Horrible. There should be somewhere thats says you are not taking walk-ins. They said that there was no guarantee i would be seen and there are no appointments available for this week online to schedule. I had an expiration date for this test and came on my day off. So I checked in as a walk-in to see if I could be seen and I had to register online, but it was giving me problems so I asked the guy to help me, he said he didn’t know what to do and they cant help me. What do you mean you cant help me register? The guy has no clue what he is doing. He said his manager doesn’t know and can’t put in my information manually. So They gave me a paper and said to call a number. I waited for almost 2 hours and was not seen, nobody helped me and I was on hold for a long time when calling. Ridiculous. Waste of my time. Unprofessional.

Their service is atrocious!Make an appointment of 1:15pm. It is now 2 pm and there are 12 persons in front of me.If you can afford it, go to any private lab.This company has absolutely NO respect for your time and schedule.Might as well draw your own blood and take it to another lab!!Today Is my 3rd trip to this location and this company.IT WILL BE MY LAST!!Heed the warnings.DON’T COME TO QUEST !!!!

Appointment time is not respected. I made an appointment and confirmed it via their electronic check in. Upon arrival I had to wait one hour beyond my appointment time. Many frustrated people, waiting outside in the Florida summer . Get your act together and respect client’s time

I came in like a walk in, it was good and I get it 10min after they opened. Now, if you’re walking I recommend to you to go at 6:15 like I did because they don’t care if you were there for an hour, they are going to take you just if all the appointments are check out (it doesn’t matter if their appointments are 30 min later)

I got an appointment and was in and out in 10 minutes. It was PACKED so I was surprised that I was able to accomplish this so fast. Make an appointment, all the technicians were busy non stop, most of the people that work here are my Cubans so be nice and they’ll be nice to you in return otherwise be ready to camp here all day.The Miami Beach location is empty but they will kick you out even when their office has no one, you have an appointment and the technicians are gossiping.

It’s easy to see when a service provider cares more about money than the service itself. They overbook patients and allow walk-ins, only to tell those with appointments that they’re always running late and your appointment time means nothing. In essence, it’s completely normal to be waiting one hour+, even with an appointment. They have a screen with estimated waiting times that are much lower than what you end up waiting. Mine said 8 minutes for 25. The rooms inside have no doors and patient information is discussed aloud, a clear HIPAA violation. Quite honestly the worst place I’ve gone to get a simple test.

I was told to drop off my frozen specimen. I’ve been waiting for over 35 minutes just to drop off and I have to pay for parking since its been over 30 minutes. This place is a joke. So not only did I have to wait when I first came a week ago to get my test package, now I’m waiting for a drop off. Sitting here, waiting. No one even said I needed an appointment to drop off so my name keeps falling from 4 minutes to 15 to 9. Still here, waiting and now paying for parking because it took so long. wow. I waked in with my Barcode in had & the lady at the door stated she could not find me on the list. I informed her that I booked the appointment this morning at 7:41am & her list mustve been printed before I booked. She stared that it was printed at 6am when the door opened. Well, theres the problem. I showed her my qr code & appointment info & said still kept insisting on the list. Its a good thing I checked in through the link while I was out side & my name showed up on the TV listing everyones names & if they were walk ins or appointments smh

Like many others have stated they do not respect appointment times. I had to wait almost an hour after I was scheduled to be seen. Another person in the waiting room had an appointment for 10:30 am and he was still waiting at 12:30 pm for a simple breath test. Others who were there to just drop off samples were waiting 30+ mins. They have no front desk with a proper receptionist. I will never return to this place ever again. Please save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

The walk-in process is terrible. They literally take ALL appointments for the day before serving and walk-in patients. So pretty much a useless location for drug screens. If you just doing a quick drug screen or check up, go somewhere else.

They should reflect actual waiting times on their screen, I have checked in and the wisotng time was 15 minutes and its been two hours now and their screen is showing 7 minutes remaining for the half hour or more.. at least be honest with the actual waiting times.

New tech spoke no English. 35 minutes to get 5 tubes drawn. Tech had to continually leave the room to get help. Occasionally another person, I assume the trainer would come in. Extremely confusing to not be able to tell tech anything. I know he had no English skills as when I told him a few things, he still did it his way. It would be nice if people serving others in the population could speak the language of the country. Unfortunately I have no chopice of labs as my insurance is contracted with Quest.

