Excellent skill for a very reasonable price! I had a unique problem and I was so disappointed of dentist in general after seeing 5 different dentists/dental surgeons and still werent able to get my problem fixed. I think the problem there was vast majority of dentists dont remember you case and treat you like its first time seeing you on every appointment.Dr. Yang really took diligence on my individual case to came up with long term plan, then followed through the plan with continuing checks on the progress. I believe that was the real difference maker.Thank you!

I have known Dr. Jane Yang dozen years ago through her advertising on TV. Due to the long distance from my location to her office, I kept going to local dentists for the past years. At the beginning of this year, I consulted Dr. Yang about implant through a social media, and I found her professionalism, patience and consideration very impressive. I started my two implants last February, and today was my third visit. I just cannot say enough how much I was reassured during the whole process. The trust, respect, and appreciation are just my feeling for Dr. Jane Yang.

I met with Dr Yang for a consultation. She is the most amazing dentist I ever had. She explained the whole procedure for implant and what to expect with/without implant. I actually felt so comfortable and decided to get it done without any hesitation.To my surprise, it looked like an easier work for Dr Yang. Is was super professional, quick, and comfortable. After the procedure, I did not have any bleeding and only had to take 1 ibuprofen for the discomfort .I am totally satisfied with my implant and decided to do more with Dr Yang if needed. Highly recommend to everyone

I got cancelled twice by them. Firstly I booked Sat and they rescheduled to Friday with me coz the doctor is off this Sat. Then this Friday morning they called me to reschedule again because “there are no other appointments this afternoon, so doctor want to leave earlier”. Also they told me two different numbers of consulting fee- first call was $80, and second time was $60 (all details were same, same person on the call) which made me feel they even don’t have a standard price. Won’t consider here anymore.

Very bad experience! I get there in time. The receptionist told me that I got to wait at least 30 minutes. When she found out I couldnt use my insurance and I could pay for the dentist out of my own pocket. She quickly sent me to take the x-ray. That was fine for me at least I got some service. I waited for about another 45 minutes. At that time two more patients came in. The dentist came. He just faced and talked to the screen of the computer. I didnt even know if He noticed either I laid down there, sat there , or stood there to have been waiting for him for his professional service. I heard he said that in English I cant do anything right now. He either takes it out or takes some pills. I said you hadnt even took a look at me. That is it? I asked. That is it. he said. I was piss off. I told the receptionist I need refund or at least some credits for next service. She told me in Chinese that she just worked there only one day a week. She cant do it. At the end the dentist told me that I yelled at him and his staff. Oh, My. I dont even know why I have been their patient for over two years!?

I went to Jane Yang Dental for fillings and wisdom teeth removal. The office is very nice and clean. The ladies they have on staff is very nice. Dr. Ho, who did my wisdom teeth removal was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He was super nice which put me at ease about the procedure. He even follow up with me afterwards to make sure I am doing ok. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone looking for one.

Dr. Yang is a great dentist I ever saw! She is Knowledgeable, nice, patient and puts a lot effort for each case, detailing every small part of the treatment, also spent her own time to help us, very thankful to have Dr. Yang as our dentist!

Even though I am a Chinese American, I usually stick to doctors in midtown as opposed to Chinatown. However, Dr. Yang is different and I will always go to Chinatown to see Dr. Yang.Dr. Yang is one of two doctors I have written a review for in my entire life. I usually dont write reviews for doctors because unlike restaurants and hotels, I dont think of doctors as part of the service industry. However, Dr. Yang is different.Dr. Yang is the only dentist I will ever go to because of her extraordinary ability to cause no pain. I have the lowest pain tolerance out of anyone. I have fainted from getting stitches removed, and I have fainted from seeing my younger brothers broken leg. With my incredibly low pain tolerance and extremely high anxiety from the sight of blood, Dr. Yang is somehow able to make my dentist visits not scary at all.I had 4 wisdom teeth removed by her. I came in on 2 separate days and had 2 teeth done on each day. Dr. Yang suggested doing 2 at a time so I could use the other side to eat. I was deathly scared of coming in the first time, but I kid you not - when it was over, I did not even know it was over. I thought she had not started yet. My anxiety was so bad during the first operation that I told her that I wanted to give up. She told me I was already done!After my first visit, I felt NO PAIN for 4 hours. Then I felt slight pain, but it was so tolerable that I was able to see my friends that night. They were surprised that I was even walking because during their experiences, their dentists used general anesthesia and they were bleeding for at least two days. I was seeing my friends 5 hours after 2 wisdom teeth were removed and I was eating solid food (I know - I shouldnt have, but I wanted steak) the next day.My second set of teeth removal was a little more complicated because my bottom one was in the nerve canal and it was also unusually large. It took an extra 5 minutes, but again - no pain! She explained to me that she cut off part of the tooth as opposed to digging into the gums of my teeth to remove it. This is more difficult and only more advanced and experienced dentists can do it without causing pain. Cutting into the teeth can be very painful or not painful at all while cutting into the gums definitely causes a little pain. She cut into the tooth that she was removing and did not cause any pain at all. Thus, the healing process will be much easier.I am honestly so so so surprised of how little pain there was. I still am so so so surprised. I recommend all my dental school friends to visit her for a potential internship and I recommend all my friends to come here for any potentially painful operation. Dr. Yang is one of a kind, and I am so lucky that she was my dentist.

