Ordering was quite straightforward, and the staff was quite helpful, polite, and compassionate when my credit card kept diminishing due to out-of-country transactions. The medications contained inside the package were tightly sealed and in great shape. Thank you so much!

Not open Sundays. This is a great, neighborhood pharmacy. Service feels personal and caring. I tried to update the incorrect operating hours which Google lists here, but even though they published my verification photo of the hours posted on the front door, Google wouldnt correct the hours listed here. Oh well, I tried.

Thank you for my order being shipped promptly! Im so grateful that because of my experience purchasing my drugs, your store proved to be such a facility. I dont always have a chance to go for the medicines and products that are required.

I’ve been a customer for some time. I’ve always had positive experiences with Thriftway. I never really gave much thought to this local pharmacy. I noticed the employees are always very kind & helpful. Perhaps two years ago, I decided to get my prescriptions filled there. I’ll spare readers boring details but I had an issue this week with medication I need to take daily. It had to do with the amount of medication & my insurance coverage. With the ease of a trained magician, the pharmacist took care of everything at no cost. I was almost in shock at being believed & valued as a customer & as a human. This is a rarity in today’s’ world! I am VERY grateful!!!! 💙

Probably good for pharmaceutical products but definitely not good for UPS.Person at counter did not know how to give an email receipt yet did not inform me in advance. The person I saw last week knew how to do it.We all know that on occasion packages go missing... packages cost dollars and jobs.We all require receipts to follow up on missing packages. The people today at this pharmacy were non-plus that giving me a receipt was an issue and just dismissed it.Suggest go to a UPS store for any package drop offs not Thrift Pharmacy. A pity because I wouldn’t trust going here again.

They will try to tell you your insurance doesn’t work or that you don’t have insurance so you’ll pay cash and they’ll charge you extra. Scammers and really the problem with the medical distrust in America.

Needs improvement on their service offered!!!!!!!!!!July 10/ 2020As NY resident not living in Manhattan and as a 5year customer of this pharmacy (based on the closest proximityto my primary care clinic Ryan Chelsea; I have finally decidedto comment on my extended experience with this pharmacyand most of its’ staff. Hoping that the effort and time invested in publishing this review is taken into consideration to improve their awareness, recognition and appreciation on the common practices currently given to customers that not only bring them business on an often basis but also are the reason why the pharmacy stays in business.1.-Often times the Pharmacist gets annoyed by customers’ consultationsin regards general inquiries:a) information on the type of medication provided,b) doctor’s lack of familiarity of placing digital prescriptionsc) little patience shown with cases of limited government assistance insurance coverage.2.-Lack of appreciation, respect and informality shown by one of the newest male young staff member at the cashier when handling pick up refills.3.- Non-prior disclosure on any changes on the prescribed product versus the one given “based on your insurance coverage”, taking away the customer’s right to chose whether or not you want to accept the product provided.4.-Not capable of updating customer’s file medications after receiving a verbal notification on discontinued medications and/or treatments. It is the customer’s responsibility of checking every medication/item given otherwise you will be electronically signing for medications you are no longer required to take.5.-It is not part of the pharmacy common practice to show the customer what is inside the package of medications that are being picked up, but it is a common practice to electronically sign the pick up slip detailing what is inside the bag with a bunch of numbers instead of medication names.

Every positive review about Thriftway is 100% accurate. I am a first time customer but the pharmacist treated me like a had been shopping there for years and as if I was spending an enormous amount of money on the order. The truth is I spent $16.48. Chris, the pharmacist is a caring professional. The other persons involved in my order--including a young man who delivered it--made dealing with Thriftway an absolute pleasure. I hope business owners of all kinds model themselves after Thriftway. Thriftway stands out as a place where you can expect customer service thats outstanding.

I called up and really just needed childrens Motrin delivered to my aunts house where my children were. The pharmacist, Chris told me they only delivered prescription meds, but made an exception for this situation. I really appreciate how he went out of his way to do this for me. Ill definitely be doing business with this pharmacy again!!!!!

The hours online don’t reflect the pharmacist’s hours — May say they’re open till 7 on Saturday but pharmacy closes at 4 and you can’t pick up prescriptions.Be open on Sundays.
