Dr. Shou-Litman is so wonderful, I can’t recommend her enough. I was experiencing extreme first trimester nausea (throwing up every day, fatigued, dizzy, etc) and came to her in a moment of desperation. The first time I met her I started crying (sorry about that!) when she asked if I was feeling alright. I was truly in terrible shape. After 3 sessions i felt significantly better. I was able to stop taking medication, had more energy and felt way less nauseous. I’ve seen the true benefit to her acupuncture treatments and recommend everyone with any issue gives her a shot. I am so blessed to have found Dr Vivian Yi Bin Shou-Litman. Having fibroids the only solution Doctors have suggested was surgery, which I did not want, so I gave it a try with Dr. Vivian and after about six months of treatment the fibroids are significantly reduced in size, which is difficult to believe by many people even me, since this was my first time going to acupuncture, but yes! it is true acupuncture works incredibly! and she has not only been able to help me with that. I injured my right leg and this caused me to suffer great pain whenever I tried to walk or run. After suffering for over a year hoping for my body to heal itself, I was lucky enough to visit Dr. Shou-Litman. Only 3 or 4 treatments later, my leg began to improve and I was able to soon resume my daily running schedule.

I am so glad I found Dr. Shou-Littman at the beginning of my pregnancy. I usually suffer from back pain and carpal tunnel and 8 months into getting acupuncture from her, I haven’t had any flare ups. After dealing with chronic “female” issues for over 6 months and having doctors give up on me, I finally decided to go treat with Dr. Vivian and within 3 weeks, I was healing! Vivian is indeed a miracle worker! I have done acupuncture before, mainly for my anxiety due to the assumption that this type of approach can only help de-stress me, but oh was I so wrong.I have a lengthy history with gastric issues and due to some harsh treatments was left with the aftermath of the wreckage such as nausea, bloating, constipation, vertigo, and the list can go on. It was like a painless magic -- the other day I walked in Vivians acupuncture office with a left shoulder pain that had been bothering me for a few months. I must have got it one night because of bad sleeping posture. But the pain wouldnt go away after several months. I finally decided to try acupuncture. Vivian patiently listened to my story and then told me to roll up my right sleeve and stuck a needle on my right arm in the shoulder area. I didnt feel any pain when the needle stuck in my right arm and I was waiting for another needle to be put in on my left arm in the same location, something like that. But instead, Vivian asked me how I was feeling on my left arm. It wasnt until then that I realized the chronic pain on my left should had almost gone. Just like that! Vivian explained to me that she was applying a method found in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor to treat my pain and apparently it worked, right on the spot! After an hour of treatment, I was already feeling 50% less pain even when she removed the needle. I dont recall how many days it took for the pain to be gone completely. It must be quick as I dont remember being bothered by the same pain after that one treatment. It was like real magic and PAINLESS.

Ive decided to try acupuncture for my migraines, and Dr. Shou-Litman has helped me a lot. I now have less frequent and less intense migraines. She has also helped me with sleep problems due to pre-menopause. I look forward to my weekly sessions with her. It has improved my quality if life. When I leave her office, I feel very relaxed and peaceful.

After four years of trying to conceive I decided to give acupuncture a try after reading many about success stories. I was months away from our first IVF and wanted to begin treatment prior so I searched for an acupuncturist in Miami that specialized in fertility acupuncture. While searching, I came across a number of positive reviews about Dr. Vivian Litman, in fact her site was one of the most popularly generated ones regarding fertility acupuncture in Miami. I decided to give her a call. Within less than 24hours I received a call back from Dr. Litman and we had a conversation on the phone where she began to assess my medical and fertility history, I felt very comfortable speaking with her and excited about my upcoming consultation. During our first consultation, she spent a great deal of time going over my history and was able to pinpoint my issues relating to a poor diet, low energy, progesterone deficiency and PCOS. She immediately recommended a treatment plan which began with changing my diet. She educated me on the foods that I needed to assist in being fertile and living a healthier lifestyle. She gave me in-depth information on low glycemic foods and the importance of properly nourishing the body while trying to conceive. She did my first treatment the same day of my first consultation and she was able to identify the fact that I had low spleen energy. Before I left she introduced me to Chinese Herbs that would assist in boasting my energy and support to my spleen. I modified my diet accordingly and continued treatments once per week for about eight weeks. I cut out diary, high glycemic and greasy foods. I ate mostly protein and good fats. She also emphasized the importance of the body being warm, so I drank lots of caffeine free tea, ate soups, wore socks around the house, and used a water bottle warmer for my tummy while undergoing IVF treatment. I began to lose weight, and I felt great, I had more energy, not just physically but mentally. Immediately prior to the stimulation portion of the IVF treatment, I continued to see Vivian, and based on my improvement she would change the Chinese Herb to accommodate my treatment needs. I think for the last four years I had placed so much attention on western medicine, and treatments and completely ignored the need to be holistically healthy in conceiving.
