Everyone was very nice and knew what they were doing. They were very nice and very polite. They were very knowledgeable about their jobs so they could answer all my questions. I would tell everyone that this would be the place to go get help for their health care. I dont think they would be disappointed in the service they get.

Dr. Lewis in pediatric Orthopedics was absolutely wonderful and very thorough. Technician John Delose was also amazing while putting on my daughter’s cast. As we were leaving, she even commented that he was really nice and she liked him. Ochsner Childrens has always created a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for me and my daughter. We will continue to use Ochsner for our family’s medical care

I have always heard great things about Ochsner and we have experienced that same greatness! Everyone on the hospital staff have been so nice, friendly, and accommodating! The resident doctors really listen and are trying to help my son get better. We did have an issue with a GI doctor at an Ochsner clinic, but thankfully she and her team signed off from his care on Day 2 of our hospital stay. The hospital staff have more than made up for our bad experience with the clinic doctor!

Dr. Kefla Brown is the best eye doctor I have ever seen around. She cares. She gets the job done.

Dr. Pringle was so amazing with my son. She made both my son and me feel at ease of a very difficult (for him) situation. I highly recommend her. I can not thank her enough.

PA-C Raven Lewis in Orthopedics is fabulous! She’s patient and answers all questions completely. I wish every caregiver was this special.

The facility is really nice and I didnt have to wait to see the doctors. The staff were all friendly and the doctor was great.

Family member there for surgery last week of July. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, but COVID is raging here and even some nurses were not wearing masks!!!! They had them hanging down or below their nose. They need to have someone walk around and write these people up or fine them or something to get them on board.

Dr. Brown and her staff are amazing. I go the extra mile to make sure their patients are comfortable and well-informed.

I am an adult genetics patient. The facility was reasonably easy to access and had adequate accessible parking. The nurses and medical assistants were patient and explained the appointment process to me well. The genetic counselor was a great listener, and Dr. Niyazov diagnosed a condition I’ve been living with and seeking help for over the last 28 years in less than half an hour. I barely had to wait in the exam room. A great team of medical professionals.

Dr. Brown is my absolute favorite doctor for my daughter. She is so awesome with the kids. The other associate who does some of the eye tests and the other staff are also awesome. They always make my daughter feel comfortable. The facility is great. The front check in had all of my information and my check in only took a couple of minutes.

Dr. Kantrow is AMAZING! He has been the pediatrician for all 4 of my kids (the eldest will be 16 in December this year and the youngest was a preemie whom just turned 1 in January). I absolutely love the care and concern that is given at every single visit! Even when Ive had to schedule appointments on the spot and had to see other doctors, they ALWAYS make sure I leave out with a clear heart and mind that my child/children will be just fine! I love Ochsner for Kids and the entire Ochsner family (because they take care of my mother as well)

Our visit was awesome. The clinic was very clean and visit were scheduled so that tje waiting area was not overly crowded. We were greeted as we walked off the elevator. The staff was kind and caring and interacted with my daughter as a person not a chart or medical records I.d. number. The healthcare provider took time to talk to her to her to make sure she was comfortable before beginning. We will definitely continue care at this clinic! Thanks for being so kind and welcoming!

All of the MDs and providers we have seen (for my Daughter and my Husband) at Oschner’s have been wonderful (Dr. Allain, Dr. Mironovici, Dr. Haber and L. Daigle, NP). They sat us down and explained everything and how they were going to treat them both and made it very easy to understand. It was wonderful. Definitely would recommend them to anyone seeking a specialist for their children).

I really hate this hospital. They do not keep you updated on anything! When I call to ask one simple answer about how many visitors can see a patient I was transferred 4 times. This hospital is ridiculous. There are some nurses that are great but overall I hate this hospital. So unprofessional.

Dr Kantrow is absolutely the best. You never feel rushed at his appts and he listens and answers all questions. He truly is invested. God truly put us in the right hands.

I live Nurse Neeley. She always goes above and beyond with my daughter’s care. I’m a FTM and she makes sure to explain every part of my daughters health care.

We have been with Dr. Sanderson since my son was born 6 years ago. He is so amazing! My kids love him. You just know he loves all of his patients. We have seen other doctors in this clinic when ours wasnt available and they all have a caring spirit and love for children. Let me not forget the amazing nurses who talk your babies through all the bumps and scrapes and all the shots.A+ clinic!!!!

