Reliable, Friendly, Fast & Super Convenient!!! Life saver in the pandemic!!Thomas Drugs has been my neighborhood pharmacy for years; I will never go anywhere else. They seem to have my prescriptions ready immediately & greet me by name when I call. Best service I have ever received. Pharmacists & staff are incredibly knowledgeable & everyone is very helpful. They stock hard to find products, CBD, masks, etc.Not only is it the best pharmacy in the UWS, it is one of the few surviving small neighborhood pharmacies in the NYC. They provide an essential service to the community - SO glad they are here for us in the pandemic, so glad they are still going strong!

As a 20 year customer, this is the best and most valuable store on the Upper West Side. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Their willingness to help us, even during the pandemic, is incredible. Thomas Drugs is highly recommended by me and my family on the UWS.

Ive been going here for well over 15 years...never had a problem. I have always found the pharmacist friendly and transparent. I can only think that if you enter a store with a chip on your shoulder that you will most likely walk out with one on your should too. This is New York people, no one has to put up with anyones bad behavior.

I am thankful that this drug store is here. The people that run it are so friendly and so prompt and so professional - there are often young folks at the cadh register- looks like a family run operation to me. Its always good always quick always a pleasure to go in there and ask questions.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I have been going there for almost 20 years, and never had any issues whatsoever. If anything the owner has always been courteous and friendly. Got along splendidly from day one!Perhaps the issue lies in those giving the negative reviews, hmmm..........

Staff is very polite and customer service was great. Coming in I always get a greeting and someone is always available to help me out with prescriptions as well as off the counter medicine.

Thomas Drugs is undoubtedly one of the best drug stores in NYC. The proprietor takes a perosnal interest in each client as does his staff. Medicines are dispensed quickly and with no fuss. They remember who you are and are always quick to help. Over and above this they stock a veriety of other high end products related to skin care etc. They are often the first ones to have these products in the area. We hope everyone will support this neighborhood gem!

Whats not to like? Theyre really nice people. Friendly pharmacist and helpful staff. Plus everytime I walk in, I always enjoy seeing the actors and singers of the neighborhood. I came once and saw Liam Neeson and one other time I saw Chris Rock and BonJovi and John Legend and Meghan Trainor. They all live across the street or Come to a Dr Kessler someone tells me. So Im pretty impressed by the celebrities I see in there. Prices are negotiable but its an independent pharmacy so it makes sense. But theyre such a cozy little friendly pharmacy.

The owner of this store is of Indian decent, and unfortunately fits the stereotype of an unfriendly Indian storekeeper, not at all interested in the well-being of his customers.I bought some prescription medicine for my wife, but for some reason the Insurance didnt go through. I paid cash for it, and called our insurance company when I returned home. Turned out there was some fault on their side, which the person on the phone was able to fix, and she told me to go back to the store and run the insurance again so I could get a refund for my cash expenditure. Upon returning to the store, the pharmacist (and I believe owner of the store) was really annoyed of having to do the less than one minute job of running the insurance claim again. When he complained about the extra work (even though there was nobody else in the store) I told him that this is what is called customer service, and he said straight to me that he was not interested in doing any customer service. At least he is somewhat honest about his lousy service, and Ill go somewhere else for my next pharmacy stop. So should you.
