Do not go here. If she messes up, and she will, she will not take responsibility. She will hold your medical records hostage even when your insurance has cleared your name as you attempt to go elsewhere. You cannot afford to get on her bad side. Incredibly rude, exceptionally cruel. I have written her up. Ethical standards are lacking. 0 stars. She can hold temper for 3 years!

For me going to the dentist is a bit different than most people. I had a traumatic experience 5 years ago that has not just affected my life but my ability to bring myself to a dentist. So recently a crown broke and I had to find a dentist..a really good one....I did my homework and came up with a few in NYC...By fate or luck I ended up in Dr. Angelica Silivria chair.I come from a family in healthcare. Almost everyone in my immediate family is a surgeon, pharmacists, clinician, scientist or MD of some sort. From a young age, I have been taught to inquire about any medical procedure being performed on me in painstaking details. Before meeting Dr Silivria , I met and rejected 3 dentist who were unable to demonstrate their knowledge to me sufficiently. One of them is a Fifth Avenue celebrity dentist who has a 6 month waiting list and charged me full price(no insurance accepted) Still not good enough. I do not care about a fancy office or equipment, if the knowledge and technique is lacking. When I met Dr. Silivria for a consultation, not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she patiently tolerated my barrage of questions, answering calmly and precisely. It was clear to me from that moment if I ever became anxious in the chair during a procedure, she would provide the serenity I needed.Dr. Silivria took a great conservative approach to my cavities and fillings and when I ended up requiring a root canal, with crown lengthening surgery, her staff squeezed me in for a quick checkup and referred me quickly to an periodontist for my surgery, and ensured my X-rays were sent over before I arrived to their office. She is attentive, friendly, and very efficient. She answers all of my questions before and after any appointment, and I find her to be incredibly knowledgeable.Dr. Silivria sets herself apart from other NYC dentists by providing personalized and compassionate dental care. Her NYC dental office is staffed with highly trained dental care professionals. Her office has also taken every precaution since COVID-19, highly recommended.

Dr. Silivria is excellent. I had to have a cleaning, some fillings done and a crown finished. Dr. Silivria is very skilled, making the work quick, painless and easy. Her office staff is professional and organized. They follow the COVID-19 precautions thoroughly, unlike other dentist offices I have been to recently. Would highly recommend!

Dr Silivria is awesome. I dont have much free time in my schedule to go to the dentist but the highly professional front desk staff here make it easy with convenient appointments and no wait times. Dr Silivria is a skilled clinican and unlike many other docs around here she actually takes time and effort to educating her patients individually. I would highly recommend.

I went to this doctor when she worked near Baruch College. She told me I had over 10 cavities, and most were deep!! I got a few filled in (each one cost around $50). I moved from the City and life got busy, so i did not get the rest of my cavities filled in, thank God!!!I recently went to another dentist, and didnt mention what Dr. Silivria diagnosed me with of having 10+ deep cavities. My new dentist said I have NO CAVITIES and showed me the x-rays! I was shocked to find out my cavities disappeared (which is not a thing). This makes me believe that Dr. Silivria just made me get normal teeth filled in...Be careful and get a 2nd opinion...

Dr. Silivria is extremely thorough. She took time to get to know me as a new patient and did a complete exam, x-rays, and cleaning. I didnt feel as though she was trying to rush me out the door as with other dentists. And the wait time was minimal, unlike other offices Ive visited. In addition to my general dental health, she answered my questions about cosmetic options to improve my smile and tooth color. She is very competent and cordial. I am delighted to have her as my new general dentist and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a good dentist.On 10-26-2018, I went back to Dr. Silivria for my first follow-up appointment and continue to be very satisfied with the care I received. I was given x-rays and a full exam, which revealed a cavity that needed to be addressed. After a thorough cleaning, my cavity was filled quickly and efficiently, and I have had no subsequent pain or discomfort. I am happy to have a great general dentist here in the neighborhood.

Visiting this dentist was one of the worse mistakes Ive made. She had to treat a cavity on one of my front teeth. After she placed the filling about a month later, the tooth became very sensitive and eventually I needed a root canal on it, and a crown placed over it. What should have been a simple procedure was completely botched. Now Im a young man with a crown on a front tooth, due to this dentists lack of expertise. Avoid at all costs.

Dr Siliuvria is very professional, Im happy with the effects of her work. The Office is clean, and comfortable. Doctor is knowledgeable and explained the procedure clearly with all details. Doctor herself as well as the staff are friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend her.

Very reasonable with price for very high quality work done with an extra special touch of sensitivity, tender love and care. I have found my new place to call home for dental work here on the Upper West Side in NYC. Angelica and her team Karina, Olga, and Anastasia are really genuinely friendly and did a great job helping me get over some dental phobias I have developed from so many bad experiences over the years!

Im not a fan of going to the dentist, but since Angelicas team took over for my last dentist its definitely been much less painful. Two cavities on opposite sides of my mouth and the only pain I felt during the fillings was getting the shot to numb the area.
