I was recommended by a friend that had a very severe orthodontic case, and his teeth looked great after his treatment. I just wanted to align my upper teeth and really work on my bottom teeth that was crooked since I was little. It was great because I could do Invisalign on top and clear braces on the bottom.I am so glad I chose MFO, they are lovely people, super accommodating and they are absolutely great professionals! All emergencies I had were handled and I am moving now towards the end of my treatment. I am very happy with it and I have already seen a huge difference in my smile!! They are the best!

I am beyond happy with my experience at MFO with Dr Togias. I first came in to get help with straightening my teeth. But it went far beyond that. I was a night time teeth grinder. Due to a bad bite and crowded teeth. Dr Togias not only gave me a perfect smile but I dont grind anymore. I can floss without breaking the floss. It’s not easy getting and wearing braces, especially as an adult, but MFO makes it as pleasant an experience as possible. I paid in full (in two installments) during the first 8 months.At the completion of the treatment period, the doctor said I needed a new night guard. I went in for the fitting and reconfirmed that there would be no charge as, to my understanding, this necessary appliance was part of the all in fee. The doctor told me the charge would be minimal, a few hundred dollars. Even though I was taken aback that there would be any charge at all, with his confirmation that the charge would just be a few hundred, I agreed to proceed.At checkout out, the receptionist informed me that I owed $500. To me, this was not a few hundred dollars.I did not pay nor did I return for the night guard. I did, however, write a letter to the doctor outlining my displeasure. I got no response.My advice: When you agree to treatment terms, get the price quote in writing.I am happy with the outcome of the work, but very disappointed in business practices of Manhattan Family Orthodontics.

Dr. Togias,Treated my son severe over bite with professional precision and amazing care. The results, after the braces phase was over is amazing. The staff and friendly environment at Manhattan Family Orthodontics is no myth. It is real, the atmosphere is comfortable. I will also miss the hot chocolate. My son Charles had his braces removed yesterday and is now in the retainer phase, older and more mature he is amazed at his own transformation, big plus he loves the invisalign like retainer and is smiling in the mirror all day. It is kid friendly environment. The staff is warm and welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Togias has a great disposition with the kids. My daughters brace adjustment visits are pleasant, the staff and the doctor always ask how she is doing and about her general well being. Is much appreciated. They are very good with keeping appointment times. We rarely wait pass our scheduled appointment time. They have late appointments which is a plus. My daughter doesnt have to miss school or leave early for her adjustments. We have been with this office nine months. Highly recommend it.

The worst experience I have ever had with a Doctors office. The manager there In the NY office is so rude and mean I cant believe they let her deal with clients. I called and told her my braces broken and were stabbing me and I was in a lot of pain, she explained that I would have to wait 5 days to come into the office to have them fixed. I asked if there was anyway I could been seen sooner and she all but yelled at me, telling it was my fault that they broke! I spent over 5K on these braces and was treated so poorly I hung up crying. Dont make the mistake of going here or sending your kids here, once those braces come off and they have your money , they dont care about you at all.

I just love Manhattan Family Orthodontics. Ive been going to Dr. Togias for over two years now. The office is always clean, everyone is extremely helpful and friendly, and the best part is that Ive never had to wait! They have been incredibly accommodating of my schedule. I feel like Im going home every time Im there. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Going anywhere else would just be settling.

Dr. Togias and his staff are the best! I am certainly satisfied with this office and I am so happy I found them. They are very helpful and kind with everything. It was not easy to decide to get braces at 25 but they make it a good experience. They are thorough with the process and explain everything that you want to know.

I am currently travelling from Australia when my bottom wire became loose and lodged into my gums. I searched up orthodontist in Manhattan and Family Orthodontics were the first to come up. They were able to book me in an hour and a half later to fix the problem. Dr Kris took care of me and the emergency I was having. BeIng a lovely and wonderful practice they waived any fees that may have occurred during the small visit. 5 stars for a true family orthodontist!

I have been a patient at MFO for over a year now and have never been less than completely satisfied with the care. Well, just do as I did by visiting Dr. Togias at Manhattan Family Orthodontics (with my 10 year old son Jason). As Dr. Togias was successfully transforming my son Jasons smile, I hesitantly asked him to also have a look at my teeth with their teenage orthodontic work having long disappeared. Within minutes Dr. Togias was able to recommend a plan for transforming my smile. The combination of Dr. Togias and staffs warmth, confidence, and know-how transformed my smile, bite, and even breathing. 1 starThis practice over-promises and under-delivers.I consider myself fortunate for making a decision not to subject my child to the orthodontic treatment here.I had scheduled my initial consultation in advance with Dr. Togias, the lead practitioner, who I chose personally based on extensive industry research. When I came in, I was told the doctor is not there and he is at a different office and it was scheduled by mistake. I thought its an annoyance and could happen to anyone, so decided to reschedule. During our next appointment we briefly met the doctor and spent most of the time with his orthodontic assistant in training attempting to take records. After an hour or so we were told to schedule another appointment to discuss the treatment plan with Dr. Togias after he reviews records. At that appointment we were met with the an unpleasant surprise – Dr. Togias was not available to see us and delegated this critical responsibility to his junior colleague. Question to the practice – why would you not inform me of this change in advance to afford me an opportunity to make a choice whether to keep this appointment or reschedule? I had to take time from work and my child had to be pulled from school for that appointment and it was wasted time for both of us. No apology from staff who just stated as a matter of fact that we just have to reschedule???As a result of this experience, besides loosing mine and my child’s valuable time, I am really grateful that I did not commit to getting treatment at this practice. And I genuinely hope this review serves as a helpful reference to you when you are making an important medical decision for you or your family.

Very satisfied with my visit to the firm. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Doctor Nicolay and his wonderful team. I was taken care of quickly, they understood my problem very well and resolved it with a lot of professionalism and clarity both on the procedure and the price, I was very satisfied. While in the United States for a short time, I was relieved to have such quality care as part of my Invisalign treatment. I totally recommend the firm, as well as its caring, efficient team.
