I can’t overstate how grateful I am to have as my wrist surgery performed by Daniel. I consulted with a few other specialist before meeting with him and they both recommended a surgery that would give me limited mobility in my wrist. He was OK just removing some old hardware and seeing if that would help. Two years later 99% of my pain is gone I have almost full mobility and more strength than I ever expected. I have a carpenter who works with my hands every day the value in this cannot be overstated and I am truly overjoyed with the results. Thank you thank you thank you.

Needed treatment for a long time, after all my fellow medical professional friends kept pressuring me to not go into the city and staying local ...8 months of wasted treatment, and one misdiagnosing surgeon later I found my surgical soul mate. Within minutes you realize he is genuine, humble, caring, and not to mention exceptionally SMART and talented. As much of a wonderful and talented surgeon that he is, he is still willing to go the extra mile for his patients, not because he has to, but because he wants to, a real life angel. I was honestly ready to do surgery within 10 minutes of meeting him, and correctly diagnosing my issues after months of pain and frustration. Rachel his right hand wing woman, as I call her is equally as caring, knowledgable, and just as smart.The administrative staff including and certainly worth mentioning Geraldine and Paula are the most patient and helpful women, who go above and beyond to make sure they were assisting me in every step of my visit and surgical scheduling, a real asset to HSS.I wish I would’ve listened to my gut from the beginning and saw Dr. Osei sooner, but nonetheless I’m finally with the doctor who even for a medically particular person as myself, he is THE BEST. You can ask around, trust me, his colleagues inarguably agree. THANK YOU for everything Dr. Osei you are one talented and extraordinary individual, and I consider myself lucky that our medical paths crossed.

Dr. Osei was incredible. He was patient and kind. I asked a lot of questions and he was very willing to answer them all. His staff as well as him, made me feel welcome in his office. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a great experience.

Dr. Osei is an amazing surgeon. I was very pleased with his bedside manner. He expediting my surgery and showed genuine empathy for my circumstances. If you need hand surgery, he is a wise choice and I’d happily recommend him.

This is the first time that I write a review and especially a negative one. I was trying to book time to See Dr. Osei... but I won’t, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, the manager did not call back, if that is how it starts, I am not interested... such a shame, hope to remind them that New York city offers great doctors, we the patients cant be taking advantage of, especially when in pain.

I had gone for 2 surgical consultations in NY! I was very skeptical about surgery. Dr. Osei made me feel so comfortable and explained in detail about my surgery. Dr. Osei exceeded my expectations!! He is amazing with great bedside manner. His office staff is truly a reflection on him and they have been wonderful since the beginning.

Brief Review: Great bedside manner, did not experience any pain/swelling after surgery, spoke with me right before surgery and explained everything in detail, made sure all my questions were answered, hes really into the procedure and makes it a point to let you know that following discharge instructions is important and even goes out of the way to make sure you have minimal scarring.Detailed Review: I had a huge Ganglion Cyst on my right wrist that was aspirated and grew back 3x larger causing numbness whenever I flexed my hand. I chose Dr. Osei because he worked for HSS and had a lot of experience.. Both Dr. Osei and his staff made this the most easiest, quick and pain free surgical experience. The first day I met him, he evaluated me, ordered an MRI, blood work and x-rays all on the same day and scheduled my surgery for the following week. Not only was I nervous because I never had surgery, but I was also pressed for time because I started back school in less than a month... Fast Forward, his entire surgical team went over everything in detail (A LOT). I chose the option to be put to sleep, once I woke up, I did not experience any pain, they feed you, make sure you use the bathroom, keep you in the recovery area for about 2 hrs, then sends you home with a free pillow. Everyone from the assistants to the Nurses were extremely nice and caring. He prescribed me pain pills but I was shocked I didnt need to take them, Also the surgical site looked like a small cut, you wouldnt even notice it was cut open!! My arm was in a splint for about a week and it looks like Ill be able to start back school with no issues. Very excited with my results, this whole process took about two weeks!!! I will post a before (cyst shown), during healing, and after healing photos once Im completely healed for you to see for yourself!

Excellent surgeon.Dr Osei was sensitive in his recommendation to install hardware to fix a very unstable broken wrist. He was firm in his recommendation, but also seemed caring and almost sorry that that was the decision. I appreciated the sensitive approach. Hearing that youre going to be drugged up, cut open, and have screws and plates installed can be jarring.The entire process was quick (considering) and the HSS staff were courteous and professional. My results were fantastic (bionic arm with super strength) and recovery has been good.Surgery is unpleasant start to finish. Little can change that, but Dr Osei and the HSS staff made it the best they could and Im glad that they were my choice.

Dealing with the front office is a Kafka-esque nightmare.