Quest is not honest with their walkin policy. They say they accommodate walkins however they force you to wait in to 100deg Florida heat bc walkins are not welcome in the air conditioned waiting room. Then, you will wait indefinitely. If there is availability, instead of taking a walk-in, they will accommodate an early arrival. For example if there is availability at 9am, instead of accommodating the walk-in who arrived at 7am, they will take the person who arrived early for their 930 appt. The supervisor Lazaro confirmed this. This is not accepting walkins and they need to either change their policy or be honest and state they don’t accept walkins. This is unsafe and a waste of valuable time.

This is not acceptable my sister went to take a blood test on 03/10/2021 @7:30am and the nurser that helped her was vey rude and unprofessional. My sister try to give her the order from the doctor which did not belong to the University of Miami and the nurse told my sister that if the doctor did not belongs to the University of Miami she will not do the test, but guess what the nurser went ahead to performed the test and my sister did not know what type of blood test was done because the nurser did not take the orders from her. My sister only knows that she did a urine test, but about the blood test we dont know.We know the hard work that the nursers are doing, but this does not give them to be rude and unprofessional with any of the patients.I was not going to give any start to this Quest, but the system will not let you continue unless you choose a start.I hope that this will help to better the services at Quest Diagnostic. I was told I needed blood work done while at my doctors appointment this morning. After calling the location closest to where I was located and getting disconnected, I decided to walk to the location near the doctors office since it was only 5 minutes away. (1050 NW 14th Street, Ste 10A; Miami, Florida.)Upon my arrival, the security guard promptly informed me that I needed to have an appointment. I showed him the paperwork from my doctors visit and he spoke to the phlebotomist.The security guard and phlebotomist decided to make an exception to allow me to be seen.After I signed in, an employee in the front area began speaking to the security guard in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish but could tell by her tone and body language that something was not right.The security guard came over to advise me that I needed an appointment. I asked to speak to the supervisor, who turned out to be the spanish speaking woman with the unpleasant tone.I explained to her that I am pregnant and live an hour away. It is not possible for me to return the next morning. I admit my frustration due to walking in the rain only to be turned away.The supervisor barely made eye contact with me as we spoke but she remained adamant that I either return in the morning or schedule an appointment. To make matters worse, there was only 1 other person in the waiting area. But, the supervisor was unwilling to accommodate me in any way.I had blood work done last month that did not require an appointment. I simply walked in during the day. I was treated with the utmost respect. That experience was in stark contrast to this one.While I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, there is no reason to disregard customer service and some sense of humanity.

I read all the bad reviews prior to my visit and didnt encounter any bad service. I was 15 min early, found parking no problem right behind the building, checked in through text and followed their directions. The phlebotomist, Jessica, was very nice and accommodating. I asked her to change gloves, she did happily, i asked her to label my tubes in front of me, she did happily, she also confirmed what labs i would have drawn, prior to drawing them. That is excellent service.What i did observe is a woman showing up 30 minutes late for her appointment, becoming indignant when they told her she would have to reschedule or wait, and then demanding to speak to the manager because she thought she should get special treatment and bump those off us who were on time for their appointments. I bet she leaves a bad review.I am here to say this place was clean, has good processes in place for appointments and check-in, and friendly, pleasant staff. I commended them and the lead tech on her handling of the situation i observed.

Quest probably has the WORST customer service EVER. I was greeted by 2 employees who were not only extremely rude towards me for no reason, but also shut the door in my face, TWICE. I called customer support and the lady that picked up the phone wasn’t very nice either, refusing to give me even the bare minimum amount of help. I’m never returning to this place and hope people see this to avoid going through what I went through. Worst thing is I wasn’t the only one being mistreated. I felt completely disrespected as a customer.And I hope I don’t get a reply from the “owner” asking me to contact Patient Advocacy team at [email protected]. Instead I advice the “owner” to work on actually fixing the problem which is the way Quest’s employees treat their customers.

