Worst experience ever. I had a bad feeling with this practice since the beginning: I’m definitely not fluently with English but I usually get what people say. Not in this case: even if it was clear I’m not mother tongue they didn’t do any efforts to help me, but it’s ok, this is my problem.The first time I went there the technician was very rude and unfriendly.The second time I went there for a CT scan (that’s very expensive) and they asked me to pay before the visit. I thought it was weird but I said “ok”. Well, a few minutes later, while I was waiting in my room, the x-rays technologist (or maybe the nurse, I don’t know) came to me to say they were repairing the machine and it took “only few minutes”. After 30 minutes I was still there and I decided to leave.Just the receptionist felt a little bit sorry while the nurse didn’t say anything, she wasn’t interested in what was happening at all.They obviously gave me a refund, but who is going to refund me for the hours of work I lost?

I was very happy with the service . Everyone is very pleasant from the moment you walk in, to the time that you leave . Dr Valle was able to put me at ease along with his assistant and everything was smooth from the time of the surgery/ follow ups. Highly recommend Dr. Valle & staff. Thank you .

Doctor Shahin Shahgoli, made my experience something that I will never forget, I went for a tooth extraction and let me tell you I was scared and nervous. When I got to the office the staff was professional and super kind, they made me feel so comfortable that when I was done with the procedure I immediately book another appointment for a second tooth extraction and when I came back the service was still amazing. Dr shanin Shagoli took his time to explained to me the procedure, he was so nice and so patient and his assistants are very well trained. In conclusion all I can say is that he erased all of my fears of going to the dentist and some of the bad experiences that I had in the past with other dentists. If youre concerned about the billing process the staff will take the time to explained to you in detail how it works. Again amazing experience from beginning to the end.

Dr.Siege is AMAZING!!!! Was so wonderful with our one month old baby girl. She had more tongue ties than we realized and he took the time to show us them before the procedure. He was so kind and explained everything that he would do very thoroughly making us feel so calm about it. She was in excellent hands and I would recommend him, and this group to anyone who needed to see them. The BEST!

The did a great job in pulling out my tooth smoothly. the one problem I did have with them is the way they handle billing. they over charge me for a co pay that I was reimburse by my insurance company.

Aside from the smooth surgery I had, the billing process is questionable. I paid up front but the claim never made it to my dental provider. Thought it was strange since its been over 90 days and nothing. Came to find out the claim was never received or filed. Someone is lying. Took the money first and could care less. This careless practice is causing inconvenience and time.*****following up on the comment above****Three weeks later I Had to waste my time calling back and forth. My dental provider sent a $1500 check to the office and yet still have not received 2 weeks later. Called and had to request for my check. This process has taken me 7 calls, over 90 days.Unacceptable.

Dr. Shahgoli was absolutely outstanding. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, and as someone who waited until after college to get them extracted I was nervous. He was both personable and professional. I followed his instructions to the tee and had no swelling, and manageable pain. He was recommended to me by a colleague, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. I hope I never have to go back, but if I ever need surgery I would go to him in an instant. My insurance covered most of the procedure.

Just recently had my wisdom teeth removed here. The staff and Dr. Antonio Del Valle is very helpful and friendly. They really let you know everything before you go under, to be honest I didnt even notice being put to sleep. If you need stuff done to your teeth this is the place to go to. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice.

I just had four wisdom teeth extracted today (9/16) and Im on my way, no pain. OMG! Dr. Shahgoli is an amazing oral surgeon. He is clearly the Tooth Whisperer. He calmed all of my fears. Before I knew it all four teeth were out and I was on my way home. There is also an amazing staff, from the front desk to the team assisting the doctor. If you need your wisdom tooth or teeth extracted this is the place you want to be. I cant say enough about the doctor or professional supportive, knowledgeable environment. I had a tooth extracted by Dr.Del Valle. It was a first for me and I was apprehensive. The surgeon was affable, quick, smooth and efficient. His instructions were pretty clear.I felt pain for just that day which I only had to take over the counter pain medication for. I was fine the next day and havent had infections or related problems at all. My follow up visit was great,too. Dr.Shahgoli was professional and courteous.The staff was friendly and very helpful. Im grateful I was referred to this group.

