I went to Dr. Maya Deshmukh for the first time for a routine dental cleaning and I was so impressed with her and fellow staff during my visit. She is calm and considerate when she does procedures. She explains the entire procedure before she starts and checks in during to make sure that I am comfortable. She also talks about future needs and requirements for my dental needs that are above just cleaning and maintenance. She was totally thorough with all my dental needs - Maya is a 10/10

Alyssa is a gold sweetheart of a dental assistant/hygienist. This review is obviously biased, its hard not to be. While typical hygienist have an associates degree, she has a bachelor degree from the number one school for dental hygienists: NYU. If you are nervous, shell calm you down. As a bonus, she teaches yoga and places the ukulele, sometimes at the same time.

When it comes to my teeth, I have complete trust in her and I have never once regretted that decision. Dr. Jacobs is absolutely the best! I chipped my teeth and was very worried if they can be fixed but Dr. Jacobs was very helpful, reassured me and fixed my teeth and now they look like nothing ever even happened! She’s AMAZING! And her office, especially Maria, is very responsive as well. Highly recommend!

I try to avoid going to the dentist at all times because of obvious reasons where I am scared, I dont want to smell my tooth burning, etc... For me, it used to be like torture sitting at that dentists chair until I had my multiple visits with Doctor Zaygermakher. She is very knowledgeable, fast and on point. If not medically necessary, she would not want you to go through any additional treatment(s) and she definitely doesnt rush things. I have not felt any pain or never had any concerns. Dont waste time researching who to go. For me I wont go to anyone else then Doctor Zaygermakher.

Dr. Jacob is everything! Was referred to her from a few co-workers (as I had a horrible experience with my previous dentist), and she took care of me immediately and with so much tenderness and care. Both her and her assistant are so kind, and answer all questions + handle all concerns with the utmost kindness and with a big smile. Without a doubt one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had.

Dr Maya is my dentistry angel. I have struggled with major dental phobia and anxiety for my entire life, and navigating dental care in a place like NYC can be a total mind melter, but Dr Maya and Natalie really took care of me. Not only was Dr Maya a bright light of positivity and laughter during covid night grinding and a cracked filling, but her procedure and knowledge was top notch. Both Dr Maya and Natalie were kind and considerate to my concerns and fears, I really felt like I had cheerleaders throughout my entire process. Who knew going to the dentist could be hanging out with some smart, funny, hardworking women who are also fixing your mouth to make u feel good???!!! We love this for her (my mouth)

I highly recommend Midtown Cosmetic Dental practice. The office space if very clean and they are taking COVID-19 precautions seriously. Everyone is incredibly helpful. Lin at the front desk and the doctors work very hard to make it the best experience for you. Also, highly recommend Dr. Maya, she is very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been twice to Midtown in the past year to see Dr. Maya Deshmukh and both times have been great experiences. I left my cleanings feeling SUPER clean... more than many other previous dentistry visits that I felt were sub par. Also my cavity fillings were super easy experiences that were quick and comfortable.

Ive had four dentists since the age 5 and now being in my mid 20s can say that Dr. Jacob is hands down the best dentist I have ever had. She runs a very smooth and organized operation. Her staff members (particularly Maria) are incredibly professional and is always on top of me to make sure Im getting my check ups done on time. Dr. Jacob also was very helpful with my Invisalign trays, which I originally had with my prior dentist and since transferred over under Dr. Jacobs.

Dr.Jacobs was more than accommodating and gentle; she kept me in the loop during the entire treatment. She goes above and beyond both in terms of managing her office and her performance as a dentist. She was very patient with me, and she took the time to explain everything she was doing during the procedure. Overall, the office is modern, sleek, and clean. The staff was warm and welcoming as well.

The office is organized, clean, spacious, and bright.the receptionist was very welcoming. Only waited 5 minutes to be seen. Dr Jacob was very sweet And explained everything before she worked in my mouth. I didnt feel the injection at all and before I knew , the filling was done and despite the fact that it was a large filling and I was told I may have some post op pain I was fine after the numbing was gone. I highly recommend Dr Jacob and her office . I had a great experience.

I took my 3 kids (4,6,8) and myself to Dr. Jacob and couldnt have asked for a better experience. Dr. Jacob was so thorough and so compassionate and patient with my kids and we were in and out quick. Dr. Jacob is the best dentist I ever had. She is not only a professional but she also cares about your well being. Her self and her staff (Maria) are very helpful. They never pressure you into buy anything. They make every visit a pleasure. I got a special case for invisalign. Dr. Jacob did her research diligently to get me the best and the cheapest solution. She even sent me to a surgent for my teeth extractions which was quick and definitely the cheapest. She also gave me a affordable payment plan, worked through the insurance. I never liked going to the Dentist but here at Midtown Cosmetic Dental, you can always count on the welcoming staff. The entire experience is both professional and comfortable. Dr Jacob is knowledgeable and she recommends what is best for you, She doesnt do any unnecessary procedures other dentists do to ramp up the bill. (I have had a bad experience in the past). She politely let me know with each step what she would be doing for me. Truly deserves five stars!

5.0 star rating 7/20/2017I switched my dentist last year and could not have asked for a better one! Dr. Jacob is personable, friendly and her expertise is beyond what Ive experienced in the past. And what makes it even better is the fantastic location of her practice being in midtown, which is close to where I work and live as well. I have heard about very few dentists that provide weekend appointments so I can say that Dr. Jacob genuinely cares about her patients schedules and goes beyond her normal work week hours, especially in my case. My dental issues as well as my invasalign procedure (that Dr. Jacob recommended to me) has been taken care of with utmost detail and attention and I cannot be more confident of my new and shiny smile!

She also pointed out other problem areas that would need treatment in the future, and gave me excellent advice on Invisalign, which I am considering using.