The supervisor was not nice. They do not have customer service skills. They do not try to help. I went several time and I experience the same treatment. I have seen and witnessed firsthand on how they treat patient. I am appalled at this location. I would rather travel mamy miles to a different location than to ever come here again. The wait time was not too bad and the bloodwork was done quickly, but they refused a sample my doctor sent me to submit. Later I learned that they actually should have accepted this sample, but the people working there were misinformed. Had to spend extra time and money.

Hello there!Let me tell you about my experience.I walked in to this location this morning 9/16/19. Waited until called and served by a friendly staff member. When it was time to collect my urine sample for a non-supervised test, I went to the restrooms, waited because both were being used; when it was my turn, I did the regular practice and while being there, I got some knocking at the door. I responded It is taken.a minute later, I got another knock, responded again It is taken and a third stronger knocking, now I responded with what is the matter, it is taken . When I got out, I see the person responsible just walking toward another person and asking him to walk into the bathroom to get his drug-test. I told her she was so rude and totally ignored me - neither apologized.At this moment, I have my doubts about the staff having the right training and professionalism to do what they do. If a simple expressions of manners is a problem, how clients can be sure we are receiving a professional medical care?Hopefully, Health Industry professionals find the path to hold the ethic required to their title.Thanks,

Been waiting here all morning. Apparently corporate does not approve of printing lab orders as its a waste of paper. So since they only had the order on PDF format and not entered into the system, its an issue. If your primary language is Spanish, you have a slight advantage, but even Spanish speakers are getting abused. You might be better served having your barber handle the blood letting, mine even has a warm towel!

The idea of accepting “walk-ins” is a TOTAL LIE. EXPECT to wait as long as 3 to 4 hours, since unless someone cancels there is no chance of getting in. A suggestion to accept at least one walk-in per hour was dismissed with “the system can’t do that”. Worse than OUTRAGEOUS

I hardly ever take the time to leave reviews but felt I had to on this one, I walked in at 8:20am and had issues scanning the barcode on exam slip and asked for assistance from the person working there and was rudely ignored with minimal assistance. I signed in per instructed only to come find out an hour later it hasn’t gone thru, when I asked for assistance a second time around the same person ignores me as I asked them if they could better direct me since it seems their sign in system isn’t as helpful as it should be . Only to get a rude nod from the person as if I was bothering them. POOR customer service skills. Not sure why certain individuals work in such fields if they will only mistreat people the way I was here this morning. To top it off I had to wait an additional 78 min since I wasn’t initially assisted when asked. Ended up having to pay on Parking when I thought I had come in early to leave in the same way. They should better train their personal to have better people skills if this place will last open.

This was one of the most horrible experiences ever. The place was dirty, full of screaming dirty looking children running around with parents not controlling them. There was a child with a full colostomy bag running around touching everything. The place literally smelled like human excrement. I arrived and checked in 15 min before my 11:30 appointment and at 11:45 couldn’t even find a live person to check me in. One person with an appointment from 10:30 was still waiting at 11:40 unable to talk to anyone. I ended up walking out.

Really mediocre experience here.We had to change phlebotomists because the first woman had no idea of how much blood could be taken at one time from my wife who weighs 80 pounds.The next tech had to call around to other locations because nobody here had this information. It seems like it should be standard fare for phlebotomists to know how much blood can be safely taken from a patient.After multiple phone calls, the tech found out that only half of what they wanted to take was medically recommended of the max daily.

I always come as a walk-in, and while its expected to wait longer than someone who might have made an appointment, the wait isnt terrible. I went around 10am on a Friday and check in was quick on a tablet. I think I waited less than 15 to be called and was out quick. The clinic is clean and the staff was friendly. I think those that left a bad review were probably in a rush and went at a bad time. Obviously if you’re a walk in, you have to go with patience.

The most inefficient lab I’ve EVER seen. Called to schedule specific test. They said they did it. When I arrived, they said they don’t have it for a few days. Despite my orders being in the computer for this test they didn’t have, they did not call me. I waited 45 minutes to learn this, they then sent me 45 minutes away to another lab. Terrible. Pick another location, and try your Quest luck there. Quest luck=good luck!!!

