Dr. Born and her staff are amazing! What a (not overly, in an obnoxious way) friendly, non-stress medical environment. I typically avoid going to the doctor if I can, but I actually left the appointment in a good mood, which never happens! I was seen on time, I was listened to, and had x-rays and blood work done immediately, on-site. I even gave Dr. Borns card to someone I know who was looking for a new PCP! Great experience.

I can’t say enough about Dr Born and her nurse Freed and Cassie. They are wonderful and really take the time to listen to your concerns. Their bedside manner is top notch and they make you feel so comfortable.

I had a concern with my health, especially my lower lip continually swelling and accidentally biting into it. I could not eat without injuring it. This was not a normal occurrence, but was not going away. It is still an issue. Also, I had a couple of other concerns. With no suggestion to solve my issue---I was disappointed and understood that my time and the doctors time was wasted.

First time meeting with Dr.Childs and it was the most pleasant experience I have had at any Dr. Office. He was cordial, helpful and very welcoming.

Excellent new patient visit. Nurse Freed took my vitals and asked the standard questions. Dr. Born came into the examining room within minutes. Both of them were very professional, courteous, and thorough. The visit was over very quickly. I look forward to a long relationship with this practice.

First off, absolutely love Dr. Cobb. 5 stars for him and majority of the staff as I’ve been here for 10 years. Pretty disappointed in the way Dr. Born and the office manager (Amanda I believe) have treated my wife. I even called to try and resolve this and received some pretty childish explanations for dismissing my wife from the practice. That is unprofessional and counterproductive to caring and helping patients.

I called just now to figure out how to pay them the money they said was due today, and they answered and said Hi how can I help you? So I tried to explain what I needed and I was quickly cut off with an agitated Maam! Maam! Were closed right now. Call us back Monday. And I was promptly hung up on. Very unprofessional and rude.

TriStar Medical Group, in particular Dr. Adam Childs, has been a blessing. I had gone a very long time between doctors visits and spent the majority of my adult life without a PCP. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with this group and have regular visits to keep me healthy for my family. The visits are thorough and they dont leave you in the waiting area all day. When you have an appointment time, they make sure youre seen in a timely manner. I recommend this practice to anyone in the area.

I am new to the TriStar family, and their first impression was good across the entire board.Each staff member I encountered was friendly and professional and Dr. Cobb has your best interest in mind. I’m happy with my choice to trust TriStar Medical Group with my health.Updated to add:Months later after my initial post above, I encountered a medical emergency that with Dr. Cobb’s knowledge, quick response and thorough follow up, I survived. He was calm, kept me calm and assured me I would be taken care of and not to worry. Dr. Peter Cobb is there for YOU, no matter what your health spontaneously throws your way.

The Dr was nice so was the staff. But, I had to wait about 45 mins before I was taken back. But, once I was taken back the process was fast and easy.

Dr. Childs is one of the best PCPs I have ever seen. He is so caring and thorough. I recommend him to anyone looking for a caring doctor with a very friendly personality.

My first visit to the TriStar Medical Group, where Dr. Child’s has his practice, went very well. I arrived early to complete the necessary paperwork. The administrative staff is very courteous and willing to help.Having completed many medical forms, I do think it’s time the forms are updated for readability and adequate writing space. No repeat of information already provided in a previous space. Just check a box that says ‘See Above’.I think the lighting in the waiting room could be brightened during morning hours. Seeing small print on the forms would be easier. That being said, the waiting area is comfortable and clean.The medical staff is courteous and professional. Medical history was reviewed followed by discussion of any medical concerns.Final stop was the Lab area. The lab techs are also courteous and professional.Overall, an excellent visit. I’m feeling quite comfortable about choosing Dr.Childs and this TriStar Family for my medical needs.

Today was the 3rd time I’ve shown up to my scheduled appointment 10 mins EARLY only to be told 20 mins after my scheduled appointment when I went to ask how much longer because I needed to be able to get my son from school at 2:30 that they wouldn’t be able to see me until 2pm. So as a patient I will have my appointment cancelled if I’m late but it’s ok for the doctors to be almost an hour late seeing me? Completely unacceptable. I like Dr. Born but I can’t keep having this happen, I’ll be switching to another doctor.

Dr. Cobb and his nurse Amanda were WONDERFUL! They both took the time to listen to my needs and help any way they could. I would recommend them to anyone I know!

