Staff is extremely kind and caring. Dr. Patel is so kind, caring and patient to your needs. I personally am scared of the dentist, but Dr. Patel ensures that you stay as comfortable as possible during your visit. Overall a great dentist experience every time!

Not only does the staff know this, but they take the time to communicate with me and work at my pace. The in-office plan is also awesome and helps me keep up on my 6 month appointments. I had a great experience at village dental nyc. The people there are fantastic. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helped me figure out what my insurance covered :)In addition, my hygienist was Theresa, and she did a fantastic job! I felt comfortable throughout the cleaning and more knowledgeable about dental hygiene after. She explained my x-rays as well as what she was doing at every step!I also liked that this place used a high pressure water stream to clean my teeth at the beginning. My previous dentist didnt do that, so it was new and something I appreciated :)

Short wait time. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Dental assistant was very kind, thorough and attentive. Dentist was quick and informative. Wish I had gone sooner. I really enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend this office. Especially for POC.

In the last couple of years, efficiency (in billing AND in booking) has improved 200% at village dental. theyve always been friendly and readily accessible for appointments. and the influx of new dentists has improved their professional expertise as well. even though i live an hr subway ride away since ive moved, i still go here because im so happy with their work. i ask for Tola when i get my teeth cleaned because hes amazingly fast and gentle.

I would avoid this place. I heard nothing but great things about Village Dental for years from my girlfriend and friends. Earlier this year, I finally decided to give them a shot and I regret that decision. Even my girlfriend, who was a truther and advocate for this place for years, had a less then ideal experience herself. She is now looking for a new dentist.The service was horrendous. The technician didn’t know how to take x-rays. It took 45 mins to take x-rays of my teeth. She had me move from one room to another because the machine was “broken” and continued to have issues as we ventured into a new room. We eventually found out that she wasn’t doing it right after all that time.My biggest issue with this place is that they recommended a procedure they said would be covered by my insurance company. I paid my portion of the cost on the day of the service. A month later they sent me a bill for the remaining amount because my insurance would not pay them. My insurance was willing to pay for the procedure under the stipulation that it was NEEDED. Village Dental, to this day, could not provide sufficient documentation to my insurer to validate the reason for this service they recommended. This is a form of DENTAL FRAUD….recommending services to patients that is not necessary. For legal purposes in the future, I probably shouldn’t be writing this review. However, I’m looking out for future patients that will get taken advantage of financially by the incompetence of this staff. God forbid you get an unexpected bill because of negligence or fraud. Stay away!!

Super professional and informative. From the staff at the front desk to the hygienist and doctor in the office. They make sure to cover everything before you can even think of asking a question. I did have questions and they promptly answered them to my satisfaction. I need additional work done and before I could even make an appointment at the front desk, they already had a printed out breakdown of what my insurance would cover and how much I would be paying out of pocket. They even offered a payment plan(as my out of pocket wasnt too high but I am sure others would not find comfortable to pay outright). My cleaning and exam was painless and quite relaxing. The bedside manner of the Doctor and Hygienist was great. Havent had a better experience.

Dr Patel is beyond amazing! She worked her magic to make my procedures painless with fantastic results! The whole staff is caring, highly skilled and very pleasant. This has been the best dental experience I’ve ever had!!!

This was the most efficient experience. No wait at all! My dental cleaning was excellent and the dentist came in and explained what work I needed. He was straightforward and didn’t, unlike other dentists I have been to, try to sell me on any unnecessary treatments. The front desk crew was very nice and worked with my insurance. She explained everything to me and I left with a comprehensive treatment plan. Highly recommended!

This office needs to get it together. A week before my first appointment (made 2 months in advance) they lost my records. When I made the appointment for wisdom teeth extraction, I made SURE they would have gas. The week-of I call to confirm and the office person said they don’t even offer it and whomever I spoke to was mistaken.

Ive been a patient at the 12th street location for about a year now. I go in for my bi-yearly cleaning and everytime I am greeted at the door. Everyone knows my name and it gives me a very comfortable feeling. The employees are very personable, we talk about travel plans, family life, etc.Last week, I completed my invisalign treatment to fix a gap between my teeth. For over the last 4 months, Ive literally watched them put a smile on my face.This is great place to be!

I was able to get an appointment the same day, and forms are conveniently available to fill out prior to your visit. Upon arrival, the check-in was super easy and I was seen right away. The cleaning was handled by a very experienced dental hygienist, and the dentist was able to perform two procedures in the same visit. I really appreciated this kind of efficiency as it cuts down on the number of visits. I’ve been to other places that make you come back over and over. Overall, a pleasant experience and friendly staff.

I have never had any teeth pulled. Today I woke up at 3 am in extreme pain from a wisdom tooth. Dr Patel got me in today and extracted my problem tooth. It was pain free and she was so kind and gentle the entire time. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and kind. I have found my new dental location. So glad I was able to get In today. I always have an amazing experience with all the dental hygienist and dentists at Village Dental NYC. They’re always thorough with my cleanings, answer all of my questions and address my concerns, and are super friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist. I got my first ever cavity at 26 and they took care of it on the spot and did everything to put me at ease before it was filled.

I almost can’t wait to go back! I was made to feel at ease and comfortable, I wasn’t rushed or tricked into anything I didn’t need and it was the best experience at the dentist I’ve ever had!