Dr Kantrow is amazing- this was our first visit sith him since our former pediatrician retired and we could not be more pleased.

I love this place. Never have to wait, there are a lot of great pediatricians there and my kids get the proper treatment. If I have a question I can email the doctor and get response really fast.

We will no longer be using Ochsner because we are moving out of state. As a whole, we were pretty satisfied with all of her specialist except for one doctor.Also, my daughter was in the hospital for a month in August of 2020 and the staff on the pediatric floor left a lot to be desired. They were rough, mean, and negligent. I told them everyday that my daughter can’t be left flat on her back that long, it will create a pressure sore and they kept ignoring me until I noticed the pressure sore and made a big scene. Then, all of a sudden they listened. These are trained medical staff and this should have never happened. Today is May 13 and we are still fighting that same pressure sore thanks to your hospital staff.Sorry, you did ask.

We had a virtual visit. The connection was spotty, so the doctor hung up and called us back. Not too long after, my phone died. I tried to call back. The doctor called me back again. I felt my daughter and I were very cared for and given the time of day. All of my questions, important and trivial, were satisfactorily answered. He was thorough and very kind. Pleased with the experience!

Dr. Kefla Brown is an amazing Optometrist. She has taken care of both my daughters and my eye care for as long as I can remember. She always goes above and beyond. We look forward to our visits with her. Dr. Brown assures all of our concerns are addressed and we never feel rushed out our appointments.

My daughter temporarily lost her sight while getting ready for school. We rushed to West Jefferson where my concerns were dismissed, and I had to insist on a CT Scan. I was told to expect a call in two days for her to be scheduled to see an Ophthalmologist whose first availability is some time in May. I was not pleased and left the hospital with no answers.Once home, I called Ochsner to get a second opinion. The agent who took my call was empathetic and showed genuine concern for my state of mind and my daughter’s health. Within an hour, I was scheduled for a same day appointment to see Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown and the staff were perfect! Svenya welcomed us and maintained a great energy and level of concern for my daughter. Dr. Brown is probably the best doctor weve had ever! She was engaging, personable and relatable. She answered all of my questions and provided guidance that allowed me to leave the office with peace. All I wanted was to be given some idea as to what happened to my daughter. West Jeff wouldnt give me that. Our visit with Dr. Brown was the complete opposite, and I am so glad that I decided to call.

Ashley Dimitri, NP is the most incredible medical provider. If she doesn’t have an answer or solution she finds one. You can see she truly loves her job. She always takes the time out to make sure my son feels like she cares!

We could not have been more pleased with our orthopedic Anna Strahan, NP and her nurse. They were thorough and patient. They took the time to answer all of our questions, we left our appointment feeling comfortable with our treatment plan and confident our daughter was in great hands. We are from Mississippi and chose Ochsners Childrens after lots of research, we definitely made the right decision bringing her there.

The pediatrics department is amazing! Very detailed when delivering information and meticulous when asking questions.

NP Neely is always great with my boys. They trust her and feel comfortable with her. Her level of care is what made my choice easy to make being my boys primary care giver.

I’m very disappointed in Ochsner Health Center for Children. The so called healthcare professional I dealt with twisted my words around to lower the evaluation score of my child. Again, I’m very disappointed in this facility and I won’t bring my child here again.

Brought my baby to see ortho and they were absolutely great. The staff was so nice and helpful.

The staff was very accommodating. When I arrived at the front desk, the registrar, Marleasa, couldnt find my daughter on the schedule. We realized that I had accidentally made the appointment for the following Monday. My daughter had a broken arm and needed to be seen that day. Marleasa went above and beyond to speak with Colleen Story and the staff in the Ortho clinic to squeeze her in. I was so appreciative for her efforts! Please tell her thank you 😊

My first visit to Oshner Peds Neuro and it was very EXCELLENT ! Receptionist welcomed with a smile, waiting was not long, the assistant was kind and very helpful and the doctor was kind patient and answered all my questions!

This place is a horrible place to work. While they do provide seemingly decent care, just know that behind the scenes it is unsafe and behind the times in precautions. Your likelihood of going home with an infection or retained instrument after surgery is much higher than you may think or like. The environment is toxic. The culture is horrible. They only care about how they look in the public eye with not much actual innovation or care going on behind the scenes. Consider other facilities for your care and the care of your loved ones.