My wife and I both had Dr. Patterson for about the last year and a half. He and his staff were great....HOWEVER we were very disappointed with the very little notice we were given that he was leaving. We actually heard about it through the grapevine which is not the way you should hear about such things. We finally received official notification via a letter that we received shortly before Patterson left. We were able to transfer to Dr. Cobb who is great. My complaint is the short notice which seems to be a management shortcoming....not very professional. So the Drs and staff get 5 stars but whoever was in charge of the notification should be looking for another line of work.

Dr.Born is awesome. She listens to you, and makes sure youre all on the same page. She never makes the appointment feel rushed and she is always very cheery. Also, she has never made me wait long for my appointment either, which I know things happen, but I have always got in and out very timely.

First time appointment and new patient. Apparently I wrote down the wrong appointment time and was little late. They still took me, thank goodness. I was pleased with the nurse that assisted me. She was very nice and professional. Dr. Childs was very personable, knowledgeable, thorough. He addressed my concerns. I was given x-rays the same day, with a follow up call 2-3 days later with the results. We set a plan for my recovery the same day. Im pleased so far. Just hoping the physical therapy works for me.

My visit was for my semi-annual physical. There was a short wait time before entering after updating my information. The staff is polite and friendly. Doctor Childs is my physician. We discussed my questions with informative replies. Doctor Childs is well versed,, he answered and explained all of my questions with some recommendations. Doctor Childs also found the tip of my hearing aid in my ear. He tried several times with no success. Lois the nurse was able to flush the tip out after several tries. Thank you Lois! Overall it was a good experience.

Nurses and staff are very kind and professional! Doctor Child’s is extremely personable and eager to take care of your needs! I’ve had several issues since being in the army, and Doc has worked with me and provided outstanding care.

After several years of not having insurance, when I walked into this clinic, I had a laundry list of ailments to address. I was concerned that I would be judged as a hypochondriac, but instead, Dr. Born listened attentively and is helping me address each issue. The office staff has been helpful and friendly, which in my opinion, many offices are lacking these days! I gave 4 stars because I havent been a patient long enough to feel justified in giving more yet but I will update a later date.

I recently had an appointment with Dr Born regarding my high blood pressure after a visit to the ER, where I was told that I needed to find a Primary Care Doctor and take care of this immediately. Even though there were not any openings in her appointment schedule, her staff was able to schedule me to see her the next day during her normal lunchtime because of the severity of my situation. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also very understanding and helpful. Dr Born was very thorough with regards to the issues I was experiencing, asking questions and reviewing my past health issues. She went on to let me know the complications I could expect if I didn’t take care of this issue. She also educated me on changes I needed to make in my diet and lifestyle that would help get it back under control and to help prevent this from happening again. I was very impressed with her professionalism and concern, making sure that I understood the importance of taking better care of myself. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a great and caring Doctor. I feel 100% better and I’m confident that following her advice and receiving her treatment is the reason. Thank you Dr Born.

The staff and everyone is incredibly helpful and kind. They have fairly strict policies about time of arrival and cancellations, but it really helps ensure that each patient is not kept waiting and is for the best. I saw Dr. Cobb as a new patient and was able to get an appointment in about 3 weeks time, which I think is more than reasonable. He was attentive and spent a good amount of time with me asking questions. I encourage anyone in Murfreesboro, or nearby areas, who wishes to get a new PCP to look into this group of physicians.

Don’t bother! Went in as new patient 20 mins before my scheduled appointment and was told that the doctor wanted his patients there 30 minutes early and I would have to reschedule! It was my first appointment! I’m a new patient! If you want someone there 30 mins early then schedule their appointment at that time.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Childs! Have been his patient for several years now (since the practice opened on Medical Center) and have never had a more caring and compassionate physician. He takes the time to actually listen to you, fully, and is definitely invested in the health of his patients. He learns your history and offers the best solutions. He is also willing to help in finding a specialist if the situation arises. I have personally referred everyone I know looking for a primary physician to Dr. Childs.

My visit was very pleasant, I did not have to wait long before they took me to the back. And then once the nurse was finish it did not take Childs long before he came in. He was very friendly and he did not rush through the my visit. We even joked and laughed a little.

I gave a 4 star this time, I was so glad that Dr. Cobb finally understood my situation, my health is very complicating, I do want him to know that I got a hold of the colon Drs office and requested all my test and blood work be faxed over to Dr. Cobb, To tell you the truth I feel like some really care and Others just want to push dangerous treatment drugs at me, Dr. Cobb is helping me but I know I confuse him, But I can say he should know IAM not a bad patient just hard to understand about my situation, but his office and his office staff and him both have always treated me very kindly
