This place always is my go-to place when I need glasses cheap and convenient!!! The people are also very nice.

Went in to get an exam, ended up paying $45 for someone on a computer handle my exam. The person on the computer was constantly switching lenses way to fast and did not give you half a second to properly examine the different options. They gave me a wrong prescription. Manager had told me as you get older your prescription gets better. I did not even want to bother getting a recheck due to them getting it wrong the first time. Dont waste your time or money on this place.

Excellent service from the minute I arrived for my appointment. Elia helped me chose the correct lenses for my frames that I brought with me. She also helped me chose and order my contact lenses which I had never worn. Mark did my examinations and he was great as well. Very patient with me when I was trying on the contacts. 7 months later I returned without an appointment and they took me right in. Once again, they both made sure I had a very positive experience. The worst experience and the most traumatic one from a health location !The store in 87 SW and 24 is the WORST OPTICAL store ever !!! The sales manager lady and a lesbian customer service girl ( short hair) are the most unprofessional team ! The both talk really violently , loud and in a very aggressive attitude. The store ambient is super toxic !!They sold me glasses without doing the proper measurements and without the proper tools !! Trying to get ride of me quickly ... I went to that location and it will be my last time !!!Wake up Eyelab Corporate Offices !!!! Look at your sales people’s behavior!!!! That is why companies go out of business!! Please do not ignore the signs !!!The sales manager in that location should be fired !!! As well as the manager that allows such a bad behavior!!! I had my eye exam done at the cutler bay location and wasn’t satisfied with the service. I came to this location and was helped by Hannah and she worked with me and had the doctor recommend good contacts lenses that would work for me and my budget. She went out of her way to offer a special when I was ready to get glasses because I wasn’t ready to pay for them that day as I only wanted contacts. Everyone was very nice and professional. Definitely going back!

I had a great overall experience from my moment that my daughter walked in to buy her new designer eye glasses. The manager was extremely helpful in helping us decide the perfect fit for her since she’s only 9. We will pick them up in 10 days with her prescription.

Honestly, the staff was OK nothing out of the ordinary. i set an appointment and mentioned MULTIPLE times that I had insurance and my provider recommended me to go there. When I got there, a lady mentioned that my eye exam is only a 10$ copay, but i needed to spend a minimum of $160 on frames. Does that even make sense? I ended up paying $45 out of pocket because you need to meet a minimum of 160 to pay another 10 for an exam. its sad because Im a full time student and worker and had to really ask weeks in advance and make sure it wasnt exam day to come to this appointment. Not to mention, I had several questions regards to my vision and when i asked the doctor that was projected on the TV screen for the exam, she kept avoiding it and told me to only focus on reading the prompted screen. I guess doctors only work there for a paycheck and not the well being of the patients. I had gotten into a car accident and wanted to check my vision to make sure it didnt get effected. Its cool though, I got my prescription released and would probably never go there again.

Made a appointment for 6:45 pm and when I get there they said they don’t have appointments for 6:45 pm and that it was a lie they didn’t even bother looking me up in the system. Will never go back horrible customer service and waist of time

I dont know if its just me but these people had me waiting for 2 hours for what should have been an in and out prescription update.The service was completely fine. They sat me down for a moment I had all the tests done quick and Claudia was great.The only problem was the wait for the optometrist. The process was different since it was through a web cam and skype. The process went well and it was thorough.After, I sat down and waited... and waited... and waited. Nothing. I end up asking Claudia several times what going on.The optometrist either had some sort of technical difficulties for sending over my prescription or something but my experience could have been better. Hopefully it wont happen to anyone else.All in all this place would have won my 5 stars if it wasnt for the wait.Edit: Thanks to Claudia taking care of me with great customer service, Ill give this place a second chance.

They made a pair of glasses for my sister and when she got them it seems that they are the wrong prescription because they are too strong and when she went back to have them check the doctor just told her to read the smalles line and that was it but she gets a headache, watery eyes when she wears them she pay more than $200 and they wont even check and they were so rude when she went back again.

I went in the store not knowing anything about My Eyelab. Yosvany the general manager took time to answer all my questions and helped me tremendously! I needed new glasses a complete pair with new frames and lens. Ive been to other eye glass stores all around Miami and this was the best! In fact Yosvany was so patient answering all my questions and gave me his very kind knowledge in response to all of my concerns. I think when its time for him to get an employee review he should get 5 stars and a pay rise! Yosvany helped me pick a new pair of glasses that I really love! This was the best experience Ive ever had getting glasses and Ive been wearing glasses since my teenage years! I have told family and friends about this store! My experience with My Eye Lab is horrible. I ordered two glasses. The ordered took a month to prepare a simple pairs of glass. They never notify when the order is ready. My first pair was crooked and it was delivered like that. After requesting the pair was replaced. When I went to receive the second pair there was stain between the glass and frame and after requesting to clean it. The attendant chipped one of the glass at the corner. Now I have to wait at least 10 days to collect and dont know what surprise is waiting for me!! I was so mad that I could help myself writing my first ever google review.

