Went there with my son the other day…EVERYONE was super nice,the nurses were great,our doctor was amazing! He really took his time to explain in detail everything I needed to know,didn’t rush a bit. Answered all my questions and I couldn’t be happier! It’s such a big difference between the emergency room at Nicklaus children’s hospital! Where I will NEVER go again(we had to wait 4.5h to see a doctor)! At the urgent care we were taken care of in 30min! This is the place I will always keep in mind first from now on!

This hospital is good but the people working at front are just sitting there and make you wait and there was only one person there with a baby and they had them waiting there for no reason they should have faster services for people with emergency problems

I came in to get my son checked out because he was ill. The wait was kind of long but I understand that they see people in the order of the severity of their condition, so it wasnt so bad considering.The staff that helped my son once we got in were super nice and knowledgeable and gave me extra tips to relive my little slugger of being uncomfortable.The facility was clean. The rooms were clean as well and had adequate supplies. There are no issues with parking as they have a parking lot in the back.Overall we had a good experience here. Hopefully, I have no reason to take my son to urgent care (knock on wood) but should I have to I would certainly come to this location as it is close to my house.

My daughter had a few doctors appointments in this building over the past couple of years. Parking is always my main concern coming here: it is hell! They have valet if you are willing to pay, but for us regular people who know we are simply going to see the doctor and not top the Theater, this options does not work.

Ammended Review:The last two times we have gone, the staff has been incredibly helpful, and have facilitated moving through the process so much quicker. A definite improvement that we are all grateful for!2 years ago:The staff can be really helpful when they want to be, but this place has more unreasonable rules about when they can and can’t do stuff that are insane in general, and untenable for a working parent. We’ve been coming to do outpatient x-rays here, but planning to look for a new place. Geographically convenient and procedurally not.

Faster than an ER and more pleasant too. Dr. Leslie Miller is an amazing physician. The staff was lovely and the facility is top notch. I didnt feel like I was in a waiting room at all.

Unfortunately I had to visit this place for my daughter when she had a fever. At the reception I was informed that the deductible will be 75$ and that will be all and my insurance will cover the rest. While I am waiting for the doctor she did submit order to do a list of tests, despite the fact my daughter didnt need any. Anyway when the doctor arrived she informed me the my daughter has reseola and she doesnt have to do anything and just to wait for 3 days and everything will be fine. Later on I received 2 invoices: 1- $75 for the doctor 2- $200 for the unnecessary test. I called the billing department and I explained the fact the I was informed the copayment only $75 and the tests were requested before the doctor diagnosis my daughter and I should not be responsible for the additional charges, however they did not cooperate and insisted that I have to pay both charges. I feel that place was opened only to generate revenue, even if that was done by misleading the patients or Adding additional (unnecessary) tests in order to make money. After my bad experience with this place I will not recommend them for anyone and I hope they dont overcharge other people they way they did with me.Really disappointed how they use patient to generate money instead of helping them. I wish that day that I went to any other urgent care who will really see me as a patient not a money machine.

Me and my wife were here from Houston with out three sons, my son got a big gash on his head. They acted quick and passed him back, placed numbing gel on his head and proceeded with 3 staples. Fast service, the best nurses great sense of humor. Michael Phelps it man. Lol the best ever would definitely recommend.

My son goes to therapy at this location. My husband and I absolutely love this place, love our child’s therapists as well as the staff working the front desk. From the minute you walk into this location you are greeted by the security, and even the cleaning staff greets you with a smile! They exceed customer service by 100%.

The staff other than the doctor were great. Doc was terrible, was in the room under 2 min refused to do any workup and proceeded to tell us, not to worry about the rising fever.. he wont ever die from it, fever dont kill brains. 🤔 In some broken down English, mind you. Im not a doctor ... but 102+ fever I think should be checked out. Our son his having trouble swallowing and grabbing at his throat, even made himself vomit, but his throat is absolutely normal, nothing irritating... 🤔I wish we hadnt wasted our time or money... off to our doctor first thing in the morning. This place always disapponts, I thought urgent care might be alright. .. nope!

Last week, 10/29/19, my son and I went there to treat a shoulders pain, but my son had a bad reaction with the injection medication called Toradol. The Dr. Sunil Bochare neglected to treat my son and discharge him saying it was nothing! My son had red eyes and bumps around the eyes! He risked my sons health!! Thats unacceptable coming from a real professional doctor!!

Great experience from the entrance to the exit. The staff and nurses worked quickly but not rushed. Nurses were caring and took time to build rapport. Dr. Cardona had a great attitdue. She was caring, knowledgeable, and professional. She took the time to build rapport and make sure our daughter was properly examined and cared for.