I had 2 wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Del Valle, and the process was as painless as it could have been :) The office staff is very friendly and competant, which is hard to find - I never had to wait more than a couple of minutes in the waiting room, and it is very easy to get appointments scheduled with the care and attention you need.Dr. Del Valle is extremely nice and makes you feel comfortable. More importantly, he did a great job on the procedure, and I think my recovery time was much quicker than most because of it. Fully recommend him!

Had 4x teeth pulled (3 wisdom, 1 molar) under sedation with Dr. Del Valle & had a very pleasant experience. Wouldnt have done it any other way. A+++ service!! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Everyone who works in this office is extremely helpful and kind and gets back to you promptly. I had an easy experience getting my wisdom teeth removed- they explained all steps to me and made sure all arrangements were made for getting home afterwards and for the follow up. Never felt LESS PAIN and MORE PANICKED than I did! (I had to take my wisdom tooth out! 🆘 ) Why, when I went to the BEST ORAL SURGEON EVEERRR, dr Antonio Del Valle ✨✨💫 , and BEST NURSES??!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I guess we were terified as kids how every extraction is painful, and dentist are villains! (I have witnessed some painful procedures as a kid). NOT TRUE!! Medical science has significantly progressed and dentists are challenged today to be better and more and more skillful every day. It took 10 min and I DIDNT FEEL A THING!!! I’m a little butterfly and I’m sensitive to pain. 🦋 If you can find THE oral surgeon like I did, you can only feel eternal gratitude and happinesses. 🙏🏻💙👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏻‍⚕️💉💊🔬 ✔️

I was referred to Dr. Shahgoli of Manhattan Maxillofacial Surgery Group by my sister (who was referred by her colleague) and it was truly the best referral I have ever received. The entire office at Manhattan Maxillofacial is exemplary and the individualize care I received for my procedure exceeded my expectations. The team genuinely values you a person, your health and procedure as though you are their only patient. My procedure was executed flawlessly and my recovery time was significantly less than expected. This is a testament to how well educated and experienced the surgeons are that practice here. I am never the type to write reviews, however, felt it was extraordinarily important to share my experience because of how impressed I was. I unconditionally and without any doubts recommend Dr. Shahgoli and the professionals at Manhattan Maxillofacial Surgery Group.

Billing practices of Dr Shahgoli and Dr. Del Valle are scandalous. Even though they are in-network with my insurance they charged me for a full procedure and left me with getting a refund from the insurance while they are the one who has to fill the claim with the insurer; basically they dont care since theyve got paid already. Also the fashion it was done with is outrages. When I was sitting in pain on chair after a consult the office manager asked me to sign the paperwork and to give her a credit card to charge me for the procedure. Even though I questioned the upfront billing it was either their way or highway. I highly discourage anyone from using the office.

Extracted all four of my wisdom teeth with Dr. Shahgoli two weeks ago. Had a wonderful experience - Dr and staff are all very professional and caring. I had three wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Shagoli in Feb 2013. The surgery went VERY fast and I felt great as soon as the next day after the procedure. Dr. Shagoli and the the staff were very professional, courteous and attentive. Really great work overall!

I recently had an implant put in by Dr. Shagoli. I thought he did a great job! I havent had any issues with infection and was only in pain for about a day and a half. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

I highly recommend Manhattan Maxillofacial Surgery Group! I needed an implant so my primary dentist referred me to Dr. Shahgoli. What I like about Dr. Shagohli is that he took the time to explain every step of my procedure, address any concerns I had, and made sure I was completely comfortable during the surgery. If you need a place for oral surgery, look no further. Everyone at MMSG is very courteous and professional. You also never have to wait long to be seen.

Ive now been to Dr. Shahgoli twice for wisdom tooth removal, once five years ago for the bottom two wisdom teeth, and most recently for my two top wisdom teeth. While wisdom teeth removal isnt something Id typically give 5 stars, Dr. Shahgoli and his wonderful staff made the whole process easy and relatively painless. I elected to have a consultation with Dr. Shahgoli where he took the time to explain the procedure/why he recommended it but didnt put pressure on me to get it one ASAP, or at all! On the day of my procedure I was seen relatively quickly and opted for IV sedation which is highly recommended as it makes the procedure quick, easy, and painless :) Now a week later I am almost fully recovered and have graduated from eating 100% soft food to sort of soft-ish food which is awesome! If you need oral surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Shahgoli!!!

Charge too much for just a consultation. Not fair at all.
