First, I would like to say that every staff members personality gets 5 stars.A patient likely also considers the quality of the diagnosis/treatment and wants it done in a timely manner.I suppose that maintaining a medical license for decades means they know what theyre doing, medically.Waiting an hour to see the doctor suggests a poorly run business. Good for them that theyre so busy.

Horrible experience. waited 2 1/2 hours in a crowded waiting room. Its like a factory there. didn’t sanitize the examining chair after last patient. Dr. rushes you. Find another doctor that cares.

The surgeon was professional and knowledgeable made me feel at ease during the procedure.i am very thankful for that but the billing staff is something else. I distinctly told her that my insurance will take care of the center fees she went ahead and charge my card and refuse to give me back my money my next step is to contact my lawyer. The cat and mouse game is not for me. Thats the reason for a3 star

Dr. Howitt came highly recommended from several colleagues, and he did not disappoint. He took time and patiently answered all of my questions. He then let me test several lenses to find the perfect ones for my eyes Great visit. Great to be able to see perfectly again.

Dr. Gianmarco Paris was not only extremely professional but also he was knowledgeable enough to give me the peace of mind that other doctors were not able to give me. He took the time to explain tomy husband and myself my case and all the options available for us to analyze. I strongly recommend you to drive, and never hesitate about your health. He is one of the best doctors I have ever seen since 2001 that we moved here! Thanks Dr. Paris you really make a difference in the healthcare field.

I rarely write reviews however I havent always had the best experience with doctors, and my experience with Dr. Howitt and his staff was so good I wanted to share. I needed an urgent matter taken care of and was able to get in right away, and the initial arrival and intake was so personal that it really felt like this placed cared. Then Dr. Howitt came in and took his time, where as a lot of doctors these days feel like they have something else to do next.I highly recommend this office for their personal care as well as expertise!

What a great experience! The office staff was very friendly, the technicians were caring and the pre-operation instructions were very clear. Best of all,I no longer have a cataract. When I have to have my other cataract removed I will definitely return to Howitt Eye Care.

Howitt is very disrespectful. My experience today was horrible. The technician was very professional and respectful, I hope that she finds another job where the doctor has respect for all patients. It is now like an assembly line factory. Years ago when his uncle operated the business, it was a pleasure to go there. He was very respectful to his patients. This one is just into the money, and has become very rude and cocky. Please stay away from this doctor.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes and everything went very well, both before and after the procedure. They do see a lot of patients but the visits were all very fast.

Although the doctor seems knowledgeable and capable of doing a good job, he has unfortunately chosen a path of maximizing profit over care. The office resembles a factory. Patients are checked in normally and then the assembly line treatment begins.First, you are brought in to see a technician that as quickly as humanly possible runs you through a couple of simple tests in small rooms that are shared with other patients and technicians. Then you are placed into another waiting room with other patients for a few minutes. Then, you hear your name called from a distant location. You dont know where to go until you hear your name called again down the hall. You follow the distant voice to find the doctor calling for you and directing you to wait in another room. This room is private, but you will only be in there for 90 seconds. This room is where the doctor performs his portion of the exam in record time. He even has is pleasantries planned and summarized. No later than you are seated, you are back to the second waiting room. There is no way the doctor could notice any details within your eye in the manner and speed with which he conducts his examination. You might as well just look at your eyes in the mirror and make your own diagnosis. A few minutes later, you will be called again to either pay and leave, or run through another test if requested. They also bill for everything upfront, which makes sense, because if I had known the kind of treatment I was about to endure, I wouldnt have paid.During my visit, the technician did not perform the correct test the doctor requested and in his rush the doctor did not make the technician perform the correct test and instead just worked with what he had. This was a huge insult as I had paid for the correct test and the doctor knew I was hearing the whole conversation as I was standing right next to him. At the end, as the doctor was writing in my chart, he took a phone call and could barely figure out what to write as he stumbled through the phone call. In my 90 second exam with the doctor, he was so rough with my eyes, that they actually hurt when the anesthetic wore off. Between my lack of confidence in his clean bill of health for my eyes and the pain he inflicted upon them, I made an appointment with another ophthalmologist to make sure my eyes were undamaged. This office is surely profiting immensely, but its at the cost of the patients care and if not already, will surely one day cost a patient their sight from careless treatment and diagnosis.Appointments are of course always available here, even with short notice, as no time is spent on the patients. The most time you will spend there is in the first waiting room before you are checked in. I am inclined to believe that all of their patients are first time patients as I cannot imagine anyone voluntarily returning.Steer clear of this location and these doctors. Your health is not their concern.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The office staff is friendly and very professional. Dr. Howitt is very knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Howitt and his staff are very professional, and it is always a positive experience when I have an appointment. Dr. Howitt was the only eye doctor who discovered there was something wrong with my eyes. If it was not for him taking the time to do more studies, I would have had vision problems as I aged. I am truly grateful to him as he was able to put me on a daily regimen of medication and save my eye sight! I would highly recommend Dr. Howitt to anyone who is in need of a caring and conscientious physician.

Dr. Howitt is the definition of quality care. His bedside manner is one of a seasoned and caring professional who takes a personal interest in his patients. He asks questions and doesnt rush thru the examination process. He takes time to explain each test and examination so you dont felt like a test subject rather you feel confident and assured you are under the care and treatment of a healthcare professional dedicated to making your life better. I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Howitt and his staff. They are good spirited and dont treat you like a piece of meat or a number. Id recommend Dr Howitt Eye care to anyone who is looking to see a compassionate and professional ophthalmologist. Dr Howitt and his team care and it shows. He doesnt just take care of me and my family, he also takes care of my parents and sister and has become one of our trusted healthcare advocates as it relates to our eyes.

If i could give negative 1000 stars, I would. I went into Howitt Eye Care as a recommendation from my eye doctor to get a huge chalazion removed. The doctor was very nice but as I was leaving, the receptionist asked if I was vaccinated and I informed them that I was not. Her whole demeanor changed and she informed me that the eye doctors do not do surgery on anyone that is not vaccinated. This completely caught me off guard because I have NEVER been refused service because of this. My chalazion was huge and very painful. I could barely see and the pain I was in was almost unbearable, and the doctor clearly seen this. I then had to go to my regular doctor, where I then explained what happened to which even he was shocked about. I had to wait almost 4 weeks after this incident to get my chalazion removed by Dr. Fernandez at Eye Surgery Associates. She is amazing. I am 17 years old, underage, so even if I wanted to be vaccinated, it is not my decision. It is my parents decision. My parent isn’t the one with the chalazion on their eye, I am. So refusing service to a minor for a decision they have no control over? very sad. I respect the decision of this private company but I do NOT agree with it. I assume the Hippocratic Oath isn’t held here at all.

From the worst centers I visited. For more than an hour and a half, you will wait for an examination before you do not see the doctor. Bad treatment and worse than bad. Think a lot before you decide that you are doing business with them.