We rushed in on a Sunday afternoon - my daughter had cut her leg open, I knew she needed stiches and I live in the Design District and this was the nearest child clinic located near me.Let me tell you about this place!This is the second time my 9 year old has had to have stiches. The first time was at Aventura hospital - she almost ripped her leg off.Today she cut her leg open. Yes she is a tom-boy!I walked into reception and the lady behind the desk immediately helped me - of course there were a ton of forms, but they immediately took my daughter and her 2 friends to the back.None of the nurses gave us any attitude. The Nurse who saw my child was so caring, she got down to her level, and spoke to her like an adult. She gave my daughter options! She explained to her that they could use a numbing cream to numb the area before giving her an injection into the cut to numb the area before the stitches. Of course this is what she chose, and this is what they did!I was amazed! We sat for 40 minutes with the Nurses diligently applying the numbing cream to my daughters cut, twice in all - until her cut was completely numb! AVENTURA HOSPITAL DID NOT DO THIS! They traumatized my child.Once this was done, Dr. Guerra came in and again explained everything she was doing and got to work. She allowed my daughters friends to stay in the room and watch the procedure and she spoke to them like she was part of the family.The whole procedure, and the process was a total pleasure! I would have paid everything I have for what I experienced that day compared to what I had experienced before at Aventura hospital. Not to mention the way we were treated. We were treated like humans, not like animals, and looking back, I realize that my child benefited so much from this experience that she isnt so fearful of medical professionals as she was before!. Kudos to a job well done guys.

Awesome experience from the security guard at the front to the ARNP and doctor. Made me feel comfortable about my childs situation. I felt they were very knowledgeable and patient. Worth the trip from Broward.

If you think your child may have a broken bone dont come here. Its a waste of time. Take him to the emergency room they place permanent cast if you need it. After spending a couple of hours in Urgent care I have to go to the emergency room and spend a couple of hours there now. Because the place where they referred me to call for a permanent cast dont have appointments until next week. I think they should refuse to see you and refer you to an emergency room immediately if they know they can not put permanent cast. Its totally a waste of time and it only benefits them to charge my insurance.

Ive always had quick friendly service. The doctors were funny with patients easing any anxiety and patient with any questions I had.

There is no doubt the staff is caring, however thats not a bench mark for greatness -- they behaved like amatures during my visit and have a lot to learn about managing their emotions. Id say this would be an Okay place to go if your child has a cold or fever, but nothing more -- maybe a splinter ;)My child was breathing heavy (saw a trained pulmonary specialist who also saw her breathing heavy too) and I just wanted to make sure her O2 levels were ok, so I took her in. The difference was the pulmonary specialist knew what was wrong, checked her vitals, while the doctor on call at this place clearly didnt have a clue and over reacted, ignoring the fact her vitals were perfect and the history of the child. They inflicted great fear upon us, called an ambulance to take my daughter to the ER -- for what turned out to be a cold!!! that made her breath heavy. This place is a joke and all in all, terrible experience.Its worth pointing out, the doctor here is terribly rude. He should be dealing with Pets instead of humans.There is also no Wifi available and no reception (via At&t). I needed to make an emergency phone call, also receive one from my childs Pediatrician. Was not possible using my phone. At&t needs to address this, but it seems its a structural thing with the building because reception was fine outside. Consider deploying wifi for safety reasons. But they first need to address the terribly, terrifying, fear provoking doctor.

I did not have a good experience. The front desk person was the only one who seemed to take her job seriously. There was a lot of laughter and joking and loud voices. I felt like we were at a nightclub. They said they were going to do certain tests and didnt. Then they said they were running a urine test but it was still sitting in the room on the counter with us and I could hear them outside the room laughing about losing it. They finally sent someone in with new container and I showed them the one they left there. Everyone was scattered and loud and not organized at all. I will never go back.

Emergency is so fast you dont need to wait long time.

Went here last night at 9pm got in the back was told they would be doing a test that takes 45 mins at about 9:45 I said ok being that the facility closes at 10pm I assumed it u are in the building u would be taken care of . The nurse comes back at 10:05 which is only 20 mins later saying its came back negative and that its just a infection I said ok ..thinking I would get prescribed a antibiotic for my son that wasnt the case they told me keep giving him Motrin and have a nice day no discharge papers or anything this was my first time and last time I will got to Joe DiMaggio like i had in the past ..I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS CLOSE TO CLOSING TIME !!!!!!!

Excellent place to take the child and find tranquility to their needs! They should only change the waiting chairs in the emergency because they look old and chipped and that looks bad, for the rest my experience has been wonderful in this place! ❤️

Fast and uncomplicated service, in addition to English, they speak Portuguese and Spanish. Very attentive and close to Miami beach. Close to Publix, which has a pharmacy and for antibiotics we were able to collect them for free upon prescription.
