This place is absolutely amazing. I’m very fortunate to have found this place. I’ve tried other acupuncture places and none compare, not even close. I was recommended to come here by a friend who described her amazing experience and how well she recovered from a neck issue. I’m a former athlete. I came because of back and leg issues. Both were completely cured after about 3 acupuncture treatments and physical therapy for each. Dr Lee and his colleague were excellent and provided in-depth explanation of what was occurring, which helped tremendously as well. Every day I came I left feeling ten times better. Really nice people, the receptionist was kind and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Ive had acupuncture treatments for years but it has been some time due to the pandemic. My previous acupuncturist moved so I decided to try DH Acupuncture. Im so happy I did. I get chronic headaches and acupuncture has proven to be the only treatment that works long-term. Donghwan Lee certainly knows what he is doing and even though certain areas can be a little uncomfortable (as happens in areas that are in the most need of treatment) it was never painful. I definitely benefitted from my first two visits and I will be back for follow-up visits (in my experience a few visits really keep things in order and my headaches and pains at bay). Overall Im very, very happy with the treatments and experience at DH Acupuncture.

I love this office I have had neck pains, back pains and vertigo for years and Dr.Lee was the first doctor that was able to help me understand why I am having these issues. His techniques have had a huge impact on my body and overall health. I am not going to lie, after my first session with him I went to another acupuncture facility and immediately realized that I was not getting the same care that I loved receiving at Dr.Lees office, Dr.Lee is personable and is great at customizing our sessions for my specific needs. I came here with sciatic pain and shoulder pain and Dr. Lee was really attentive and focused in those areas. I never did acupuncture before and I was curious about it. We did acupuncture, acu-massage and cupping which was beneficial and I left the session feeling tired but pain-free. I will be coming back to continue my treatment and I HIGHLY recommend it. They dont kill the wallet and are accommodating.

Dr.Lee is very attentive. I have been coming in 2x a week for about 3 weeks and already have not had a migraine since. The staff is very nice and communicative. I will definitely keep going because it is working. The doctor always asks what has changed- gotten worse or better. He caters each session to what I have told him. This is the best place Ive been to where Ive received recovery and healing treatment. The staff here are extremely welcoming and professional. Nice and simply environment. The staff is really nice and very welcoming. Dr. Lee’s treatment is very precise and seems to understand the patient conditions and how it refers to the body. He ask thorough questions in hope of providing the best treatments possible. I have a spinal condition where my left leg has been going numb of late. But Doctor lee session has such Precision in his work that it can better your symptoms and move forward!

This was my first time trying acupuncture, acupressure or cupping. I had a knot in my back that was bothering me for a week. Dr. Lee was very attentive and alleviated my pain. Was having terrible back pain and went to see Dr. Lee. Selected him based off good reviews and proximity to work and home. Had a great experience. Clean office, knowledgeable staff, service was great. Dr. Lee explained where he was going to place the needles, he had infrared heat lamps, it released some of the tension after the first session, still tbd on the full recovery but feeling much better than when I went in. The service included a mini massage which was lovely. Looking forward to my next session.

Ive been getting treatments 1-2 times a week for about a month here now. I have found every appointment at this clinic thorough and relaxing. The clinic offers various treatments: cupping, massage and acupuncture. The space is always clean and comfortable, appointments prompt and smooth and the instruments well sterilized. I feel like my input and feedback are key to my treatment, really appreciate how my areas of concern are prioritized. Easy communication/scheduling with the office via texting.

I cannot tell how much I love this place. I have had a lot of pain on my injured knee for two years but Dr. Lee cured my knee. Dr. Lee is very thorough, attentive and caring. Every time I go there, I feel like I have been well taken care of. It is not easy to find a good acupuncturist in the city and I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Lee.

