Second time I tried to get a mani pedi here. The first time, I waited for 30 mins past my appt time for them to tell me that it will take another 20 mins for my turn. This time, the nail technician canceled and they did not call me to let me know. Horrible!

They are all top notch, professional, and fun to be around. When I get highlights, there is no brassy tones and it grows out with a natural look. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and look forward to each appointment.

Wouldn’t suggest getting your nails done at this salon. She didn’t seem fully aware/proficient in the process for acrylic nails. They also didn’t have great machines for drying your nails, so we had to redo mine. I left after an hour and 30 minutes because my patience had expired. On top of this experience, they quoted me a $30 difference over the phone.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Went to get manicure and a haircut. Asked for layers in the back and to go a little short. My hair came out terrible. I have long hair to being with and requested nothing to be cut from the bottom which he wanted to and I had to SAY NO 3 times. My hair consist of two parts now. One long and one clump of of short hair chin length all around. What kind of cut is this? There is no transition of the layers in my hair. I can not wear my hair straight because the cut looks choppy and just TERRIBLE and I can not wear it curly because it looks like a mess. No flow to my hair.Horrible job.Please hair stylist, IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING, FIND ANOTHER CAREER.

I love this place. Patricia is amazing. Shes easily the best stylist Ive ever had. On a negative note, this place can get very busy so its smart to leave time for parking and the salon running 10-15 minutes late.

They have prices on the list but then you asked how much they charge whatever they want if they think you are new or you don’t speak Spanish, I live close by so I use to go there, I stopped because she did it once I was like whatever and then Second time so I asked her why you are giving me different price she goes ohhh we have to update the list. Which is just white paper

Great service from the attentive staff the minute I walk into the salon.... I feel like I am part of the family :-)I am very particular about who cuts my hair and I found a hidden gem with Patricia Barone at this salon. Patricia puts forth the extra effort and takes her time to ensure I walk out of there with exactly what I want, and then some. I highly recommend Patrica and the staff at Roberto Giordano Salon....

Great Salon! Been coming for blow dry for a couple years. Recently discovered hair stylist Sheila, and from now on- I do not want anyone to touch my platinum Blonde Hair! She is amazing. Also, the rest of the staff makes you feel like home, and very welcoming! Look no further! thank you

The salon is charging me a monthly membership fee without my approval. They are using the credit card I have in the system, but I didnt sign any membership. Im trying to solve this issue, but the owner is refusing to talk to me and they dont answer my emails.Please be careful with this place.

I checked this place out as they had an opening within 2 hours , and it was directly across the street from my condo. Sandra was great and I even managed to learn a bit more Spanish while I was there! $60 for a mani pedi is a bit more than what I’m used to in Chicago ($35-45) id like to see a bit more put into the service aspect for me to come back and spend the same amount, but great for convenience and the place is super sexy

Made 2 appointments for 9am for my daughter to have mani/pedi together. Showed up promptly at 9am and they seemed surprised that we were there. My daughter was taken first and I was told I could go with her. I was not informed that there was only one manicurist working. At 9:30 when it was obvious they were going to do us back to back, I questioned the receptionist, and she said the manicurist was just now parking and would be 10 more min. At 9:50, when I still had not been taken, I questioned again because I had only allotted 2 hours (which should’ve been plenty of time). This time I was told my manicurist wasn’t scheduled to be in until 10. She finally arrived at 10:30. So needless to say, I didn’t get my mani/pedi and paid a very overpriced $75 for my daughters. What should have been a very relaxing and wonderful time of bonding turned into a very stressful and upsetting experience. Will not be back!!! If you value your time I DO NOT recommend this place!!!

As you can see from other posters, they do not honor appointments. The stylist Armando has cancelled 2 of the last 3 appointments my wife made, this time for our daughter’s birthday. Very sad to see people with no respect or professionalism, and worst is they don’t care! Stay away unless you derive pleasure from being mistreated by people to whom you give money. These people are evil!!!

