I went to my first Barry’s class today and loved it!! From the moment I walked in everyone who worked there was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. The class was fun and upbeat and great. I love how it pushes you to the limit, and then more. Great and fun workout ! Highly recommend:)

Great workout every time, they change it up and youre always sweating and hurting (in the best way) the next few days after. Facilities are pretty good, though they could do with some straighteners.

This is one of the original Barrys but it leaves a bit to be desired. The treadmills at the end of the room feel like theyre completely disconnected from the rest of the red room and there are only four tiny showers for a huge Barrys. On the plus side, theyre more forgiving here than at other Barrys if you show up a few minutes late.

I usually take classes in San Francisco, so while I was on vacation in NYC I wanted to keep up my routine. I normally LOVE Barrys and try to recruit anyone and everyone. I was a little disappointed with the class I took here. The facility itself was impressive - much larger than I expected, but the space between treadmill spots were really close, which made it hard to control speed on the treadmill. The floor was also quite close, so you couldnt do some of the exercises to its full extent. I also wanted more energy and engagement from the instructor. He wasnt bad, by any means. He was well organized and kept both floor and tread on task, but he wasnt as involved and upbeat as other instructors that Ive had who really motivate and push you to work as hard as you can. Still, the workout was good - I sweat my face off, so I was content.

Not the the weak. Barrys will kick your ass. Its one of the toughest work outs Ive been through. Its a little pricey but arent most work out studios? I find it to be worth the price. I leave drenched and feeling good about myself and the protein shakes at the end are routinely good, but again pricey. Bring your own water

Barry’s bootcamp is one of the most challenging and rewarding workouts I have ever been to. I was dripping with sweat by the end of the work out. You definitely need a towel and water for the work out. I had to book the class in advance, because the classes fill up fast! Some have spotted celebrities working out at the Chelsea location, so be prepared to work out next to really fit people. The actual session has you constantly moving between treadmill intervals and floor weight training. One of the most efficient workouts in the city!

First time to go and I like the experience. I just wished the trainer was more of a motivator and actually calling out if you’re slacking. Just would be nice if theres something like that. But overall I liked it and would go back.

The best work out in the world with the top trainers including Joey, Noah, Harley and Patrick (my personal favorites). Go for the work out, stay for the Fuel Bar which has delicious (and healthy) smoothies like the PB&J.

One of the toughest and most enjoyable workouts, period. Rotating HIIT intervals on the treadmill and floor add a variety that keeps it fresh and makes your body sweat, fast. Ive done most workouts in the city and keep coming back here. Classes run an hour (which flies) and run $34 per. You burn approx 1000 calories in that hour. Instructor styles casi, though all are supportive if youre not necessarily keeping their pace. Plus, theyre all ripped and clearly live what they teach.

I am obsessed with Barrys! This is an amazing full body workout. Every classes includes a heart racing combination of cardio on treadmills, fondly called treaders in class and floor work including, weights, resistance bands and lots of squats, push-ups and other exercises that tone your body. I literally leave every class feeling stronger and see immediate results. Definitely worth the high price of this gym!

I just left my first class at this location (have been to Barrys in NoHo) and it was chest, back and abs day with Matthew Griffin. Amazing workout, he has a great attitude and demonstrates all the moves clearly. The music was also fantastic and super motivating. Zero complaints as for the workout. Im not much of one for upper body strength so I did some push-ups on my knees and used the lightest (10lb) weights for even the heavy intervals so I feel like i cheated a little but Ill get stronger I suppose!The locker rooms and showers are pristine and the Malin+Goetz products are fantastic.

I love bootcamp classes and I have been going to different types of boot camp or fitness classes around the city. Barrys Bootcamp is definitely one of my top choices. It is fun, scary, intense and very effective all at the same time. If you want to slack off, this is not your place to be. The instructor pushes you hard and the peer will push you even harder.I dont think I got a free sec to relax, drink water or even wipe my sweat. My shirt was completely soaked afterwards and I normally dont sweat so much. My legs are still sore after going nuts on the treadmill 2 days ago and that hasnt happened for a long time since I go to boot camp regularly.The price is pretty typical for these workout classes in NYC. Just be prepared to sweat and sore a lot and fight for a spot in the classes! Make sure you sign up a week in advance!

I affectionately call it Barrys Barfcamp because the workout kills you everytime.. but it is so worth it! Mixed rounds of treadmill intervals and weights focusing on a specific body part. Special shout out to Matthew R and Harley who are the absolute best instructors.
