Great experience. Have never been to a dermatologist before, but had a few spots of concern. Called and got an appointment within a week. Within 10 minutes of my appt time was called back, upon examination they found 4 more spots that were precancerous. So glad I came in when when I did. Very friendly staff, very helpful, answering all my questions as if I was the only patient for the day. Will definitely recommend to anyone in need. Thank you 😊

I have recently had some biopsies here and I’m very pleased with the service I have received. My mother and father have also been going here for years when it was Dr. Bells office. We continued with the same facility for our dermatology needs after they became pinnacle dermatology. The staff is very professional and caring and they explain what they’re doing. Carrie Elam has done several of our in office biopsies and Dr. Smith and his assistant Heather perform the Mohs procedure there in office. I feel confident bringing my elderly parents here and having them care for my needs also. I highly recommend recommend them.

Really nice staff. They were really good at me at ease some mole or skin tag placement can be weird. They made it okay and 10/10 will forever be my clinic of choice.

I dont recommend this clinic at all. The person we have been seeing (me and my husband) is Carrie and she is the rudest person ever. They always make us wait at least 30 minutes in the exam room, and she is always sighing when we want to address concerns. Everything we want to discuss is normal and benign and doesnt need discussing in her opinion. She refused to change a medication that has given me an allergic reaction because she thinks it is the cheapest on us even though I told her I dont care if it is covered by the insurance or not I want to fix the issues Im having. Last time we went for follow up and we asked for her to change our meds because were getting no results and some are causing us more issues she acted as we insulted her. Also, it is impossible to get a call back when you leave a message, you have to catch someone on the phone or they dont address your concern. I switched to a clinic in Nashville that offers better service and SO much better prices.

I went in at 9:30 and it was past 12:30 when I left. Got there at 9:25 ushered in numbed and procedured by 10. Asked how long. Was told 1 hr to 1 1/2 to see if cells were collected and normal. I felt like I was forgotten. Waited and waited. Dr Smith, excellent Dr., came by and said everything was good. Waited for closure again. They are good don’t get me wrong, but I felt I could have been in and out sooner lest I had other obligations on this day.

Madison was very personable and cordial. She was precise and straight to the point. I made a good choice consulting with her. Everyone was so nice in the office, from the front desk, nurse, all the way to the check out desk. Their customer service was excellent and well rounded!

I was very impressed with Doctor Smith, all the nurses and staff! Everyone was very friendly and caring. They did everything they could to make me comfortable and Doctor Smith explained everything about what he was doing and what he did. Doctor Smith gave me specific instructions as well as written when I left. I have had several Mohs treatments and this was the best service Ive had from both the doctor and the nurses.

I had a great experience. The staff was very nice and willing to help with getting a PA from my insurance company for a new medication. Carrie actually listened to my symptoms which many providers don’t listen to their patients. I recommend Pinnacle to anyone with dermatological needs.

Everyone was very welcoming and I really appreciated that it did not take several appointments before they went ahead took action on the issue for which I had scheduled my appointment. They examined a spot on my face, made an assessment and Carrie recommended a course of action. I appreciated the expediency and professionalism. Each person I met from check-in to check-out was friendly. I will definitely be back and would not hesitate to make a referral.

I’ve always had great and personable experiences with Pinnacle. I typically see Kristie Bucher in Smyrna, but she recommended the Murfreesboro office where I saw Amanda Wilkins for a micro needling and PRP procedure. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease because I was kind of nervous about it. Everyone here at Pinnacle Dermatology is so nice & professional. Most medical facilities get you in and out as quickly as possible without really listening to your concerns. But when I had my first appointment with Carrie Elam, she took the time to listen and evaluate. That alone speaks volumes.

Got a new patient appointment in decent time. Paperwork was sent ahead of time so easy check in. Called back within minutes and Carrie was in very quickly. She listened, was supportive, and I was out quickly with a good plan of care. Everyone was very nice.

Customer service was great. Very timely with appt. Treatment for eczema flareup. The visit regrettably lacked attention, it made me feel rushed. She did not take a look at my palms,feet and I showed her open cuts on my skin which I was hoping to get antibacterial oral medication. Nothing not even cream for any infections. I am sure she is a fine doctor but would hope to see another for different opinion

First visit and very impressed with Dr. Nord. Hate she wont be there for my next visit since they said shes a floater. Just hoping Dr. Jurgens is good, she has been on leave. The nurses were very friendly also.