One of the worst ongoing service experiences, find another store and company.I was seen for my eye exam but then decided to obtain glasses elsewhere which was a problem for the store. After 1 hour my prescription still was not ready, so they said they would fax it to me, unable to email... I have spoken with 4-5 different employees since then, all saying they will fax it to me, all have failed at different faxes provided. I have spent at least 4 hours collectively trying to obtain this prescription. Still do not have it.This store was unreliable. I actually searched several times online to see if the store is a scam or front. During the actual exam they were very nice.

AMERICAS BEST IS WAYYY BETTER! STAY AWAY!I shouldve read the reviews before coming. I was ROBBED BLIND! Just like everyone has said.. they lure you in with specials and then you leave paying soo much more.. in my case I thought I was going to pay $99 for contact exam plus $50 off frames.. I left paying $225. So heres a list of everything that was wrong with this place in chronological order:1. I asked about the frames I saw online that are only about $19-$29, the lady there said she doesnt know why they show them online bc they dont have them in store. So I said oh so Ill order them online and she said can you?... shouldnt she know if she works there?2. One of the techs after I signed in took me to a room without telling me why and started to do all these machines on me.. again without telling me why.3. Same lady from #1.. I guess she does front desk? Tells me when Im ready to let her know, so when Im ready she was using some strange spectacle machine on a different customer, off in the back waiting area.. which seemed... not right? to me..4. This is where it gets good. I finally sit down to check out and hand her the frames I picked when A DIFFERENT CUSTOMER comes up behind me to complain about how HIS order was wrong and she proceeds to help him RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME5.when I mention the special, i had to first pull it up on my phone and then she asked to look at my phone and then she told me I need a new phone bc my screen is cracked................................... apparently its only for certain contact brands (of course mine wasnt included) and between one thing and another, she tacked on a $49 membership to my bill, that I will probably be calling corporate to have refunded.DO NOT COME HERE!I dont even know if anyone will read this review but at least I did my part.

PLEASE STAY AWAY THEY ARE SCAMMMERS.. don’t go there my boyfriend went to an appointment and they said that a promotion and the doctor told him that he could pick up whatever he wanted, and when he got the glasses they told him 400.00 it was what, they told him you need to pay 139.00. For something else. What promotion for 59.99 They Ripp You Off. He paid the eye exam which was 45.00 and it was for free what scam was that. This business should be reported to BBB. Don’t excuse yourself writing silly answers after this comment. Shame on you hope this place shut down this place soon.

Please dont be mislead by this place. I got my glasses 4 months ago and the glasses got messed up. I went back and they said no worries all our glasses have warranty all you have to pay is 20%. Turns out 20% was the whole purchase of the glasses. I stormed out. I am so dissapointed. Please take your business elsewhere. There scammers.we work to hard for our money to give it away to this company. Please do not go here.

The worst customer service I have ever come across. The contact lens deal with exam is a bait and switch. Horrible. Spend your money anywhere but here. North Miami location is even worse.

So I went in for the $99 special. Upon arrival I was asked what I was there for I responded contacts. I was then taken to another room and asked to sit they started taking measurements but did not clean the equipment in between this was the first thing I noticed. Second thing I noticed was how I wanted colored contacts and was told the special only came with regular I then asked for my contact prescription to be given to me on paper and was told I could pick it up with my contacts. I was suppose to get the solution and the case along with my purchase I was given just my contacts. Last thing the lady that finished my visit was so pushy with her own side buisness she kept trying to get me to get her services (financie advisor) it was so uncomfortable. Then the day I went to pick up my contacts only one man asked if I was being helped and helped me the other two woman that were there suppose to be helping customers were to busy bickering one was this same financle advisor the other was new.the doctor was extremely kind though and all the guys in scrubs were also kind. I wouldn’t come back though tbh. The whole experience as a whole just was a no for me 👎

Didnt know when I made the appointment that it would be a virtual dr giving the exam through a webcam. I have been wearing glasses for 30yrs and never had trouble taking an eye exam. I kept telling the dr I couldnt see during the exam and that something must be faulty with the equipment. She didnt care and just kept repeating, Which looks better, 1 or 2? How can you tell which is better if you cant SEE either?!After the eye exam, they had me test out a pair of glasses with my new perscription and I couldnt see a thing. They told me I should take the eye exam again. This was after being there 90 minutes. At that point I said no thanks and left without a perscription.

Normally it takes a week to get glasses finished, but no two weeks and after reading the reviews Im not too hopeful theyll be in by the 22. Also, the doctor had no idea what was the equipment used for seemed very inexperienced, and no ray bans, not the best variety of brands and not worth the price better off at for eyes.

Terrible customer service. I have my glasses (2 pairs) done at the same time, and both were wrongly done with a different prescription, the first time. Later, the reflex shield started to pill off and they do not take responsibility and want me to pay again. I went to another store, and never go back to this place.

Thanks to all the people who attended me at the time I needed their help. After I was denied vision screening at Walmart.On this site (My Eyelab) they received me immediately, they checked my eyesight, I waited a few minutes to receive my prescription. Im going to recommend that place to my friends.