Stay away from this hospital! One of the worst! They took my child 6 hours away from me to a place I did not consent to. It will take me 12 hours total to go get my child and bring her back home. Absolutely heartless and they just made the situation worse. I will never come to this place and I will make sure to call corporate and whoever else I need to call to let them know about how horrible this place is.

The Ochsner Pediatric Clinic and Dr. Lawrence Haber M.D. were exceptional! The check in clerks (and manager standing out front greeting) were incredibly friendly and helpful. The same day surgery department staff also did a great job.Dr. Haber did a wonderful job taking care of my son from beginning to end. He spent time with us to make the diagnosis and explained things every step of the way.

Ochsner Health Center for Children have been taking care of my daughter for years. The staff is truly amazing. Everyone goes above and beyond. The doctors make sure you understand whats going on with your child, make sure your okay with whats going, and if you have any questions. I am always able to reach her doctors anytime. The response time is amazing. It really helps that all of her doctors are in touch with each other.

We got our last minute appointment scheduled quickly. The follow-up testing was also scheduled and done quickly. All staff were professional and friendly. There are frequent opportunities to report your experience.

The staff here are outstanding!!! The nurses, doctors, therapists all worked as a team to get my precious dad through a stroke. Special thanks to Nurse Georgina for her patience, knowledge and sincere empathy and support through my family’s difficult time.

Pediatric Cardiology department is well organized. They are on-time with appointments. Doctor Lucas and his staff make all information easy to understand and answer all my questions. My daughter has been a patient for 12 years and we feel well taken care of.

Our 4 year olds visit was focused and thorough. Dr. Peterson explained things to her in a way she could understand, putting her at ease right away. She did such a good job of explaining to her the benefits of her shots that she even THANKED the nurse for giving them to her!

My son was recently seen by Dr. Story with pediatric orthopedic. She was wonderful! Connects so well with the child and parent. Facility was easy to get to and office was easy to find. Staff was also very friendly.

Ochsner Childrens is AWESOME!!! This is only our second time there and my son and I love it. He has to visit the hospital every 8 weeks for treatment and this is the first time hes actually reminded me about it. He was a patient at another area hospital, and being that children are their specialty, it was the worst experience ever. We are thankful to our doctor for moving, and thankful for one of his new nurses, (all of them really), but especially nurse Michelle, who sang and danced the happy birthday song to him. They TOTALLY ROCK!!!!

Dr. Brown is an amazing ophthalmologist. She went out of her way to be kind and funny while being incredibly thorough. I’m sorry that I can’t remember her nurse’s name, but she was equally as wonderful. Excellent experience.

Being at Ochsner Hospital For 3weeks was very nice. The staff, doctors and everyone that works there are very helpful I want to thank everyone for my son and I stay I really appreciate how they cared for my son. They do whatever they have to do for there patience.

They didnt have a heart monitor to fit my son because he needs an adult size, they didnt offer to locate it or help me locate one. But the doctor was nice, knowledgeable and took time to explain things to me.

Our 4month old baby boy Kal, was diagnosed with Cor Triatrium, a very rare heart defect.For his surgery, our cardiologist at Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, highly recommended Dr. Peeler and his team at Ochsner in New Orleans.No words can express how thankful we are to them for saving our baby’s life!!!They were very professional, knowledgeable, patient, organized , sweet and very helpful.The surgery was scheduled within a month.Everything was on time during the process and every 30/45 minutes Missy would inform us how the surgery was going. It ended up being more complicated than expected but Dr. Peeler and his team were able to perform as planned and fix our baby’s heart.Our son was able to recover very quickly under the close supervision of the nurses in the Ochsner PICU. Wait time is always minimal and the facility is always immaculate. They also have a literacy program where your child receives a free book with every well visit.

Horrible experience here. Drove an hour and a half into a 2 hour drive and my gps announced an accident adding a 24 min delay. I called to let them know I’d be late and took screen shots as proof and they refused to accept us. Dr Aflec and staff Denise, could have been a little more lenient considering the distance we had to drive. My son and I ended up doing 4 hours in the car for nothing!

We love our providers at ochsner pediatrics. We have seen different pediatricians and NPs when our primary pediatrician is not available. We have had positive experiences with all of them. We have also never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen. The receptionists are also always helpful and efficient.

Dr. Brown is an AWESOME Dr. she goes out of her way to make the visit comfortable and fun for the kids.
