First time here and it was absolutely horrible customer service. My appointment was for 1 PM, I came in at 12:50 PM. After realizing nobody even noticed I was there I had to knock on the door for some attention since I heard chitchatting on the other side of that door , the lady responded with “we’ll be with you now”. Who can relax getting a facial when the esthetician does not stop talking. I heard her entire conversation in the waiting room!!!I sat back down in the waiting room and around 1:10 PM another worker comes out (me thinking she’s going to call me in) and sits next to me on her phone. She tells me “oh you have an appointment with Tati” which I responded with “I have no idea who I have an appointment with since no one has attended to me….How long will she take since my appointment is for 1 PM?” She says “she was finishing up with a client”. No worries I thought maybe she was falling behind. After another 5 minutes of waiting (1:20 PM , 30 minutes waiting in total) The worker sitting next to me gets up to go remind the women chatting behind the door that she has a 1PM appointment (me) which she responded with “I did not have anyone for 1PM” I immediately got up and left after that comment. Horrible customer service.

That was one of the worst massages Ive ever recieved. The person I had wasnt even trained in Swedish massage. The facials are cool but dont waste your time coming here for legitimate body work.

I have about 5-7 years going to Ananda Spa and it never disappoints. The extractions are thoroughly and they take care of your skin much better than other places I’ve been. They take their time to do my services to the best of their abilities. Always go above and beyond. The shopping center parking is the only negative I have to offer. The service was great, mostly Spanish speaking, but very professional and clean. She explained everything she was doing, only used products good for my skin type, and even made recommendations for home products to use regularly. They honor Groupon/discount prices and are fair priced even without it. Very happy with my service.

Great place. Very friendly and courteous staff. My wife and I were on vacation celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had a rough day maneuvering through crazy Miami rush hour traffic and a few floppy tourist plans so not only was the massage a great relief, it was a great massage and wonderful customer service experience. I am very disappointed with the way they run their business. I had made an appointment a week in advance as a birthday gift and they called/text me the day of to confirm. I am a nurse and I work 12 hour over night shifts. Which I had done the night before. So at the time of the call/text I was sleeping. Just 30 min after they called/text I get a message that my appointment was cancelled. I found it unfair that they are confirming the day of and cancelling with in 30 minutes of not getting a response instead of calling the day before like most places. When I called my spot was taken. Didnt get to experience a massage but with the way they work Im glad I didnt.

It is located in a strip mall, but it is very clean and modern on the inside. They were nice, but not welcoming like most spas offering you a robe or something to drink. The facial lady was ok... she explained every step. I asked about the products they use and I personally have never heard of any of them. The beds were so hard, they do not put a towel over your head and the music was a bit loud.This is not a spa...staff needs alittle more training and provide the clients with a true spa like feeling (pampering and relaxed).

I want to start by saying that it takes a lot for me to write a negative review about a place/experience. This place only deserves even one star because my first experience here wasnt nearly as terrible as my most recent one (for the second experience, I would give them zero stars if I could).I was given a Groupon for this spa as a gift by someone who isnt from Miami. When I arrived for my first appointment, I was a little bit skeptical because the location isnt the greatest. The interior when you first enter is nice, but as soon as you go to the back, you begin to realize how/why the price of the services is so cheap. The beds are not very comfortable - theyre pretty hard and the room is kept cold, without a very substantial blanket or cover. That being said, the younger esthetician who did my first facial was excellent - she was extremely knowledgable, easy to talk to, and did a great job - my skin was glowing the next day and I was pleased - it got the job done.Fast forward 2 months, and I have my second (and most recent) appointment. When I walked into the spa (if you can call it that), the first thing I heard was a dog barking loudly in the back (within the facility, not outside). The dog proceeded to bark throughout the appointment and was sitting in a stroller with one of the employees when I walked out. This second appointment was with a different esthetician (the name on the receipt said Reyna). I have never been to a facial (including the first one at this facility) until this one where I havent been asked to put on a robe. The lady proceeded to crassly tell me to lay on the table (I wouldnt really call it a bed) fully clothed and paid no attention to whether or not I was comfortable. I have a pretty arched lower back and I have never been to a massage, facial, or other similar experience where the esthetician did not provide a pillow to put behind my knees to relieve the tension on my back. The sheet that she put over me did nothing to combat the fact that it was FREEZING inside of the facility. She proceeded to wander away for 10+ minutes, came back in, and then slathered something on my face. She didnt even bother to put a headband around my hair to make sure no product got in it - I had just washed and blowdried by hair that morning, and had to do so again later that day to get everything out of it. She then proceeded to wipe this substance off of my face with what felt like a dirty dish rag, which she dunked in a grimy, discolored plastic bowl. She then turned on the facial steamer, put it entirely too close to my face, causing my face to go numb from the heat, and then left the room for another 10 minutes. When she came back, she adjusted the steamer position and then proceeded to loudly type on her phone with the keyboard volume on for the next 5 minutes. When she was done texting, she turned the steamer off and began extractions. She dug into my face for the next ~10 minutes without adding any moisture/additional steam/anything else. After about 5 mins, my skin was dry and I could feel her tools literally destroying my skin (my pores have never looked more stretched out, and I have never before had hyperpigmentation and scarring on my skin following a facial). She then, in some order, cursorily ran the microdermabrasion tool and high frequency over my face (maybe 5 mins total). She finally very unevenly put a mask on my face and proceeded to leave again for the next 20 minutes (I timed it this time). The entire time she was gone, I could hear her loudly talking to the other employees in the next room. She came back in, wiped the mask off with her rag, and then told me she was done. I honestly could have given myself a much better facial at home. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to go to a better spa, as this one is grossly lacking in both the skincare and relaxation benefits of a facial. I personally will not be returning.

I first visited Ananda Spa a month ago for my first facial. I was nervous about my treatment but Hilda Bello answered all on my questions thoroughly and explained everything she was doing to my face. She asked me questions about my skin type and offered me tips for how to control my acne. Ive now visited her twice and every single time I am amazed with their service and how amazing my skin feels afterwards. I always look forward to my facials! A friend told me about this place. Ive been to many spas for massages in the past and I can tell you I had the best experience in this one. As soon as I walked in the massage therapist was extremely kind with me and made me feel welcome, he was very respectful and asked me about my preferences and needs. The massage station is very cozy and cute. Now, the massage, that was something else my friend! If you are looking for a dedicated massagist that pays attention to details regarding your needs, trust me, this is the place! The guy that assisted me was Ariel (ask for him!) I felt like my body was floating in the air when I got out of there lol. I went 3 days ago and I still see the results and feel relaxed. Money very well spent, totally worth it! I had several days with a lot of pain in my back due to my position for eight hours in an office. With just one session of Shiatsu Massage I could feel the great relief in each of my muscles, by exerting pressure on certain points I could feel how all the tension was released.
