I dont really leave Google reviews but felt compelled to leave one for this practice. The physicians are decent, but the receptionists and technical support people on the phone are absolutely terrible and rude.

ARROGANT - INCOMPETENT - RUDEDONT GO HERE. Worst department at Cornell. I spoke with Gloria who assured me if there was any problem refilling my prescription the day before I was leaving for vacation, she would call me back. She didn’t call back and I had to go on vacation without this important medication. They put you on hold forever. They don’t call you back when they say they will. They don’t respond to prescription refill requests. And they are rude. Hundreds of other top dermatologists in this City but they act like they are the only one. Save yourself the stress on top of the stress of your medical condition.Avoid this place at all costs.

The doctors are great, but everything else is horrible. Dealing with them on the phone is not a fun experience. If you need anything like a prescription refill or papers faxed, its way harder than it needs to be, and no one Ive spoken to has been helpful.

The 2 stars are only because its a Cornell/NY Presbyterian affiliated office -- otherwise Id give them a 0 out of 5.Good luck getting anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Never ending game of phone tag.....Doc who I saw was a terrible listener. Never followed up. Blamed the problem I was having on me. Put me on a never ending cycle of antibiotics and even tried to re-prescribe me an antibiotic that he had already taken me off of due to the antibiotic resistance of the bacteria. Only caught it after another physician emailed him asking why he did that.I ended up being hospitalized with an infection after 8 months of poor quality service from this derm. Really disappointed with my experience especially given the typically exemplary service I receive from other Cornell practices/physicians.

I have been getting treatment here for a specific condition. They put me on a medication that every six months I get a bad flare up from and end up in the hospital. There is not set Doctor that treats me where I can call up and say can I leave a message for so and so. This hospital is absolutely useless. The Doctors want to call you on their time but take no consideration for their patients. Every time I spoke to a resident or a doctor they just sounded miserable and as if they want nothing to do with the patient. I seriously had enough with this terrible, terrible place. I don’t advise anyone to go here let alone get treated by the hospital!!

I called and spoke to the staff requesting an emergency appointment and they gave me an appointment for 3 weeks out.I explained that I had an emergency situation and needed to see a dermatologist right away. The receptionist said I will send a message to the doctor and she or I will call you back. Two days later I called again and the staff told me she did not see any notes in my file. She offered an appointment for 2weeks out. I said you work in an office with several dermatologist, are you able to speak to one about my issue and ask for an appointment today or tomorrow. She was annoyed that I was persistent about seeing a dermatologist for a situation that I deem critical and said she would reach out and get back to me.Here I wait!I will never reach out to this group again.

I use to be treated in Brooklyn by the best dermatologist. Unfortunately they became so popular they decided not to accept insurances any longer. I took a chance on a referral to WCM Derm, a big let down. The doctor did nothing, I would be given steroid injections to bring down my zits, this doc spoke about using the proper razors. He prescribed medication which i found out were not covered under my insurance. Visit lasted 10 minutes.

I went in August and spent $1400 in botox only to have wrinkles on my forehead and crows feet. I only went as a client of mine said that it’s free due to residence practicing or much less that a real Dermotologist office who charges me $15 a unit. To my surprise they charged the same as going to a real Dr. i called to let them know i still have tons of wrinkles and now they want me to pay more. I’m filing a claim with my credit card company. But, please note for the price they are charging DO NOT TAKE CHANCES HERE with students. It is a waste of money. Instead of them fixing it with 20mire units i will have to file a claim to not pay for the 92 units I paid for and nothing happened. I should be FROZEN!

A great place for impressionable and ambitious residents to learn how patients with inferior insurance are actually animals and not human beings.

My appointment was for 10 am. It is 11.23am now and I am still waiting. I am not sure if they forgot that they have to see their patients.
