I used to work for this company Front Desk and had no issues with this location up until new management took over. They are not only rude to members but poorly have set up rules where they sometimes let you in or sometimes don’t let you in based off of how they feel. For someone who spends hundreds of dollars with this company it’s completely unacceptable. Management has fired everyone who enjoyed working there and continues to stress out everyone else. I would not suggest this place to anyone. You should know better when a place asks for your account and routing number that they are up to no good.

The owner is very compassionate and understanding to its members. I recently had a not so good experience turn into a great experience. Thank you for everything. I would recommend Youfit to everyone.

As full of people as other gyms. Mondays and evenings are the busiest. Take a towel to wipe your sweat or they wont let you in. I love this place.

I have a better workout at this location than i do at the Miami Gardens Location!

This place changed their hours without noticing to their members. It used to be open at 5am and now that many people are waiting outside to go inside they are closed. I went to the website and says that opens at 6am. Thats not fear to anyone, especially to the ones that walks early to do exercises.

Been a member at this location since it opened several years ago. It has steadily gone downhill since the beginning but recently it’s reached a point where I might not renew for the upcoming year. Instead of re-painting, how about fixing the equipment and providing a stable WiFi? These are things that members actually want.

This youfit location seems to be open until 7:00pm on Sunday. This is in Mimo / North Miami area The gym itself is a smaller location then the ones on the west side of town. The location doesnt seem to have the sauna like other location. But they do have most of the same equipment with the same colors (green and purple). The t-bar row and the shoulder machine are good. The cables are always occupied because people dont want to expend the energy doing free weight lifts (lazyness) . But if there open , jump on them. I do recommend

They are terrible with charging and OVER-charging your account. then they will fight you on the mistakes that they made and blame it on you. Such a waste of a gym to not know how to be ran properly with respect to their clients. DO NOT JOIN

This YOUFIT opens at 5am. I normally come at 5 and todat no one showed up at 5 to open. It was 5:40 and the gym was still closed. I returned at 8am and asked what had happen this morning. I thought maybe the opening time had changed and the front desk agent responded with a rude tone saying she and the manager were running late.. Over an hour late?? I really hope this doesn’t happen again.

I used to be happy with this gym but now there’s always a group of guys screaming as they talk even with headphones you’ll hear them. There’s no respect for others, you can hear them all over the gym and people at the front desk won’t do anything about it. Nobody cleans after themselves and I see it going from bad to horrible. Thanks to all of that I’m thinking about leaving that gym. I guess you get what you pay.

YouFit is staying very consistent when it comes to COVID spread prevention.

This gym is not only in the worst conditions (water dripping from the ceiling onto the dumb bells) but it also has the worst people. You’ll regularly have people screaming in the middle of the gym with none of the workers doing anything about it. Be sure to bring rain boots because the ceiling leaks water onto the floor and other equipment. Stay away.

I have been a member of this gym for over 4 years — I have seen it go thru ups and downs. I will not change it for anything. Las night the AC was not working and I had the best work out in a long time. I called to suggest to them to open some window and leave it without AC and the bee Manager picked up — I forgot her name sorry sweety — she was so cordial and so receptive … she used ti the in the Coral Gables gym and just by te ways she spoke I can tell you … WE ARE GONNA SEE AN UP coming … I love my gym … yes, it is not perfect and they might be things that could improve … but it works for me!

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! This youfit is extremely dirty and disrespectful. I signed up with them and asked if there was a contract to which they told me no. When I go to cancel my membership they told me that I needed to pay 60$ in order to leave the contract to which they had told me I didn’t have when I singed up. They will lie and say anything for you to sign up and then not honor their agreement.

I get to gym at 5am so I may go to work as I write this now been waiting for 16 min now...Hope someone adresses this soon

Excellent experience as always. The staff is amazing and the club is spotless.

A rude staff member from this location called and yelled at me. Not sure what her problem is. I was in a noisy place so I couldn’t hear what she was saying. She bursted out and yelled at me with an attitude asking if I want to use my free passes. And she wasn’t just speaking louder, she was yelling. I know the difference. I just hung up on her and blocked the number. I felt like canceling but then I remembered the cancellation fee. Signed up like 2 weeks ago. Not a great way to start a relationship.

Well the main problem with this gym is that it does not have a proper yoga class it only has one class per week doing yoga so you know thats thats a bit of a problem and so if youre looking for a yoga class this is not the right location youve got to find some cuz they only do one class per week and thats not sufficient for yoga

Weights not picked up until its time to close, not enough hand towels or cleaning liquid to wipe hands or equipment and their shirt on staff.

