Needed a rapid Covid 19 test for a cruise & LCMC Health Urgent Care was able to do this. Arrived for the appointment a little bit early and LCMC was able to get me right in. The staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this facility for your medical needs.

Everyone was so nice in helping me take care of my shoulder contusion. They were so caring and helpful in taking care of my needs and prescribing the right medicine. Out of all the urgent cares, they were the nicest and most caring. The facility was nice and upscale. If I ever have to return (hopefully not) but I will definitely return there. I recommend to everyone!

The people here are lovely. But all i needed was a referral to a dermatologist. I had to pay $65 for that referral—I also received a bandaid. The medical system does not allow me to just go see the dermatologist. Instead I have to pay someone who then lets me go see the doctor whom I will have to pay as well.

After arriving at the clinic, I may have waited 10 minutes before I was taken to a treatment room. The doctor came in right after my vitals were taken, introduced himself and asked me to explain my reason for coming in. He then examined me and gave me a diagnosis. He explained the problem and gave me detailed written explanations and instructions. I picked up a prescription on my way home and felt relief within 20 minutes after taking the medicine. The staff was friendly and courteous from beginning to end. This was my first visit there, but I will drive completely across town for a return visit if I ever need to again and will recommend it to anyone that I love.

The doctor and nurse were good. But the reception was rude and mean. She threw my credit card at me and wouldnt give me back my receipt. Granted I was frazzled from my condition; but if youre in Healthcare, one would expect that youll keep level-headed from patients in pain.

I came in with a Sinus infection. I was given a Steroid shot. Some relief was felt after a few minutes. The doctor was very pleasant along with all of the medical staff that interacted with me. I will definitely come again even though I live on the Westbank.

I called and advance to attempt to set an appointment and I was told there was no need to set up an appointment for the service I needed and to just come walk in. I approach the window where the woman checking people in does not greet me, has an attitude when I ask questions and tell her she misspelled my name. The wait was long, there was about 6 people that came in after me received service before me so I started searching for other places to service my needs but I was eventually called. I won’t return ever because this facility lacks clinical manners.

I was referred to the Lakeview location for a Non-urgent physical. The staff was very professional and friendly. I did not pass the first time and was given clear instructions on the next steps. The front desk host had the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered. No control over the lobby/waiting room, blaring iPads and screaming children, and people moving the social distancing signs to sit in chairs that were “off limits”, absolute embarrassment. Miserable.

I have been lucky enough to take advantage of LCMC Health Urgent Care on Harrison Ave. since the opened under a different name shortly after Katrina. The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. I no longer live in Lakeview, but I still count on Dr. Dennis and the rest of the group for the best care around.

Staff and Dr. Mary were extremely caring and helpful. We were taken in quickly and the Doctor and staff were attentive and went above and beyond with our care.

Very nice staff. During covid they had you come in and sign in. Fill out your paperwork and they’d call/text you when to come in. Now it’s back to normal. This is my second time going there. I went for a pre employment both times.

Do not go here. I made an appointment the night before with all my information. I go there and wait over an hour to be seen. The front desk worker didnt even take my information until after they do the work. Only to find out they dont take my insurance. Then I have to pay over 150 bucks. Would have been nice to know that before. The lady at the front desk should be ashamed of herself for not doing her job. They freaking scammed me.

My visit to this urgent care could not have been better. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable and make sure I had everything I needed. I had to go pick up a pair of crutches the next day, and the nurse even called me in the morning to check in and make sure that I would be able to get them. They were also pretty quick to get me in and out!

The staff was super friendly, patient and informative. Took my mother in for a UTI. They were so kind and thoughtful with her. I live Uptown but always make the drive over to this Urgent Care for the good service.

I went in as a walk in with swollen tonsils, fever, body aches and chills at 9:50 am. I checked in when they said they were taking walk ins. And waited 3 hrs to be seen. Afraid to lose my spot in line able to have to start over again at another location I waited. I repeatedly checked in via phone as the location doesn’t have an accessible waiting room but ask their patients to wait outside in their car. I called begging to be seen... and continued to wait. When I was finally called it was over 3 hrs later and I had a fever of 102.7, visibly crying, shaking... dehydrated and the receptionist treated me as if I was less than human because she had to answer every one of my calls. This was a horrific experience. I had no infections or viral infection just tonsils completely inflamed. If I couldn’t be seen after disclosing my symptoms I should’ve been turned away.

The staff there was so attentive and professional. I would highly recommend the urgent care facility. They did not rush me in and out. They were very thoughtful and caring.

You have lots of room for improvement. Aside from the wonderful doctor, little worked regarding my visit. Your telehealth system doesnt work very well. I recommend you go back to the white board and start from scratch.

Its really almost too good to be true. Nestled on the quiet tree lined street, in a quaint neighborhood with coffee houses and restaurants, the facility is a dream come true. Only one other patient was waiting to be seen. The staff was welcoming and fun, and Dr. Mary was wonderful. I was treated quickly and feel better, and the experience was the nicest Ive ever felt going to a doctor.