These folks are great. Im used to going to a medical appointment and, despite my punctuality, I usually have to wait an hour or more. They not only were prompt, but the service was fast and professional. A real refreshing change from what Ive been programmed into accepting from the medical community these days. I could get used to this kind of service from all the so called professionals I deal with. Its getting harder and harder to get quality service from companies these days! I had my first visit today to Pinnacle Dermatology. A PA assessed my skin and addressed the concerns I had. She listened to my concerns and provided a script for what I needed. There was almost no wait time (it was a morning appt though) and the staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend trying them out of you are looking for a dermatologist.

The doctor seemed like she was in a rush and she was very rude. She didn’t even take the time to hear the questions I had. She was in the room for less than 90 seconds and once she diagnosed, she stood in the doorway with the door open, said what she had to say and then just left. She didn’t even tell me what I needed to do at home for care. I just Googled it myself when I got home. The only reason I’m giving three stars is because of her nurse. Her nurse was absolutely amazing. So sweet and kind. And she answered all my questions. I was a little nervous and she walked me through everything. I was referred by my doctor. I will definitely call my doctor’s office back and ask to be referred somewhere else.

My son suffers from eczema. Its been flaring up for 3 weeks now and I have been calling practically begging for an emergency refill every week because my son is so irritated mainly on his right leg to the point where he has been digging up his skin. They have refused to authorize a refill until he was seen. I have been treating it to get the inflammation down the best way I could. Today I took off work early for him to be seen. I arrived at 3:12 for him to be seen. I was told he couldnt be seen because they closed at 4 and the last appointment was at 3:15. However, there was 2 people in the lobby and other people that came in were allowed to be seen after I arrived. I asked the front desk associate if she could ask the dermatologist to see him and she walked to the back, came back didnt give me answer to my request, and asked me to let her check the other people in. Its more to the story but the end result was that he wasnt seen and I had to drive him to Vanderbilt ER. Thank God for good nurses and doctors who can see his leg really needs immediate treatment because I would NEVER recommend anyone to take a sick dog to Pinnacle Dermatology. The appointments are always rushed and the doctors and nurses always just hanging out behind the desk more than they spend time in the room being concerned about their patients.

The staff was very friendly however I was kept in the waiting room for 1.5 hours. I understand that staff gets behind but that is a little long wait when you have an appointment.

I had such a great 1st experience. I went on my lunch break to have 2 spots checked out. I was able to get new patient paperwork done, see the dermatologist, get the 2 spots treated and back to my office in an hour. It was so quick and easy and I really appreciate it. EDIT: The provider says they are looking into this issue immediately in their response; however, no one from Pinnacle Dermatology has contacted me.Enjoyed my visit. Unfortunately, Im now stuck with an out of network and balance billed invoice, despite confirming with the office staff that my insurance was in network. Turns out that it wasnt in network for another 2 weeks. I understand mistakes can be made, but now I have a bill thats twice what I expected, both because it wasnt in network and because the provider chose to balance bill (a practice that law makers from both parties want to reduce or eliminate). Because of the mistake and the poor billing practices, I cannot provide a positive review or recommend this company despite good care from their providers.

I was a new patient wait wasnt long got in and got our. My problem with the bump on my nose was taken care of right then and there and the mole on the back of my leg was frozen which will fall off on its own. I would highly recommend

In a word AWESOME!!! Let me explain, as I went to the office of Pinnacle dermatology here in Murfreesboro Tennessee I was a mess, I was a wreck. As a child I had already experienced the trauma of 11 surgeries on each Left foot & leg Right foot & leg. So needless to say cutting on me anywhere was terrifying not to mention the needles involved. Look, Im a 63 year old man whos also an ex-cop. I feel that Im a very strong-willed person. But when youve been traumatized as a child over a period 16 years from surgeries that you have had performed due to a handicap at birth, well lets just say those experiences and thoughts and fears stay with you for the rest of your life. And in the 50s the technology was nowhere even close to what we have today for surgery. So yes I walked into Pinnacle dermatology terrified thinking that I was going to walk out looking like the faceless man LOL. Well I could not have been more incorrect, as I was treated beginning at the sign-in desk with the utmost respect and care and kindness. Allison and Misty at the front desk spoke to me as if they had known me all my life. When I got back to the room, Sherry the nurse that was checking me into the room also spoke to me and treated me as if I were her friend for life. Now comes the doctor, Dr. Elam. Wow what a breath of fresh air. Dr. Elam immediately realized how I was in need of a little TLC and compassion as to try and calm me down. Dr. Elam took control and allowed me to feel extremely comfortable and not afraid. Its kind of like cramming for that one exam in college that you know if you dont pass it youre done and I mean done. And then when you get your test results and you made an A+, its that deep sigh of relief that everythings going to be okay now no matter what. Im not kidding you it was just that quick of a transformation. As it turned out I was not going to have to have my face removed at all. All I needed was to have Dr. Elam freeze the affected area and were done, just that simple. No pain no screaming like a little girl nothing like that at all. I was actually kind of embarrassed. If I could give 10 Stars I would but Im only allowed to give five. So in closing I would just say that the staff and the doctors at Pinnacle Dermatology in Murfreesboro Tennessee are in my opinion and in one word,AWESOME