Honestly, worst dentist Ive ever been to. The doctor seemed knowledgeable, quick, and personable but the dental tech who did my cleaning was not. To start, she absolutely tore up my mouth during the cleaning - I can give this one a pass since this happens, whatever. But after that, she couldnt figure out how to turn on another one of the tools, called another tech in who also didnt know, and then they both left the room for about 10minutes while I laid there waiting for them to come back. Eventually they found the doctor who quickly showed them the switch that turned it on, and the cleaning continued. Then to top it off, right at the end she literally sprayed in the face with the little water tool when she was rinsing my mouth. At that point I just found it funny that so many basic things had gone wrong. On my way out I tried to coordinate with reception to pick up a prescription toothpaste from a nearby pharmacy but never got any confirmation that they did that.In the grand scheme of things, I got my cleaning done, it was thorough, and my teeth are cared for. But its not that hard to do the little things or even just be professional during it. Im probably going to ask them to send my x-rays to another dentist since I really dont want to come back here in 6 months.

LOVE them. I had an emergency crown replacement and I was extremely happy w/all that they did. It took a few visits to replace, and each time the staff was professional, courteous and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Tim and his caring competent staff have always been very attentive to my needs for cleanings/check ups as well as suggesting possible other solutions where needed. Their office is immaculately clean, appointment making system modern and efficient and they have taken both types of rather standard dental insurance I have had while going there. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or colleague.

Yesterday was my first visit at Village Dental, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Heilen, who was very welcoming and helped check me in, My appointment was set for 10 AM, and I was seen right on the dot, the hygienist Nadia, reviewed my dental concerns and was very gentle with my cleaning. I was then seen by Dr. Piamonte, who discussed my invisilgn process and ensured that I was in full understanding of the procedure. The assistant Nancy helped with the impressions for my invisilgn and she was very kind. I checked out in the front with Heilen who ensured I understood my insurance coverage, and informed me of the steps for my next visit, I enjoyed my dental experience, as everyone was really nice. I will definitely be coming back!

The actual dentist experience was fine, but since I went there I have received multiple texts and emails asking me to review them on Yelp/Google. One request I could understand, but five? Thats just spam.

My experience with this office was less than optimal and I personally have never experienced such disorganization at a doctor’s office. As a working professional, I made appointments during the workday so I could use my lunch hour or free blocks of time to sneak away. When my appointment for a filling hadn’t started 30 minutes after it was scheduled to start, I had to leave to catch a meeting. Rescheduled only to come back in pain and wait 56 minutes after my appointment time.!Separate and more concerning issue! The hygienist told me I would benefit from a deep cleaning. When I asked if it was completely covered they said yes. When I came in they told me they could only do half at a time so I scheduled my second half. It was only after the second half was completed that, surprise!, I found out my insurance did not cover the entire cleaning and I owed them more than 100 dollars. This place is a logistical mess, which is somewhat forgivable if you have a more flexible schedule. However, telling me something was covered when it wasn’t and waiting until both services were complete to change the messaging is just dishonest business practice. Luckily paying the amount is not an issue, but what if it was? Being stuck with an unexpected bill could have made a real difference at other times in my life. Also when I gave the feedback, I was told I was being “childish” and this “never happened” which isn’t the way to handle a patient that is upset over two very valid complaints. I absolutely would not recommend this practice.

I really wanted to get this resolved with the dental office before I left this review, but it didn’t happen. I emailed them, but they didn’t respond. The treatment here is great, but planning is so poor that I can’t go back. Every time I go there, I experience a 30 minute delay in getting looked at. The doctor hops from patient to patient while you’re actually in the chair, leaving you to just sit and wait with a mouthful of whatever you’ve got going on. I can’t go back here because they value their time over mine and consistently double book. I do not expect to have to wait so long past my appointment time, nor to have to wait for the dentist to take care of somebody else during my visit. Also, it’s impossible to get an appointment that isn’t weeks out.The last time I went, I walked out after being delayed 30 minutes from my appointment time.

I found Village Dental through google and it was the BEST decision I could have ever made. The office is friendly, professional, and effective— I could not have asked for a better experience!

New dentist replaced the old one I used to see...old dentist was great... This new dentist always pressured me to buy things I don’t need (night guards ..500$?!)...and getting a cavity filling replaced by him was the most painful tooth experiences ever. When he gave me the shot I could taste the numbing agent (as in idk if the shot even went in). Not only that but he overdrilled on one of my teeth and now I experience pain in that tooth because of a poor filling job. Be careful of this place as they have rotating dentists and you may end up seeing one that may cause you more pain/problems down the line. Changed dentists/practices and will never look back. With NYC being so big and having so many options, look elsewhere.

BE CAREFUL!!! I LOVE this place, they’ve always treated me well. Doctor Levy and Suli are super caring and nice. However, he no longer practices in the office everyday - only 2 days per week, which is really sad. I went to get my dental cleaning and everything was great. I had a loose crown from an implant and asked to see a doctor. I’ve had this happening in the past, Dr. Levy would check the X-ray and the implant and then screw more tightly. He would not charge me extra for it as it is an extremely simple procedure. Today, the new doctor agreed to see me but they booked me 2 hrs later to go back as she had lunch time plus another appointment. I did (missing time from work) and then when I got there this new doctor (Dr. Lydia Legg) told me that it would cost me minimum 250USD UP TO 400USD to check my crown. 1) she could’ve told me that when I asked her to see me 2 hours before and 2) it is an absolute ABUSE to charge that amount of money MINIMUM for tightening a screw when there’s nothing to replace. I agree she needs to see what’s wrong, but having a minimum of 250 usd for something so simple is crazy, even more so when the X-ray showed everything was perfect. I had to leave and hopefully will be able to see Doctor Levy next week. Too bad for this new doctor, as I really love the practice!! So BE CAREFUL!!!