I came in to get a simple check up and I was having issues I told the doctor the issues that I was having and he really did not look at me he did not give me an examination he also just asked me a few questions and sent me on my way with everything going on and being a black woman I felt like My I’ll me y was disregarded. He basically wrote the prescription and sent it to my local pharmacy and see me on my way without even checking me to see like if there was other problems or anything

I had a friend that got treated like garbage there. They prescribed her medicine that she couldnt afford and laughed in her face when she asked for cheaper medicine. Very classist.

I am there frequently due to asthma flare ups!!!! Everyone is wonderful especially Drs. Mary and Dennis. Have been treated by Dr.Mary several times lately and he has awesome bedside manners. Love being comfortable in his presence. THANKS TO ALL!

Went there for a minor illness. Staff checking patients in were very friendly. The medical assistant that checked me was great. Dr. Charles Mary was very professional and had a great bedside manner. The whole process was smooth and efficient. Definitely a good experience which is surprising as most trips to the urgent care are frustrating.

Came in for Covid test. Called and they said we could walk in. All in all, less than 20 minutes, and they called and emailed us the results 25 minutes later.

I went in to get my lower half examined, and the doctors were very nice. But, they prescribed me medicine that costed over $900. I am poor; which they knew because my insurance is Medicaid. I called to get a different prescription, and they laughed in my face and offered me $300 pills.

I dont like going to the doctor but the staff at Urgent Care Lakeview are very welcoming. They are very efficient and they were on time with my appointment. KELSEY the LPN that assisted me was so sweet and she took the time to explain each procedure. Keep up the good work

I liked them for a really long time, until I had issues with my digestive system that they found hilarious. Made me feel very uncomfortable and insecure about myself. They’re supposed to be healers and they laughed in my face while I was in pain.

No reminder the day before, original receipt didnt even include my appointment date. No address for the destination. Awful front desk service with a lady that clearly didnt care about my health. Took 2 weeks to schedule an appointment with them when I show up a few minutes late they were unable to fill my appointment after I called in advance to ensure I would still be seen. When I was told my appointment would be rescheduled I was given a date 2 and a half weeks away from the current date. Horrible customer service all around.

Visited the Lakeview location on Sunday in horrible pain from an abscess. I had a follow-up days later and my experience was just as welcoming as the first time. The system that they have in place for COVID-19 totally works (online check) and made me feel low risk. The staff was pleasant and helpful! And the facility was very well kept and clean! The lady that answered the phone on Wednesday, told me to go somewhere else they were too busy and it was only 3pm when I called for an appointment or to walk in. I always visit this site, i was highly offended. I was very nauseated. I will never go there again. She asked me my name of my insurance, pulled up my insurance and told me to go somewhere else. I think she was racially motivated, however with my insurance i can go anywhere, in which i did. So have a nice day LCMC. Oschner was so much better!

Quick and painless. What a lovely staff! Dr. Dennis gets right to the point. I had a near fainting spell in the office as a result of my Covid test coupling with my anemia. The nurses did everything to get me comfortable and back up and on my way. No complaints here.

I made an appointment and was in and out in under 15 minutes! I was able to wait in my car and the nurse called me in when it was my appointment time. The only thing that I didn’t like was that when I got to my room, the paper covering on the patient chair hadn’t been changed from the person before me. It didn’t bother me too much because I wasn’t asked to sit there and the nurse immediately apologized and replaced it. The staff was friendly and organized and the doctor was concise. I’d go again with an appointment.

I went yesterday to get a coronavirus test.On the website does not say you have to call in advance or you have to make an appointment.When I got there I asked reception about the coronavirus test ,she told me that I have to make an appointment.I told her i came from Harvey Louisiana , so I drove about 40 minutes to get to you and it does not say you have to make an appointment. and then she said OK wait time is two hours to do it . And then I told her can I talk to your supervisor .she said OK I will get them for you when she called her supervisor I found out it was a doctor all the medical doctor director in urgent care medical . His name is Patrick Dennis . So he came and Start screaming at me and cursing me and told me there’s no treatment for your here we’re not an emergency room and get out of my clinic .I told him why are you screaming at me sir I’m trying to be nice and I’ll try and get a treatment here he said he don’t want I will call the cops for you and then he did call the cops for me.I waited until the cops came and I told them what happened.I was shocked the way the doctors are treating and talking and present them himself as a doctor in State of Louisiana. He was acting like a gangster not a doctor

I wanted to get tested for COVID. I made the appointment and registered online. It was very easy. I arrived on time called the number, they answered right away, verified it was me and asked me to wait in my car until the nurse was ready. Not even 2 minutes later she called, I walked right in, she took my blood pressure, asked a series of questions and did the swab, painlessly! About 10 minutes later she came in with results, I talked to dr and walked out. They were very efficient, polite and knowledgeable. It was a very nice dr visit!

I was seen and evaluated quickly. The entire staff was professional and kind. Unfortunately, they are unable to do blood work, which I needed. However, they referred me to an ER with a pass to be seen immediately, which I was.

Went there to get healed of my sickness. I wasn’t taken seriously. They laughed in my face when I said I needed medicine for my digestive system. They didn’t even try to find medicine that is covered by my insurance.
