I called the day before about taking a test and they gave me walk in hours. I forgot and called about walk in hours again same morning. I walk in, no one is at the desk and the reception window is closed. I just check in and have a seat. After about 5 minutes this guy walks in and magically the reception window is opened and they communicate with him. About 5 minutes after that Im then being told I need to make a appointment. They said nothing about appointments over the phone. Why would you take walk ins if they have to make an appointment. They have bad attitudes.

You showed me such great compassion and care. Betty and Angela were also very professional, friendly and accommodating to all of my needs. I don’t mean to over do it but your office is immaculate. I read several reviews before deciding to visit Dr. Morrison and I was surely impressed. He is great listener, I was seen in a very timely manner (super impressive) and he definitely didn’t rush my visit. He took time out to listen to all the concerns I had and he made recommendations that I feel clearly supported the fact that he is very detailed and wants to make the most informed decisions relating to my health. He also was very good at providing explanations to support his recommendations.It’s been a long search for a PCP but I definitely feel Dr. Morrison delivers on quality care.

Dr. Morrison is awesome!Dr. Morrison and PA Katherine and the entire staff at Atlantic Health Medical Associates are beyond amazing. When you have an appointment, they will spend the whole scheduled period with you if need be; I know when I come in to see Dr. Morrison he’s already reviewed the reasons for my coming in and my file. I never feel rushed, and he always asks if I have any other questions. He’s awesome. Also, when he knew my medication was expensive on my insurance, he looked up what competing pharmacies charged with GoodRX and printed me out the prices – saved me lots! Gigi in the referrals department is on her stuff. She lets me know before hand what to expect so that Im not surprised. Definitely highly recommended.

Let me first start off by saying you can tell the problematic people just by reading the reviews. Dr. Morrison and Nurse Practitioner Katherine are the most caring providers I know. Never felt rushed or like bother them when talking to them. The staff is amazing. I’ve been a patient at this office for the past 3-4 years now and can’t complain. People tend to blame the office or providers for things they have no control over. If you’re looking for an office that cares and helps the best way they can this is the place to go.

Professional and courteous from arrival to departure. The staff was efficient yet, warm and engaging. Dr Morrison put me at ease, as a new patient. From the moment he entered the room, with a sincere greeting, he was focused on me. He listened attentively as I voiced my issues and symptoms. Overall, the office visit was positive and I will be returning.

The office workers and the doctor were all super nice. They all provided great customer service which is EXTREMELY important to me. So I will be going back to this office for whatever my needs are at the time. It does take awhile to be seen (due to covid and for safety of everyone) the office has to limited how many people can be in the office a time in addition to sanitizing after each patient. Also take in mind that the doctor also has to give each patient the time needed for questions and / or concerns in order provide great customer service. So patience is a virtue especially during this time of uncertainty with covid-19. So dont go into the office acting a fool because you were not seen at your scheduled time. Be patient

Absolutely amazing! Feels like family every time I go see my pcp. Special shout out to Ms. Gigi, not sure how they stumbled upon this angel. When I say thorough!!!! She leaves nothing undone. Best thing that could’ve happened to this office.

Great providers, Katherine and Dr. Morrison are spectacular! However the staff is TERRIBLE. I have never met more unprofessional staff in a physician’s office. If you are miserable and do not like your job, find another one. DONT work with patients who are in need of care. I referred both my parents to the office because of the exceptional care of the providers, but for every little thing we need and ask the staff it’s like pulling teeth. Very rude and make you feel like you are walking on eggshells not to mention the wait time is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and find another PCP. Not worth the headache.

Katherine and Morrison are great! Just so annoying EVERY single time I have an appt I don’t get in the room until 30+ mins after from my APPOINTMENT time. It’s okay if it was a one time thing but happens all the time! I as well had an incident before of being charged for something I was not aware of and never received a bill in the mail and coming to the office to find out I had an balance that wasn’t paid because I 1. Never knew I had to pay for something and 2. Never got it in the mail... again great doctors and easy to be comfortable and open with but the time with appointments gotta get better and as well letting patients know that they will have to come out of pocket for something before testing them or etc for anything.

I believe: your doctor and yourself become a working team. Thats why i picked Dr. Volrick Morrison as my PCP. Thumbs up.

I’m a patient in this office, I must take anticoagulants for life so I must take a blood test from time to time to check my anticoagulant levels.According to them I didn’t need to arrange an appointment because the blood draw only requires 8 minutes, after that I should wait for 2 days more and less for my anticoagulant levels results to get new instructions about how I would continue taking my anticoagulant.The big problem to me was the time to get my service Instead I have to wait for some reasonable time for an assistant to get my blood draw, I had to wait for at lest one hour to get my service.The last time I had to wait for 2 hours and half because their lunch time is setting from 12:00 to 1:30,pm.Even though I arrived at the building at 10:30, I had to wait 20 minutes for the Valet Parking Service because the line (many cars) was long, finally a man took my car to the parking lot.As a result, I arrived at 11:00, am to the office.I signed the patient list and I took a seat to wait to be called, after 20 minutes, an assistant told me that I would return at 1:30 after their lunch time because they couldn’t attend me despite they have only two patients including me waiting in the office as I could see.If you don’t arrive at less at 10:15 am to take a blood draw like me because my condition and you didn’t make an appointment, you are lost,!!You would change your plans , after they attend their programmed patients, MAYBE you could have the chance to be attended, but it is so hard ir you have a job and you should take a permission from your boss,.I was never attended for Dr. Morrison, I was attended for a nurse named Katherine Martinez-Mendez,, I had to ask for a refill of my medicine and she gave me a little order of my prescription for some weeks without any refill!!I couldn’t get any refill at less I should ask for it every timer, they didn’t take care for my condition despite my life was in high risk,I have had taking anticoagulants for 25 years, I was visiting another office for 18 years, however because my insurance health changed, I would try another office so I went to Atlantic Medical Associates thinking to get a good service, stay away if you don’t like to get the worst service for a delicate condition.I’m hoping to find another primary doctor as soon as possible , at moment it is my goal!🙏🙏🙏🙏

Horrible... They keep billing me for appointments I never made. I have since moved from Florida and I continue to receive statements for no show appointments. Whats even more curious is that I checked the account number on a previous appointment statement and the account number on my supposed no show has a one digit account number. I also called them plenty of times and was told I would receive a call back to verify the bill and I never receive a call back ever. If you do not value your personal information or money make an appointment with these scammers.

The doctors are really nice when you come to see them, but I have to say their office staff is terrible, was 20 minutes late because of a accident, and they wouldn’t take me. All I needed was a referral which would take 2 minutes. Don’t understand why work in the medical field if you don’t care about the patients.