Not bad! I read the reviews and overall thought this location seemed better than the others despite some mixed feedback. In general, the place was ok. When you walk in, there is a sign in the reception window that says to sign in. Yet, under the window it says the staff member is helping someone else so no staff is actually in the front reception room. After waiting a few minutes, I realized there were sign-in kiosks to the left of the reception window. It wasnt very obvious at all and the least they could do would be to put an arrow or sign. A few patients after me had the same issue, they would wait at the window and later realize they could sign in at kiosk. This is only reason they didnt get 5 stars. After this, the experience was pretty decent. I got called in as a walk in within about 40 minutes and the staff was polite and professional once you were inside. Area has free parking for 1 hour and then it is $5 for 2-3 hours and is surrounded by places to eat.

You make an appointment ahead of time, and show up an hour before your appointment, you register at the front desk and they will have you on a screen worth your time, the wait will be more than 2 hours, the staff is terrible to answer questions, the place is clearly understaffed. Results from my lab work came back incomplete because samples were “not sufficient.” Now I have to pay again for new tests. It would’ve been nice to have been informed my samples needed more quantity.Staff will not help you if they see you at their front office window. They will look at you as if are annoying them & then tell you to sit and wait. “Please go away,” pretty much.Terrible service and organization, staff is very talkative to themselves, which makes customer wait time longer than it should be.I will not return here.

Quick and easy, good staff. Took my little brother in for some blood tests soon as you walk in you must sign in on an ipad/electronic tablet of sorts. Once youve signed in your name will show up in order of arrival on the tv screen located in the lobby and estimated wait time aside your name. I must add that the wait isnt long at all, they have multiple people working efficiantly, more than enough to keep it moving. There were about 8 ppl ahead of me and i wasnt there for more than 20 min. Lobby is clean and organized, highly recomended. 👍🏻

Had an appointment at 9:15a. Checked me in at 9:16a. The phlebotomist had to stick me 3 times. The first 2 times were needed but the third time was unnecessary. I also did a 2 hour glucose test, after the 1st hour they are suppose to draw blood but nobody cared, I had to go find someone to do it. When the 2nd hour came, again somebody had to draw my blood but nobody came to get me I had to go get them to do it. There was a lady doing the same test I was doing and I noticed that somebody came for her when it was time to draw her blood so Im not sure whats up with that. Overall I received good service at that location. I couldnt locate Quests parking lot so I parked one block away in a paid building for 3.5 hours and paid $8.

What a joke. No one speaks English here so therefore cannot answer any questions or concerns you may have. I have full coverage insurance and never paid for lab work before but the lady in the front desk insisted I had to leave a credit card with her for estimated bill which I might not even have to pay for until my insurance gets approved and could not answer any questions about this estimated charge. Most professional facilities call before to the insurance and verifies this so theres not this problem. How un professional this place is. Ive Been to many quest labs and this one should be removed and not even carry the name of this company. Im sore from giving blood on my arm which I have never been before. . I will never go to this quest again and if anyone can go elsewhere I would highly recommend to do so.

Went there at 9am without an appointment for lab work. I was called in at 9:30 to give a urine sample then everything slooooowed down. Overall I had a good experience at this Quest location. I went on a Wednesday morning and signed in as a walk in and within 15 minutes I was called by the phlebotomist. Mondays are very busy and the wait time is long. The ladies who work there are loud so dont be surprised when you hear them. Theres free 1 hour parking at the civica shops parking lot.

What a nightmare. Ive been here for 2 hours, still havent been seen. The staff is rude and unhelpful. When they say well call your name shortly they are just trying to get you away from the window so you can leave them alone. It will take hours to get your blood work done. Plan accordingly.

First visit and hope last one. They don’t have front desk staff so you don’t Know if you’re in the right place, and also I had some questions about the tests but I couldn’t asked nobody. If they don’t have enough inside the room the staff did a great job with my kid. Suggestion: if you dont have staff in the front desk to attend the public then you shall provide enough information signs on the walls in order to follow your office procedures

Very poor customer service, I waited for over an hour. They asked me to complete the check in again, I never left the waiting area and they said they had called me 5 times, lies!! Because I complained for the long waiting, the phlebotomist got upset and was very rough with my vein.