I love Youfit. Maybe Im a little biased as I teach Yoga there. Biscayne Youfit is the number one club in the country with around 10K members. Theyre probably doing something right. Right?

My fitness instructor is constantly mixing it up, challenging me. He expects you to do your best. You come in, give it all, and he answers. He is so supportive in maintaining my body become fit and healthy! He is the best!

Went back today and gym looks good. Was greeted, is looking at it being 1 on my permanent gym homes.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since July of 2020. I have been charged for a service that I haven’t used since the pandemic started. I have tried multiple times to cancel my membership through the methods that have been explained and given to me. I am still being charged and I have been told I can’t receive a refund for services I am not using and have tried to cancel. I’ve gone as far as contacting corporate and have received a generic response on top of also the audacity of telling me I have to send with my letter they never receive a $10 cancellation fee. I have been a member there since 2016 but I see no professionalism, help or empathy for members. I honestly will look into reporting YouFit into the better business bureau for their constant theft and abuse especially during such hard and trying times. I am glad that I am canceling and will no longer be giving my money to a business that clearly does not deserve it.

Equipment never works or busted and membership goes up but quality of machine is decreasing

Am I the only one who thinks that the quality and the upkeep of the machines has gone spiraling downward? Even with Covid spacing, most of the cardio machines dont work. The treadmills either dont incline, the speed doesnt work, or the tread is torn apart. The smaller step machines and ellipticals dont seem to adjust incline correctly. Forget about the bikes. Either the pedals dont have straps or the straps are ripped and the pedals dont appear to work right when you actually pedal. The cushions on most of the weight training machines are mostly ripped. And the attachments to the mutli gym station either have torn rubber or are completely missing all together. There should be at least two attachments per machine because theres one on each side and youll be lucky to find one.Overall this place is starting to look worse than a high school gym. I thought YouFit provided better quality than this. Ive been coming here for years and it seems after the pandemic they just stopped caring.

It’s frustrating walking into this place a lot of times. Between all the closed off workout stations and how consistently full of people it is, it’s tough getting workouts in. You’ll see a lot of people just standing kicking rocks waiting and walking around trying to find anything to workout on. It’s not a bad gym, just packed and limited workout stations. I’d love to give more stars but I couldn’t even get a workout in.

The staff is always sweet and welcoming. I usually go around the same time and always have the same associates help check me in. Tony, is usually always there and is very attentive to everyone at the desk. Even if it is full of people, he stays as calm as possible, helping everyone all around. The maintenance is well kept by the staff all around. Making the gym very comfortable to go to.

You guys continually push me to do more. In the few months Ive been with you, I can truly see a difference in my body, in flexibility, strength, and looks. Im 68 and can say that I have noticeably changed my appearance and my confidence. I get compliments near every day from my friends, co-workers, and my Primary Care Doctor. Youve got a very comprehensive, clean, friendly, and organized arena to enable me to progress. Thank you many times over. You are true professionals.

Its ok not fancy about this place needs an upgrade in equipment

Its not 10 dollars a month anymore its 25 and I used to pay 35 for l.a fitness and the two dont compare but the people are cool there good spot to just drop in for a bit

Shady thing is they even charged me during the pandemic when gyms were closed. Makes sense why they continued to charge me they are going bankrupt.

Doing well keeping up with THE CDC COVID-19 standards/recommendations. They could use a few more sites though.

At any given time 1/3 to 1/2 of all members do not wear masks properly. Management allows these violations to continue because they will not empower their staff to revoke membership privileges of egregious violators. Complete violation of Covid safety practices. I am forced to cancel membership.

Most of the 5 stars reviews are fake: hygiene, education and professionalism are crually missing in that location making it the most substandard gym i have ever joined. I did not even bother cancelling my membership, just changed debit card and i was done. To the management or the person in charge of managing reviews online: your reply is useless. Act when you can, not when the harm is done.

Worst gym i’ve ever been. Weights all over the place and very disorganized. They doesnt even have a water filter and if i need water i need to buy it from them.

This place is garbage. The staff is useless and not customer friendly at all. Always treating me and my guest with disrespect. Weights and equipment are always left on the floor spread around the gym. I’d recommend the other locations over this one all day.

An amazing place to work out. Lots of space. Lots of good work out machine as well as fitness programs and the occasional harassment from the personal trainers (these guys are passionate about their jobs) I use harassment in the friendliest sense. You always get greeted by the receptionist and they always create a positive atmosphere for you. I highly recommend coming to this location. I’ll be adding picture soon.

