Just moved to downtown and was looking for a nail salon. I went to 2 different close by and they didnt had time even tho the salon was close. I got to STUDIO D, they took me right away, offered coffe, all the staff is nice and Sonia did magic on my nail. The prices are really correct. Definitely recommend this place !

I was sold a hair product .... and it wasn’t correct. Not what we asked for. Owner begged to cut my sons hair. The manicurist cut my kids cuticles repeatedly and he was bleeding the whole time!! I got my hair done and asked for my hair curly and I got it straight. They did not speak very good English, so it was pretty hard for us. Would not go back, AT ALL!!!!

I had been to Studio D many years ago when it was still much smaller. I moved out of Miami and I was visiting this week and came back. I was so happy to see how much it’s grown, and yet the same warmth and quality. Dinho saved my hair. I have been wanting a cold blond over my black hair. When he found me, it was brassy, strawy and dry. When he left me- the color was supreme and glossy, the perfect cold hues to match my request. He and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and were not rushed- really tried to let the color set to get the color I was seeking. I don’t live in Miami but will be booking with Dinho everytime I return!

So I just moved from New York to Miami and I am very picky with my hair. I didn’t want to leave my place in New York but decided to give it a shot and I’m so glad I did!! The service was amazing! They gave me a complimentary hair treatment and gel manicure too. I also got layers and a glaze and it came out better then I came in asking for! I plan on going back in a few weeks to get bayalage and I can’t wait. Would highly recommend to everyone!!

Highly recommend it! This was my first time visiting Studio-D, and Im happy I did. The place is clean and beautiful, and most importantly, they do an amazing job! From the receptionist, who is very attentive and nice to the nail technician and hair stylists, Im very pleased. Dinho gave my hair a great wash and treatment and Ricardo an amazing cut and blow dry. I wasnt sure on what style would look best, and Im glad I listened to their advice. The nail tech Nidia is amazing as well. She was very nice and professional, and my nails look beautiful! Luke is a masterful stylist and does a great job with my ultra-fine but very thick, Northern European hair. About 6 months ago, I came into Studio D out of desperation after I got a terrible haircut elsewhere. They were open late and I was his last appointment of the night. Thank goodness I met him because he saved my dignity. I’ve been going to him ever since. He’s not only a great professional but also quite personable and genuinely wants to know his clients. I highly recommend him.I’ve also utilized Studio-D’s Brazilian mani/pedi services for a few years now and I have always been satisfied. They keep me looking great.Overall, I’m very happy with this business and welcome opportunities to tell others about it.

If I could give zero star I would, am living in downtown area, and trying to find salon that I can visit regularly. At first the lady answered the phone was always polite and sweet, that given good impression. I had 2 services done at this place, one is Shellac manicures and 2 days later, more than 2 nails broke, first time happened in my life such bad quality; another is haircut, the hairdresser probably tried to impress his skills, during the entire process I did not feel comfortable at all, as he was pulling my hair very hard. Any way, at the end check out, I was told the bill is $130 dollars, just for manicure and 10 minutes haircut and quick blow dry. As my hair is very straight already. Since I went the gym in the morning, washed hair at home before head there. They don’t need to wash it, so there’s no shampoo wash cost. The lady still said the same price and treat me like tourist. Anyway, still I have given extra $10 dollars tips, didn’t except my nails will broke after 2 days. It’s a joke this salon.

I am pretty picky when it comes to haircuts. I have never had a better experience cutting my hair than here. The salon is good but for us guys it really comes down to the guy who actually does the job. Ask for Aldo, he is excellent and he is the only reason Ill be a regular at this place. Such a relief to finally find someone who does a perfect job.

I got a haircut there last Tuesday evening, I didnt like it, next day I told the guy, Im sure he was defending his work, when he said he liked it, my complaint was never about his work, it was about me not liking it, he said he was busy all the way till next Tuesday, I talked to the manager to get me something sooner with someone else, I went there today, to find out the same guy is to fix my hair, the water was cold as the service, and although he said he had 15 minutes to fix my hair, not that I care, it only took 5 minutes, maybe he was having a bad week, I definitely am. If I wasnt so adorable I would understand the guy hated me! But beautiful facilities and employees specially the manager Julian

I rarely find good salons. It took me two tries. The first one was horrible. I had no idea why they hire some stylists which are rude and give horrible styles without consulting their customers. I then asked a friend about this salon only to be told to try Betto. FYI, I have no idea who my initial first stylist was but Betto is AMAZING! Always ask for him because hes frank and very good at what he does. I am very fussy and I thought it was very refreshing to find an amazing stylist in Miami.

Big waste of time. I went to down town thinking that I could get a decent hair cut, without considering the costs. Unfortunately, I took my hair to this studioand regret it completely, the stylist massacred my hair and refused to admit it . My advise: Dont go there, they suck!

I was looking for a salon for a quick repair for my hair and stumbled upon this tiny salon. I was very excited to go, I popped in to see if they had anything available. As soon as I walked in everyone stared at me, not even a hello or welcome. I walked to the cashier to see if they had anything available and they did, Come back in 2 hours.I was so excited I went 20 minutes early to see if maybe they can wash my hair in the meanwhile as my stylist was ready for me, but I was wrong. i waited those 20 minutes to sit down in the chair and not even get a wash. The stylist barbarically ran his fingers through my coarse un-brushed hair several times. He then cut the back of my hair as if it was a straight line and finished in (exactly) 9 minutes. I then asked him to please cut my bangs, since he completely ignored the front of my hair. He cut them and said he was done. NO WASH, NO SPRAY(MIST), JUST CUT AND GO. I probably could have gotten better treatment at a male barber shop! Then when I go to pay, I always, regardless of situation, leave 15% tip. So I noticed he did not even bother to give me his business card UNTIL he noticed I gave 18% tip! He then handed me his business card when he saw the tip, and said Please tell all your friends about this place. Well TRUST ME, I AM.I was treated unfair, and was practically rushed out. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had visiting a salon. I encourage anyone that is considering this disgraceful salon to THINK TWICE! I will NEVER visit this salon EVER AGAIN and believe that anyone I know, friends, family, coworkers, business partners and financial advisors will STAY AWAY from this place!Studio-D is a horror spot for any lady looking to be treated fairly. Aside from the negative review, I even overheard my stylists (as they like to call themselves) speaking spanish, racially degrading another American woman in the shop. I WILL NEVER RETURN, even if offered free services.

Im coming to Studio-D since I moved to Miami last year. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. But I am particularly impressed by my local hairdresser @JamesManini. If you want someone who can handle even more difficult hair and the haircut will last a long time, then this is the place for you. I travel and work a lot abroad and I know a lot of hairdressing salons and hairdressers, but none of them has a haircut as long as James. Therefore, I am ready to wait for weeks after the extra week, until I come back to Miami, so James again missed me a beautiful and long-lasting haircut. :) In addition, all in the Studio-D next to the Classics are always synonymous with current trends, try sometimes something out and advise you really excellent. Im really, very satisfied!
