Stay away from here. Very unprofessional. If you don’t want to be treated unfairly by the staff including the dentist that goes by Dr. D’empaire, than stay away.Not only were the receptionist rude and combative and done nothing to help, the Dr. is incompetent and does not care at all about the patient.Dr. D’empaire was scheduled to extract my wisdom teeth, was able to remove the bottom two but left a root that was still in my jaw because she snapped it off the teeth and was unsuccessful on removing it. I let that slide. After suggesting for me to heal at home not doing any work for 5-7 days, I needed to partner with my jobs 3rd party medical leave company in order to get my days approved. Not only was she refusing to sign and fax any documents in to them, her staff was yelling at me that she isn’t going to do it. I finally found the dr. Phone number and contacted her. She played coy and blamed her staff that she was unaware with the situation. While going through the document we went back and forth on what needs to be placed on the form and she denied saying I needed days off after oral surgery, but changed her story when I sent her written documents of the suggested leave that she recommended in her writing. This took 2 months to do with constant back and forth. Finally submitted the form. The form was not written properly and the third party needed her to change the 7 days to just two days needed off because that was the days I missed, instead of the recommended days. The third party medical company tried calling her and her office with no response along with me directly texting the dr for that help because she said to contacted her if things needed to be changed. Finally I texted her that I will come in on Tuesday when she’s in to discuss and change things and she sent me a rude text after ignoring me that she wasn’t going to do it, and to stop texting her. I proceeded to tell her that she was being rude and unprofessional to a client that paid money to get the oral surgery done and she proceeded to state that she’s will not change the documents cause she wasn’t going to say I needed off for a month, even though I asked her to change it to 2 days off, not the original 7 days she put. Obviously she cannot read and understand the multiple voicemails the examiner sent her, my text or the form. Her comprehension in literacy baffles me since she’s a dr. After all. She threaten to call the police if I went there to resolve a needed issue. Because of this I will now loose my job. I told her I will contact my lawyers and she was condescending and responded “perfect!”. Truth be told I have all the responded text messages between her and I, recorded my conversations with her and recorded conversations with the examiner explaining how her and her staff is and what needed to be done but she refused. If I could give a negative star to this dr and this place of practice I would.Response to your review: There is no lie here, I asked you as l as the third party examiner to change it to less than 7 days. The issue here is that you barely understand 3rd grade literacy which is embarrassing. There is no lying or threatening here. It is you who are lying and threatening. Thank god for audio recordings and screenshots through text. My lawyers are drafting paperwork and you and your business will be served; be aware. Don’t play cot when it was you who are negligent and do not care about your patients but money. Also, do not lie about my tooth. You showed me my X-ray stating that it doesn’t show much in my jaw but told me you accidentally crack my tooth and could not remove the root in my jaw. So please. Don’t lie. You are a fraud and so are your entire staff.

I have been going to South Dental at Doral location for about 10 years, will not go elsewhere for my Dental services or treatments. I have recommended my family members and friends. I wan to give a special Thanks to VICKY the office manager for alway providing the best experience and excellent customer service. Also to CLAUDIA and KIMBERLY for all their help and outstanding customer service they provide to my care and to all the Dental office staff that have put up with me and my care. This place is nothing but the best. I was welcomed with open arms by the entire staff. Dr. Mejia was incredibly diligent and precise on ensuring that my needs were met 100%. He would constantly validate his efforts to ensure I would not encounter an issue once I left the office. I felt as though he is a perfectionist which is great considering your teeth are the first thing anyone looks at when you smile. His assistant Sarah was the sweetest and most welcoming person I have ever met. Every minute of my time there was met with ensuring I felt comfortable and aware of what was going on. Vicky the office manager was also very welcoming. She would continuously give me updates on what we can do to ensure the maximum output from my insurance.

First time at this dental office and I was very satisfied with the service and hospitality. The staff is so nice and kind! Made me feel so welcomed and accommodated all my needs. I have been going to South Dental offices for over 10 years for my regular cleaning and different treatments (root canals, crowns, fillings, implant, and orthodontia) At the beginning started going to the one in Pembroke Pines, and for the past 4 years to the one in Doral. I dont have any complains about them. Their customer services exceeded my expectations since the first time I step their office for the first time. They always try to accommodate your schedule as you need it. The entire staff is super professional and courteous. I have recommended many family members as well as coworkers and their feedback is always positive.

This dental clinic appears to be friendly with receptionists who call you constantly to remind you for your appointment. Make sure you ask them how much their service cost before you get any exam. Or if you are lucky like me, the dentist tapped on a few of my teeth and charged me over $200 for their amazing service. So if you enjoy waiting 30-45mins for your appointment but only spending 10-15mins with a professional dental specialist and going home with a hefty bill this is the place to get your teeth checked out.

Wow I cannot say enough great things about this office. They have taken care of me since the first time I went. Vicky the office manager and Dr. Miller got my appt. to see a periodontal Dr moved up to expedite treatment for a possible root canal. Everything has been cheaper than expected and today when I got my 2 large cavities filled they had me stay to fill 3 more on the opposite side since another customer cancelled. Thanks Dr. Jennifer! Lol Everything has been a great experience with this office from the management, the doctors, and even Jennesy at the front desk who is always smiling and helpful. So far 3 visits, 3 exams, 5 cavities filled have all together cost $170. I do have MetLife ppo but thats still pretty cheap!