They will tell you it will cost $2000, but when it is time to do it, they will charge you $6000. And they will tell you that you should do in one or three weeks. Then when the time comes, they will tell you that you should do it in three weeks, one week is too early. Because they want to charge $6000, not $2000. The 3rd week is the last week. You need to choose and you may have no choice for the last week because it takes time to get approval from the insurance and that is the last week for tooth operation or you will lost the tooth forever!!

Wait time: They seem to prioritize people due to “amount of time” they can get them in and out. For example, if someone had extra xrays to take, they’ll put someone else that needs work without xrays first—this is what a receptionist explained to me. I waited over 2 hours by the way. It’s very disrespectful and unprofessional to see about 4 people coming after me get treated before me.Processing paperwork time: Secondly, their receptionists processing time is incredibly inefficient. I understand that people have new insurance and requires time to process but I’m not sure if it should take over half hour after signing your name on the Check In board to ask; what’s your insurance? The weird thing is why asked for my insurance when I made an appointment over the phone, when it’s not even going to speed up anything but to merely check that you can pay for our services.1 Stars due to wait time mainly. I have been coming in for a while so this was the longest I ever waited and cleaning is just about the only basic thing I would do here.

The place is horribe! they hire young doctors when Dr.Yang isnt around and one of the doctors they have doesnt know anything. After x-ray for a check up she said my teeth are fine, except theres a few small cavities and it would be a quick fill in and teeth cleaning. After that my teeth were sensitive for two weeks and pain started to showed up and I had to go back, this time I saw another doctor, She went back to see my x-rays and mentioned I need a root canal and clearly pointed out I have gum disease and my gums are infected now. She told me my insurance might not cover the root canal and only gave me two prescriptions and I left, after the next day my half side of the face blew up and I called the office and the receptionist said the doctor isnt in yet and will call me back, never called back and told me it would cost me $150 to cut out the pus in my gums. Finally gave up on this place and the uncaring nature of everyone working there I went to another dentist and they called my insurance and said it was an emergency and the insurance do cover to drew out the pus and told me to go back tomorrow to check the area of the infection. What a difference a good doctor makes! Please dont make the mistake that any doctor will do since its a check-up or teeth cleaning. Go to a place thats caring and not only cutting corners in hiring young inexperience doctors and only care about taking your money.

Jane Yang is very unprofessional. She was arguing with a different customer while doing my root canal. I had to stop the dentist and told both the customer and the dentist to take their arguement else where. Did it once then she continued again after 15 mins.I do not recommend her to anyone, she is very unprofessional. I will never invest my money on this dentist ever again

I went there about six years ago and things went well. But what I did noticed were that some of the other either interns or other replacement dentists when Jane wasnt there seemed like they wanted less work and more cold hard cash. At the time I thought what if the dental cost was $2000?... Who in this day and age would carry that much cash on them anyway?

By far the worst dentist Ive been to waited an hour to be seen then whilst having my replacement crown worked on she dropped it on the floor picked it up and continued to work on it.Suffice to say try anywhere else before here.

Jane Yang is the worst doctor I have ever seen, and has no basic courtesy. I really dont know how he graduated from elementary school. Its worth traveling all the way to Manhattan, even if the charge is high. If the teeth are not installed properly, just install them casually. Afterwards, I said that I was uncomfortable and hoped that my teeth could go in again. He did say: There is no way, his work is completed, if you need to improve yourself, go to another clinic and spend money to get it.There is no professional ethics, and the attitude is extremely bad!Spending money, but being treated like this. It was originally recommended by a friend. It turns out that Ms. Yang has not only average skills, but also a bad attitude. The worst dentist ever used. Not professional at all. Not even the most basic tone of respect. rude and impatient. Her assistant is the same. Its a bad habit. It took money and time to travel to Manhattan very hard. The teeth were not very good, and it made people feel bad. I think the recommendations here are for other doctors. avoid yang if you have to use the business.

Poor attitude

The hygiene of this clinic on Eight Avenue is a bit poor. And the price of the doctors visit to the dentist is also the same for a while. The price was 850 when he said it was OK the previous day. When I came back the next day, it changed to 900.
