No regard for your time. Totally unprofessional. After my child had a myriad of tests done and we made all the necessary arrangements to take time off from work and school, less than 2 days before the procedure they informed me they dont take her insurance.

Wonderful hospital. The staff is amazing and they made me feel very comfortable. The nursing staff was exceptional and very accommodating. My surgical staff has always been great! I’ve had 3 surgeries there and each one I received great treatment. Three of my children were born at South MIAMI and I must say they definitely make a mom feel at ease.

This was my first experience with the MASC at South Miami and I am so glad this is where I had my procedure done. My pre-op nurse Duni, was SO NICE! From the first encounter, to the last. Very attentive and detail oriented. Not only did he help me with my socks, but he also brought me a warm blanket and covered me. He answered all of my questions with patience and ease and he continued to check on me to ensure I was comfortable. He played a very pivotal role in my calmness, as I was a little nervous for my first ever surgery with this type of sedation. I am so thankful for his care. Especially as a fellow nurse myself, it was beautiful to be a patient and see outwardly what a great job our profession does at the bedside.Mercedes was my post-op nurse and ALSO a gem!!! She kept going out of her way to attend to me, asking if I wanted snacks, water, blankets. She did a great job of communicating with my family member to pick me up and went above and beyond to escort me downstairs herself. These two nurses are an incredible asset to the facility and should be recognized appropriately! I am forever thankful for them.Dafney, the CRNA was so sweet and reassuring with any questions or concerns I had in regards to the sedation portion. I remember her pushing the Versed, seeing double as I tried to text my boyfriend that I was going into surgery... and that’s about it. LolDr. Brown came to see me before the surgery, sat down and took his time to walk me through the procedure and answer any of my questions. A wonderful doctor that I can recommend to everyone!Thank you so much to Dr. Brown, Duni, Mercedes and Dafney for caring for me and helping me feel calm, comfortable and making my experience the best it could possibly be!

I did the required Covid test 1 week before my surgery. They use Quest Daignostics and the test results were not received 1 week later so my surgery was canceled. They wanted to reschedule the surgery, force me to take another test (charge my insurance company again) & use Quest again. No regard for the patient or the doctor’s time. In contrast, Bascom Palmer Eye Center tests you & gets the results on the same day.

Since you walk into the front desk area the attention is amazing. Maria and Jocelyn took care of my wife and even helped us with our insurance deductible payment. They were very attentive and even got my parents in law warm blankets because they were cold. The nurses were phenomenal and very caring. They were in great moods and willing to help my wife with anything she needed. My wifes nurse Christina Gutierrez was amazing and made us feel like family. The doctors were also great and easy to talk to. They explained everything in detail and made us feel safe and in good hands. I would recommend this facility to anyone having out patient surgery. A+++

I want to thank every person in this surgical center. The attention was amazing. Special thanks to Mercedes one of the nurses who took care of me during surgery preparation. To my doctor Juergen Eisermann no words to describe my trust in his positive words and knowledge. The anesthesia team was also very attentive. All nurses in general were very supportive before and after the procedure. I thank God every day to put me in good hands. I can’t say enough how grateful I am to all of you.

Im surprised there are no other reviews because outpatient surgery here was an outstanding experience. My daughter was scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery today and I was totally impressed from the moment we walked in the door with the friendly and courteous staff, the ease of completing paper work, and all of the fabulous nurses, pre surgery, surgical and post op. They were not over crowded, and each patient was getting 100% attention from their assigned nurse. I would never hesitate to recommend this center for outpatient surgery and I know you will be as pleased as we were using their services. Thanks so much to all we came in contact with today!
