Dr Maxwell was the best physician I’ve ever gone to and I’m 63 and visited several. She listened, she cared, and she helped me both physically and mentally. I was devastated to hear she left Ascension. The medical group and this community lost someone very good, caring, professional when she stepped away. I have been with her many years. I would love to know if she is returning to the medical system. If so I’d love to know where she will be and when!!

Dr. Maxwell has been my primary care physician since I moved to Murfreesboro back in 2007. She, by far, is the best doctor I’ve had. She takes the time to explain things and she truly cares about her patients and their overall well being. I always highly recommend her when people ask who where I go to my doctor. I have three friends that also have Dr Maxwell as their doctor and they all say the same thing. I recommend Dr Maxwell without hesitation.

Dr. Elizabeth Maxwell has been my Dr. for years! She is excellent at what she does. I have had multiple medical issues that shes followed up with me on and has never been one to just prescribe something and send me on my way. She has a kind, caring, compassionate heart and works with you on your health as a whole. She is the best and I would Always recommend her to anyone & I have! With her I was never just a number!

She has taken care of me since 2015 up until 2021! Quality of care and her professionalism were excellent. She saved my life, and always took the time to listen to my concerns and needs! She is family oriented, so she always cared and asked about my family! Absolutely fantastic!

Both my husband and I trust Elizabeth with our care. She treats the whole person. She is very thorough! Challenges us to be in charge of our own health. Slow to prescribe medication- wants to change lifestyle. She educates you on any medical issue and wants you to have all the facts. She is a great listener and highly competent.

Dr. Maxwell is by far one of the best doctors I’ve seen. I’ve never felt rushed with my appointments. She listens and asks thorough questions to make sure that all my health needs are met.

Shes a great doctor... takes her responsibility to her patients seriously. Does still care, able to listen and makes effort. Not overly stringent but also highly competent... You cant go wrong here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Maxwell for the past 3 years, she has been nothing but professional and eager to help me in any way to improve my health. I have been treated for several medical issues from simple to complex, and Dr. Maxwell has always been very knowledgeable of each situation and has offered different options to help improve my situation. She cares deeply for her patients and tries hard to accommodate everyone. I was very appreciative of her working me into her schedule when I desperately needed to be seen on such short notice, I would have waited all day to see her!! I think Dr. Maxwell is one of the most thorough and professional physicians I have met in a very long time. I am thankful to have found such a wonderful, caring, supportive doctor.

My wife was in her office the other day and her blood pressure was elevated very high, Dr. Maxwell told her that she would call in a prescription for her and here it is two days later and nothing has been called in. My wife gets the feeling that the doctor does not take the time to listen to her issues and discounts her while she is in the room with her. It appears or the perception that Dr. Maxwell is giving shows that she does not care for the patient, so that must mean it is all about the money. Get the copay and send you on your way. She had to go to get a referral because she had went to a kidney doctor and they found something that was related to OBGYN field and told my wife that she need to see a surgeon about it. When she called Dr. Maxwells office to get the referral, they told her that she would have to come in first, there goes another $35 for no need what so ever! She set in the room waiting on the doctor for what she said was one hour, my blood pressure would be up as well if I had to set there and just waste my money.

Ive been with dr maxwell since she open her practice. One time she referred me to a specialist because she believed I had Lupus. Once I got to the specialist he told me that they didnt even understand why I was there.. nothing was wrong with me. I havent been back since.

Excellent doctor! Very patient and listens to all concerns!

Worst experience at a Drs office. Wait time was terrible. Nurses were rude and Dr maxwells assistant Mr warren was unprofessional. Will never set foot back inside her office.