Check-in was smooth with a friendly and efficient staff member. We were seen within a few minutes of our appointment time. Nurses and the doctor explained everything during the whole Mohs procedure. It was evident Pinnacle Dermatology cares about their patients.

I am one to rarely review but my experience was terrible. I’ve been to Pinnacle dermatology before and after the management change. Since Pinnacle has taken over each time i visit I have to tell myself give them a chance they will get better. No! I had a 1:15 appt. time. I waited in the lobby until 2pm. I finally got brought back and talk to a nurse, she quickly ask what I was there for and I explained then she was off. At 2:20 another nurse walks in. Very nice and she again asked why I was here. I explained and she assured me that my issue was common and easily taken care of “ it’s a 5 minute treatment” Then she also leaves the room. I look out at the bullpen around 2:45 to see if any activity other than employees chit chatting around the reception desk. Nope just the nurses hanging out. Eventually at 3:05 I had decided I waited long enough and decided to leave. I am no longer a patient of pinnacle dermatology.

From the beginning with check in to the end with check out we were greeted warmly by everyone and treated well. Our appt was with Carrie but we seen Ashley who entered the room with a smile in her eyes and proceeded to address all of our concerns and questions patiently and intelligently. Being use to seeing Carrie we were equally pleased with Ashley. Another new face was Hannah who had the task of freezing some places on me and even though I was nervous she was a delightful person who handled the task with finesse. This was the easiest doctor to go visit, even during this pandemic. Dr Carrie was my dermatologist and she and her whole team were phenomenal. Not only did she address the issue I was there for, she also removed a small cyst I had on my back pressing on my scapula.

No long wait to be seen. All personnel were courteous and quite competent. A very satisfying experience.

I went there this morning because I had some things like little bumps growing in the corner of my eyes they looked at it and within a couple minutes somebody else came in and removed them. Painless and super fast. I highly recommend them.

I went to Pinnacle dermatology today for a skin rash on my leg. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early with my insurance cards. The lady at the reception desk told me that she couldnt get my insurance to come up and I told her that my wife is a patient and uses the same insurance. I was taken back to a room and waited for a long time. Finally at 3:30 ( an hour after my scheduled appointment) I had enough and got up and left. I came out of the room, and saw several nurses at the nurses station. I told them that I was leaving.My appointment was an hour ago, and my time is important too. One of the nurses named Shelly told me that they were tied up with another patient.I told them that Im not waiting anymore and left. If they were tied up with another patient, why couldnt they tell me that while I was waiting? How many patients has Pinnacle refused to see because they were late for appointment. I understand that doctors run late, but an hour is unreasonable. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early as instructed. When I do everything that Im supposed to do on my end, I expect to be seen in a reasonable amount of time. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!

I use to love it here! Since Pinnacle took over I can’t stand it! The wait times are astronomical and the billing is all over the place! The ONLY reason I stay is because of my provider. Carrie Elam is phenomenal. Where she goes, I’ll go!

The office keeps changing my kid’s appointments and each time it’s for a month later. So it takes like 5 months to see a doctor when it should take 3. I brought one of my daughters in to see if they could see her today (they say they take walk-in, and she’s already an established patient) because she’s having a skin issue. Her family doctor told me to go to her dermatologist so they could check her and possibly give her a steroid shot. She needed medical attention and pinnacle dermatology wouldn’t take her that day and didn’t want to schedule an appointment because they said they couldn’t get her in sooner than her appointment that was 3 weeks away! She needs to see a doctor now not weeks later.

I had the best experience possible as a new patient! Carrie, Heidi and Aubrea were so thorough in asking questions and addressing everything I came for. I always forget all the things I want to ask about at an appointment if I feel rushed, and that was certainly not the case. They were patient and so attentive. Heidi was so fantastic for setting up an appointment time that worked perfectly for me, and her bedside manner in the room was exceptional! I will be recommending this office to EVERYONE, and I am so excited for my treatment plan! Thank you to an amazing team!
