Dr. Raffinan is one of the best doctor I ever had. He is very easy to talk to and to talk with. He very detailed. He always answers your questions in a manner that you will understand. I can go on and on. He makes you feel so relaxed I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else.He just a great person

It was my first appointment with Doctor Raffinan. My appointment was at 1PM. A nurse was taking my vitals by 1:10. When she finished Dr. Raffinan came in shortly after. He asked me if I had any questions about his practice which no doctor had ever asked me. He then took a thorough medical history and asked me what I was concerned about; never rushing. He also explained things in language I understood.

Dr. Raffinan has been my primary care physician for many years. He has also been the PCP for my 4 children, now adults.He is thorough and empathetic. I never feel rushed and appreciate his holistic approach to health and medicine. The office staff are pleasant and efficient and appointments run on schedule with minimal wait time.

Dr. Raffinan was incredibly thorough with me and was extremely helpful with creating an action plan to improve my health. His bedside manner is one of genuine interest and concern in helping someone like me to improve my overall health. I really appreciated the fact that he was so invested in finding solutions, without treating me like “just another patient.” I would highly recommend him to anyone of my friends and family.

Dr. Raff has been my primary for about 6 yrs now & I’ll never quit him. I had a checkup with him today & per usual I have not one negative thing to say.From my repeated firsthand experiences, I can say with authority that Dr. Raff really listens & really cares about your total health. He’s just a really good & patient human being, which is a large part of what makes him a great doctor. His nursing staff radiate that same glow. This review is for the front desk staff only. From my initial interaction, seemed like either it was another money hungry place (or) the staff were incompetent.I called in confirm the appointment & copay and was met - bear with me, my system is slow. After 10 mins of being on line - I need your credit card over the phone and I cannot confirm your co pay (which is why I called). If you cannot confirm it, why would you ask my address details in the first place ?. Every place I have been to collects the patient information either online or on site where I fill it out. I immediately cancelled the appointment.

Dr. Raffinan has great bedside manner. Just please note hes a bit of a hippy like doctor. He for example might suggest prebiotic and blueberries if youre having digestion issues vs medication. Not necessarily a bad thing just important to note hes a bit more in the holistic type medicine side which for many is a plus

This is the best doctors office Ive been to! Warm and efficient reception, kind med assistants, and Dr. Raffinan is always consistently terrific. Ive recommended him to three friends so far, and they each say the same thing! Raffinan is thorough, personable and does not push medication. Be ready to take care of yourself!

Very quick and very easy . Didn’t take a long time like I have experienced at other doctors. Very efficient because of all the technology, was very happy about that made everything so much easier to register, see my test results and book appointments. Met with NP Alina Alayev, she was great, very pleasant and helped me make sure I got the correct medicine. It’s a great office and everyone is really nice.

My experience with Dr Raffinan is that he takes time to seriously listen to what a patient has to say (re symptoms or history). he also involves you in decisions regarding tests and treatments. it’s a relief to find a doctor who’s genuinely interested in and engaged with patients - you always feel like you’re being given full individual attention.

First time I’ve actually liked my doctor and office setting (I’m 50). Pleasant and professional. I like the emphasis on lifestyle modifications over quickly prescribing more meds for general issues like blood pressure management.

Dr Michael has been my pcp for over 5 years now and he has been extremely great! Would recommend him to anyone. He is extremely patient and gives the right advice. He has a holistic approach and tries to get you in the right frame of mind like focusing on diet exercise etc than live on pills!

Everyone in the office is very nice and accommodating. I usually see Danielle, one of the nurse practitioners who is fantastic, but I’ve talked to Dr Raffinan in the office and halls a couple of times and he’s a really nice guy.

My wife and I have been going to Dr R for about 10 years and it has been a great experience. We have since moved away but appreciate the care so much we commute back for our doctor visits. On every visit Dr R takes the time to listen and is truly engaged in the care and conversation. And amazingly he/his team are VERY responsive when you message him through the patient portal. Went to see Dr Raffinan for the first time today, for a general physical. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a doctor. I’m used to doctors conducting a two min exam and rushing you out of their office. Dr Raffinan sat with me for about 30 mins and helped formulate a plan to optimize my health. Didn’t feel rushed in any way. He thoroughly answered all my questions. He has a great, calming energy. I look forward to meeting with him again.

I dont do a lot of reviews but I had to make a point to take some time out of my day to write this one. The doctor, nurses, and admin staff at this business are on point, efficient, and always handle my prescription refills immediately. I have had numerous communication issues and had to call several providers in the past to get prescriptions refilled. This was always a stressful situation for me but not with this business. I have had several experiences here and they have all been great. Not only did the doctor take the time to listen to me during the appointment but the administrative staff and receptionist and the most efficient I have experience in NYC.Highly recommended.

I wish I found Dr. Raffinan a million years ago. But I found him now. I have never had a doctor truly listen to my concerns to the extent he did. He is progressive and that quality is so well integrated with a scientific, and at the same time, a common sense knowledge and approach. He is a blessing to have on our earth.

I want to start this review by prefacing that Dr. Raffinan is a great doctor, however it is clear the office managers here do not respect the patients like he does. I had an appointment for 8 AM on a Friday. Once I got into my car, I realized I was going to be 15-20 minutes late to my appointment due to unforeseen traffic. I immediately began calling the office at 8 AM when they opened to let them know I’d be late for my appointment. I called a total of 4 times, and nobody picked up. I even left a voice message, and got no return call. I finally get to the building 20 minutes later to receive a call saying I’m a “no-show” and have to wait until 11:30 AM. After explaining the situation to the woman and asking if they could take me at 8:30-9:30 because I could wait, she simply said no we can’t you didn’t show up and now you have to wait until 11:30. I have been a patient of Dr. Raffinan’s for 5 years now and my sister was his patient for many years before that. I was shocked that his employees were not even willing to work with me, and completely blamed me for not showing up even thought I had made many attempts to inform them and try to help. Sadly, I will not be going back to this doctor and will look to find a better, kinder physicians office. If you want to keep your patients happy and provide the support they need, it should start with all employees and not just the physicians.

Quick and convenient. They adhere to your appointment time so you don’t have to wait for hours sitting in the wait area.

Ive seen the doctor a couple of times and he is great. Easy to speak to and gives advice beyond just the day to day medical stuff. But the incompetence of his scheduling service is unbelievable. They booked me in for holiday and changed it at the last minute and provided a date over the phone when I showed up they didnt even have me in the system and the complete lack of effort to fix it was something else, they were blaming me for them having messed up.

Dr Raffinan is a wonderful doctor who listens, spends time with you, never makes you feel rushed AND happens to be a great physician too!Because hes so good. Hes in demand and getting a routine appointment can take time. But urgent cases are seen immediately if you tell the receptionist you are near death!