Came in with a very sharp pain in my upper back and very tight muscles. With a combo of acupuncture, cupping, and acupressure massage I left feeling amazing and relaxed as can be. This was my first time using acupuncture. For years I have had bouts of sciatic pain. This time it was severe for five weeks, and I was in great distress. After the first session I had significant relief immediately. After 3 sessions I’m having long-lasting relief. I’m happy I chose Dr. Lee and grateful for his skills. I am so impressed I will probably see him again and again for overall health. Also, he and his staff are very kind and courteous, and the office is clean and professional.

I visited Dr. Lees Clinic towards the end of this spring with a rather severe reaction to the seasonal allergy.Id been suffering from seasonal allergy ever since I moved to the city in 2010. The usual symptoms of constant sneezing, watery/itchy eyes, nasal congestion; I had it all. Every spring and fall.It was more or less bearable and treatable with over-the-counter allergy medicine, but for some reason, it really kicked up a notch this year.I had to do something drastic about it and acupuncture was something I was willing to try.Even though I am from Asia, Id never been a big fan of alternative medicine and, not to mention, any procedure involving sharp needles.So... i walked in with a bit of skepticism and fear, but i was pretty desperate at that stage.My procedure started with a consultation followed by some acupuncture around my face and legs.According to Dr. Lee, the goal of acupuncture was to bring down the heat accumulated around the upper half of the body and hence reducing the sensitivity towards the allergens.Anyways... the acupuncture portion of the treatment was not painless, but at the same time bearable. It took about 30-40 min total.Dr. Lee also noted before the treatment that I may suffer from a light flu-like symptoms and i did for 1-2 days almost immediately following the treatment. Cold sweats and chills.I was also prescribed with a month-long, twice a day herbal medicine regimen and I bear through it all. Herbal medicine came in a liquid form in a small pouch sized sealed pack and its a bit of an acquired taste kinda thing. Personally, Im not a big fan of the taste but again I wanted to get better.As for the results, my typical allergy symptoms, especially the severe congestion, went away rather quickly within a few days of the treatment.I want to believe that it was entirely due to the treatment, but at the same time, we were approaching the end of spring... so I will leave that up to whoever is reading this to decide. What i can say for sure is that I certainly felt better soon after the initial treatment.Heres what really surprised me though and what prompted me to write this review. I am also allergic to dog and cat dander and i just came back from a 3 day trip with a family who brought their cats with no knowledge of my condition. After a long weekend with 2 cats, I can honestly report that i almost had no reaction throughout the trip and I wonder if Dr.Lees treatment had some parallel effects on my other allergies. I am now genuinely excited to see how my body reacts to allergens this coming fall. i am quite optimistic.Dr.Lee and his staff (masseuse) were very professional and they made me feel at ease throughout the treatment.It takes extra commitment to try something different, but I would highly recommend any allergy patient to try acupuncture treatment at Dr.Lees clinic.

I love this place and it is one of the best acupuncture treatments I got. I’ve been to a lot of acupuncture places in Asia and around the world, and I had one of the most amazing experience. I have severe back and neck pain and I visit here whenever I have time. The price is unbelievable reasonable compared to other places and massage is included as well, which I have never seen a complimentary massage in other acupuncture place! The doctor gives the most suitable treatment for me every time; I get very strong level of acupuncture and never had any treatment that really caught my pain like this place. I highly recommend! I would be surprised to find an acupuncture place with this quality in such reasonable price.

Highly recommend! Dr.Lee is personable and excellent in what he does. I saw him for eczema and after seeing him my condition has been improving since. Grace, who is the assistant, is very pleasant to talk to as well. They care about your need and take a very personable approach in their diagnosis. Was only in the city for a week, but stopped in to DH acupuncture for neck and shoulder pain relief. I had been wanting to try acupuncture for a while, and this was a very comforting and positive first experience for both acupuncture and cupping. I waited only a few minutes for my appointment at DH Acupuncture. This was my first time receiving acupuncture. I enjoyed talking through my medical history with Jane and then a further consultation with Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee thoroughly looked over the form I had filled out and I felt like he was really thinking of the best way to initiate the treatment. He not only did my back and neck, but the front of my body as well, followed by a complimentary massage, and then cupping! Speaking with Jane about my fathers medical issues as well, was like a breath of fresh air! I had some lovely herbal tea upon leaving the appt and look forward to my next. Im a bit sore from the cupping (to be expected), but my neck and back feel great, even after sitting at my desk all day.

