The care was good (4 stars)yet the billing was inconsistent and incorrect. I received care in May 2020. Started getting a flurry of bills in July. Why not put each home care visit on one bill? each visit has a seperate bill and acccount # and is billed to health insurance seperately. Be aware of this. They only have 1 phone number to call with questions.lable. No email customer support avai Wait time always more than 10 minuutes. then when you do get through, they tell you they will call you back and never do.. I paid off my bill in July. I received a random bill in October. I have called weekly to remedy bill situation. Every week I am told someone will call me back. Every week goes by and no one ever call me back...4 weeks in a row now. Very frustrating.

My husband has Glioblastoma and I used Amedisys for his initial home nursing and therapies. They always came on time and called ahead to make the appointment (in this industry, that is something). They were skilled, caring, and attentive to my husband. I would definitely recommend this company with a high rating. They are conscientious about cleanliness and use current technology. I would encourage anyone to use another home health agency. if you have used this agency i would encourage you to get a copy of your medical records as it may surprise you of what is documented about you. i will never use them again. I do not even want to give them one star.