After having been a two year customer here at Youfit, I must say that the way things were handled during this quarantine were simply unacceptable! For two months I had tried to receive refunds for invalid charges that were promised to be returned me by the manager Danny at this location...the amount promised to be returned was never returned! And even Corporate is not answering any emails... It is a shame that even in the mist of a pandemic, companies like this one are robbing people out of their hard earned money.

20 bucks a month and you can bring a friend? Nowbrg8s is a great deal. Ive been attending group classes and even personalized classes for more than a year. Love the ambience, the friendly staff, classes are great and the manager is the best! Highly recommended!

I personally don’t go to the gym as often but when I get into the vibe of going to I like going to Youfit by Biscayne because I already know most of the staff and when new staff members join in. They’re as nice as the older staff. Yeah there are pros and cons of the gym. That’s because of the gym rats. But I would recommend it because I’ve seen wth my own eyes the cleanliness, great service, great machines. It’s not the staff that makes a bad vibe it’s the costumers. My overall experience has been phenomenal.

What a great gym! Steve at the front desk is absolutely wonderful! So helpful! This gym was really clean and smelled good..no sweaty socks smell! The members were very friendly and helpful as well. Lots of equipment- both cardio and weights. When I visit will again I definitely be back! Very reasonable prices!

Friendly and attentive staff. They keep the space very clean as well. There are a few broken machines that will hopefully get fixed sin and depending on the time it gets quite busy, but overall its a great place to work out. And the people that go are nice as well.

I have been going to this club for 2 years now. I have never had a bad experience here. It may have a high influx of people coming in during its peak time during the evening but the staff has always been accommodating. The director of this location Fed, is someone who is knowledgeable in the field and always treats you with respect. When I did my initial assessment, he took the time to get to know my personal and individual needs and goals in order to better assist me with where I wanted to be with my fitness goals. Everyone has had a friendly smile and warming attitude. I would recommend this location.

I love this gym, they have great customer service when entering! They are clean and have many weight available so there is less of a wait time between workouts. The bathrooms are always clean and smell nice. Definitely recommend this gym!

Fairly new at this facility. Staff seems friendly. Place is clean. most patrons focus on his/her workout and mainly use the equipments/weights. classes are somewhat limited - lots of room for improvement in that area. Overall, place is decent and affordable.

A member can bring a guest each time they visit which is amazing. It can be the same guest each time. Sometimes a machine will have an out of order sign on it for a 3 or 4 days but I am not sure if YouFit fixes them or if they work with a vendor that has to schedule a time to fix it.The staff is always nice and make the check in take as little time as possible.

No Fluff workout. This is NOT Equinox. Im with others that it should be bigger EXPAND. Usually okay early morning, early afternoon or late evening...otherwise, too packed! Prime-time between 5-8pm daily and 10am-noon on Saturday. Tons of never-been-to-a-gym before clients so working in, racking weights, wiping off machines, and sharing machines/equipment gym protocols go out the window. Plenty of classes, get there early. Plenty of eye candy, inspiring for working out. Music and wifi are hit and miss, bring your own. True Miami crowd...from ghetto to gays to gym addicts to non-English speakers to surgically enhanced housewives. Good regular crowd if youre consistent in your workout routine times. Cheap enough that the positives out-weigh the negatives. Member since June 2017.

The staff is great except for that white girl working at the front desk. She clearly has no experience in customer service and doesn’t care about the gym’s reputation. If you forget your fob at home make sure to go back and get it, because she will force you to leave even if you have your ID, phone number and are registered in the system.

Ive visited other locations and although this location is sometimes more crowded than the others, the 79 St. staff is hands down the absolute best! They are very helpful and motivating. Kudos to Federico, Eric, Hannah and Sharlia for inspiring me to be a healthier me! Perhaps this is why they are more crowded than the other locations.

This is gym is great. The staff is nice, the gym is usually clean and the equipment is on the newer side and usually within working order. As a busy medical student I love that Youfit is open 24 hrs on the weekdays. I am able to drive from Starbcuks on Biscayne after they close at 11:30pm and proceed to workout after hours of studying. OWNERSHIP IF YOU ARE READING: Please do not ever stop being 24 hours on the weekdays because we love it. $10/month you cant beat it.

The gym it’s self is not bad. The problem is it is always jam packed with people. I go with my girlfriend to just leave 10 min later. I nicely asked a man how much time he has left until he finishes with the ab machine and he rudely responds “no I just got on” he was on the phone the whole time sitting there and the staff does not bother to counter these problems. 1 star if possible ZERO.

