr. was Okay, but the ancillary staff had terrible manners.