I sprained my wrist and went to see Dr. Lee for acupuncture. Clinic was located on a tranquil, tree-lined street, and the ambience was inviting and soothing.Dr. Lee was attentive throughout the session, kindly giving detailed explanation on my health condition overall as well as on what to do and what not to do. I noticed the pain was mostly gone after the first session. The post-treatment red ginseng tea was very good, too.

I had a major shoulder/back pain after giving birth to my second child, but after couple of sessions, the pain is almost gone. I was suffering from chronic migraine for a few years. I’ve done everything I could but could not find any effective treatments besides painkillers. Last week I got this severe headache again together with uncomfortable eyes. Even painkillers did not help. I was so desperate and miserable, so I decided to try acupuncture for the first time. It turned out to be a miracle. Dr Lee and his staff were very nice and explained the root cause of the headache and uncomfortable eyes from Chinese medicine’s perspective. After the treatment, I felt immediate relief on my left side head and the pain on the right side was gone in two hours. I would recommend Dr Lee to anyone who is suffering from migraine!

DR Donghwan Lee is exceptional in healing with his method of acupuncture and use of herbs.I had an infection in my prostate and back from dental work.Conventional medicine gave me short an antibiotic but after 2 months and 2 bottles the pain and discomfort reamained.After my first acupuncture treatment it was shocking the 2 hours later the pain was mitigated to 50%.Now I drink a heated back of herbs twice a day a acupuncture once a week.The results are astonishing each feel tremendous improvement.I would recommend anyone to the clean,hospitable office of Dr Lee and the lovely receptionist Grace that makes you feel at home and loved with her spirit of gentleness and concern for the patient.i will be forever grateful for what Dr Lee and Grace have done for me.

Hands down not only the best acupuncturist in the city but one of the best Dr.s I have ever been to. I work in the fitness industry and am anavid athlete. For about 6 months I was dealing with a hip flexor strain and tried physical therapy multiple times with few results. After just 4 sessions With Dr. Lee my hips as well as the rest of my body feel better than ever.

I scheduled an appointment online on a Saturday morning for a Saturday afternoon session. Dr. Lee was thorough in his assessment of my concerns. I felt great leaving the office and look forward to going back this week for more treatment.

I had a severe psoriasis and one of my friends recommended Dr. Lee.After taking the herb medicine for 2 weeks, my condition got much better, and I just got another batch so I can continue to take it for the next 3 weeks. I went to so many different dermatologists (including so called psoriasis experts) to get treatment, but all they focused on was superficial treatment of skin using steroids.My overall health got much better in addition to psoriasis, and I highly recommend Dr.Lee for wholistic improvement of health.

I had never been to an acupuncturist but decided to try it out after a friend of mine recommended that I go to treat chronic pain and fatigue. I had been suffering from pain related to chronic fatigue syndrome, non stop/irregular menstrual cycles, difficulty losing weight and sleep disturbances. I felt relieved almost instantly!! The pain I felt in my neck, shoulders and back were gone after my first session. I am attending my third session this week and can say that I am havent been bleeding for the past couple of weeks, I have lost 6 pounds and am sleeping so much better. It was a very bad experience for me, Jane is very mean,, inconsiderate, unprofessional and rude receptionist. Dr. Lee looks like a good doctor, but lack of English prevents even simple communication.

I havent been able to play any sports for years do to torn meniscus in my knees but after ten sessions with Dr. Lee ; on July 4th I went to play racquet ball with my sister and family and after a couple of serve I forgot about my bad knees and play for about 2 1/2 hours with no problems, cant wait for the next weekend.