Ive been going to this salon almost since it opened. But my last experience was unacceptable and the worst hair salon experience Ive ever had:The bad experience started before the appointment. I had made an appointment for a Saturday and called the day before to change the appointment date as I was not going to be able to make it that day (things come up, this happens to everyone), so I changed it to the next Saturday. Shortly after, I get a message from the hairdresser herself, not a manager or receptionist, saying that the salon will not give me more appointments on Saturdays because they lose money. I could not believe this. I just replied by asking if they were going to honor the other Saturday appointment I had just made, and got no reply from her. So the day before my Saturday appointment, I called them to confirm I still had it, they told me no so I asked if there was space to make one at 9:30am that day. They are usually full if you call the day before, so I was surprised that they told me that there was space at 9:30 am for what I needed to get done (root touch-up and blow dry). Of course I was happy, since I also had an event (that I had to help host) that same Saturday in the afternoon.I get there Saturday morning and check in, then I am greeted by Paola (the hairdresser) who tells me that there was someone waiting before me for a haircut so I had to wait and she told me it was going to take about 20-25 minutes. So since I had driven there from Broward I decided to wait. I waited 45 minutes.She does my root touch-up and then tells me that she was not going to be able to dry my hair because the next appointment had come in. Why she didnt make them wait just like she made me wait? And Ive also been a client of hers for many years! This blew my mind. I could not believe I had to make the decision of going to my event with WET HAIR or having to ask if someone else was going to be available to dry my hair, and risk getting to my event LATE.I decided to ask, if someone was going to be available soon to dry my hair, I was told that a lady that just started working there was going to be available in 5-10 minutes. I chose to wait for her. I waited 35-40 minutes. I was livid inside but just wanted to have my hair dried and get to my event and get on with my life so I just stayed quiet and let this lady do her job. But to make things worse, apparently she does not know how to position herself to dry womens hair because she had me twist into the most uncomfortable and painful positions I had ever had to be on for a blow dry. She took longer than Paola usually takes, so I wasnt happy about that either especially when I was already going to be late for my event.I went straight from the salon to the event, which was at about 15 minutes from the salon (in Wynwood) and I ended up arriving to the event at 3:30pm. The event ended at 4:00pm. All this horrible service is completely unacceptable. Also unacceptable having to be there for over 5 hours for a root touch-up and blow dry, when this normally takes a little over 2 hours on my longer hair.Needless to say I am heartbroken and disappointed that this happened and will never go back again. Now after many years of going here I will have to find a new hair salon to go to and trust.

High prices and I did not get the experience or service I paid for. Had an appointment and they shuffled me around to 7 different people (not exaggerating), took excessively long, made racist comments in Spanish about my skin (I’m Latina and I understood everything), got dye all over my face and hands, and they charged me almost $400. Manager made excuses and never apologized. No thanks.

I went for a mani-pedi. The appointment was at 10am the lady arrived at 10,45. It was raining a lot so..ok, it can happen! But then she had to catch up with the following appointments and she rushed mine, hurting me and the result was a mess!! My 6yo could have done better. I complained with the manager and she agreed with me, she gave me a credit and reassure me that I would have had a different nail stylist. So I came today: app at 10, the lady arrived at 10,30 and guess what??? The same lady of the previous appointment!! I speak with the girl at the front desk and she acted annoyed and impolite. The manager still wasn’t in the saloon, and I guess this is the reason why everyone was so unpleasant with costumers. I have to come back tomorrow because there weren’t any other stylist a part of this lady!!!!!!!! I will come back for the only reason I have a credit but I doubt I will receive a good service.

Awful!!!! I made an appointment at 6 with my hairdresser that just moved to this salon and they had me waiting for 40 minutes. 30 minutes into, I went to the front desk and told them and they still had me waiting for 10 minutes. Them I left.....unreal!!!!! I guess Venezuelans never fail to be late.

Absolute worst service ever. A couple friends and I had a huge event coming up, so we made a mani/pedi appointment for 3 people. We confirmed 3 times that the appointment was for 3 people over the couse of several days. When we walked in, we were told that the appointment was only for 1 person even though we had just confirmed 2 HOURS AGO. Then the staff was very unhelpful in trying to find a solution for us and barely apologized. They didnt even admit their mistake. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE I KNOW AS THEY ARE CLEARLY INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Dont waste your time visiting this salon, groupon or not, for hair or nails. In the long run, you will only be wasting your time and money and leave unhappy and frustrated.I had to stop going to this salon in April of 2015 because the ONLY (and Im not exaggerating) decent stylist who can use a curling iron BURNED the bottom of a $1,000 LOUIS VUITTON handbag. The salon owner Carlos Echeverria and his ignorant manager described below,Lorena Villacorta, did nothing to handle the situation.Adrian my preferred stylist had left. I found 2 new girls I liked, 1 I found because she had to fix someone elses mistake. I have had 2 stylists there try to curl my hair and had to have someone come teach them!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoy having my hair burned off during a training lesson. The front desk manager knows me now since Ive had to complain so many times. The previous time she didnt even return my phone call. Even better, Ive since learned how to curl my own hair since I got to watch so many of their stylists learn at my expense. AND when the manager didnt call me back about my hair it was my birthday and I had to have a friend fix what I thought I was paying a professional to do.BE CAREFUL! Find a good stylist and call in advance or you wont get an appointment. I was going to go back one more time to finish my groupon package but the receptionist knew who I was and literally told me there was no stylist who could do my hair the way I want it and they were understaffed. NOT MY PROBLEM! Half the time the stylists dont even speak English. I highly suggest finding some new employees, including a manager who knows what customer service is.

The service and attention is lousy when you use groupon.The service and attention is pity when you use Groupon!I do not understand what agreement the owner agreed with his employees but since you call to make the appointment begins the abuse and discrimination when they know you are going with Groupon.The first time I went, I was literally attended by an apprentice who lasted drying my hair for an hour and a half, with brushes with broken bristles, which mistreated my hair. The second time I went, the power went out and they DID NOT respect the order of the appointments and put me ahead of a client who was after me but did not go with groupon, and today the same story instead of drying was a blow of hair that made me, in conclusion a DISASTER. And the girl in the box chases you all over the place asking if youre the one who came with groupon.They make discrimination when you go with Groupon, the service is a disaster to be a luxury salon and located where it is.I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYTHING!