Alot people not enough equipment

I come to this gym because it is the closest to my house and I do love the machines and workout equipment is well kept, the reason why I give it 3 stars is because it get way too packed at the time I usually go which is after work.

Equipment is good. Staff is average, no complains so far. Would benefit from offering more classes (zumba, yoga,etc.) Only reason I dont give 5 stars is because of the culture of its members. Some gym members hog the gym equipment like they own it. Sometimes I have to wait a really long time to use equipment and sometimes I just skip that workout all together. Additionally, gym members do not clean equipment after using it nor do they put weights back where they belong making it difficult to judge if a gym equipment is available for use. I find early morning the best time to go. They have showers that are clean. I find the $23 monthly fee reasonable considering this location is open 24/7 Monday through Friday.

The best part about the gym is the low cost membership. Besides that, there isnt anything special in terms of amenities or perks. It is a very basic gym. But if that is what you want, then feel free to subscribe to their membership.

This people charged me abusive during the pandemic, i called to cancel my account, after 4 month start charging me again abusive!!! to conceal your account you need to come in person on a world pandemic and pay $10 ... this people are robbers! never go to their gyms!

Absolutely horrible! The trainers are great and very motivating. I got into great shape working out with my Trainer. The problem is the management! These idiots in black shirts refuse to help with anything. The bad part is that they cost me an extra $360 even though it was a mistake on their part! The only helpful person was tge district manager and hes not there often. To add insult to injury, they knew Id be moving and that I needed to transfer the unnecessary sessions I had to pay for to someone else. Rather than saying they didnt know how to help me, they just left me hanging! So now those sessions will rotten along with my money! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!! I will also be filing a BBB complaint and calling corporate on their asses.

The staff is great - very friendly and helpful. The gym is super clean, including the bathrooms. Theres a lot of equipment to choose from for both weights and cardio. I also love the CARDIO DANCE class that they offer because Anissa is amazing and her energy is contagious! I highly recommend this location :)

After 2 years going to this gym I was asked today for the first time by one of the associates to pick up the weights and rack them after I finish with them, this is something I usually do everyday but today I was asked as If I was doing something wrong by using 2 or 3 at the same time. I didn’t like the comment but anyway I continued my workout, I kept noticing how now both associates were looking and pointing at me. At the end of my workout while exiting the gym, I was asked again if I had put everything back to its place by the same associate, I ignored him and stepped out, he now started screaming for my name and taking pictures of me, how is this a professional behavior? Do I pay to use your facilities or to clean your facilities? How do you expect a customer to come back when such low trashy customer service is provided? I will wait for Management to contact me and maybe assist with cancelling my subscription charge free, its a shame to loose a 2 year loyal customer, one that has ever missed a payment.

Unbeatable price. $10 for regular membership, $20 to bring guests for free and use all of their locations. Place is usually packed tough but the prices are too good to complain.Edit from 5 to 3 stars: One day I walked in with my headphones and was a bit distracted so I accidentally walked past the front desk without signing in. Guy working there was super aggressive and even after I apologised for not signing in right away, he was still very stand offish. Costumers are very inconsiderate and will sit at a machine using their phone for very long. Was great in 2018, 2020 not so much.

Youfit is definitely a great gym thats affordable. Isuari operation manager always greet me with a nice warm Hi and smile. Always asking how Im doing before she ask for my lime card and checks me in. Eric youfit manager has all the answers to my questions. Very nice gentle.

They need to get on the inconsiderate people hogging 3 or so sets of freeweights at a time. Very frustrating. Other then waiting for the benchpress and cables at times the place is really good for the money.

It is small, only 2 showers with poor water heater system. Also roaches live everywhere. This place is looking very different to the one I signed up for. They are taking work out area from members to do personal training classes keeping us from using it. Not the gym I toured the date of signing a contract with them.

The staff members are all very friendly. The membership is super cheap ($10/mo) with no contract, AND you get what you pay for. The a/c ducts and vents drip all over the place, and the free weights are a disaster. The plates and dumbbells are literally scattered all over the gym all the time. Numerous machines remain broken for weeks at a time, plus the padding on most of the equipment is cracked and scratchy. Again, you get what you pay for.

Love the location and vibe, everyone who works there is pretty friendly.

To crowded. Have to wait for the muscle heads to work out on one machine for 20 minutes. How long does it take to actually work your muscles. Go to gold gym if you want huge gains, youfit is for members who just wanna stay fit. So now I just jump on the treadmill for an hour, and get out of there. I found myself in the gym for 3 hours, most of the time was spent waiting on a machine. Thats too long after an 8 hour day. of work. You should have a time limit on machines.
