Dr. Freed is a 45 minute drive from my home. I would drive 2 hours to see Dr. Freed! I would see him in another state! He is the best, most thorough and compassionate doctor I have ever met. Dr Freed is a very personable man. When presented with my problem he knew just what to do. He cut a callus off of the bottom of my foot and fitted me with a Zentoes U-shaped felt Callus pad. Several years ago he did foot and ankle surgery on my foot and the surgery was a great success.

I have been seeing Dr. Freed for well over a year know for issues with my left foot. He has been absolutely AMAZING! He is very compassionate and understanding. We tried everything prior to even thinking of surgery. Such a relief to find a doctor that doesnt push surgery as a first choice. I am still healing from surgery from last November 2019, but Dr. Freed always gives my encouragement and reassurance. Couldnt ask for a better podiatrist. Thank you Dr. Freed.

Dr. Freed is awesome. He is very caring and compassionate. Great bedside manner. Great surgeon. Had a bit of trouble getting scheduled for surgery. First date cancelled due to my illness. Couldn’t get the scheduler to call me back for weeks. Had to do the whole history and physical visit and consents all over again cause it was outdated after a month went by. Now trying to get a work release from his assistant. Having some trouble cause she signed it instead if him. Lots of calling back and forth. Dr is great, staff is friendly.

DR Freed is excellent - His staff is not as helpful as they should be with their elderly patients who have trouble hearing - especially with everyone wearing masks. I saw a patient try to use the temperature scanner which is really difficult to understand - he got fed up and left without seeing his doctor.the front desk should be more helpful!I said thank you and Merry Christmas as I finished setting up my next appointment - and she said nothing in return. It was the chubby girl with lots of tattoos on her arms.

He was very peofessionak, quick, honest and nice. Best shot giver I have ever had. Hopefully cortisone shots will last 6 months or until I can get surgery. He gave me the options and told me the CT scans will help determine where we head next. I would refer him to anyone with ankle foot issues.

After conservative course PT and CAM boot on R/ankle it became apparent this path was not going to yield the positive result I was looking to obtain. Dr Freed is the best 15 years ago he placed pins in my hubby’s ankle. 5 years ago he took care of our daughter’s broken ankle. Today he saw me for an Achilles issue. He still remembered my hubby. And he was still, kind and efficient and explained everything in easy to understand terms. He is the best. That is why we keep going back to him.

Scheduled appointment for toe care. Big toe swollen and red. Toewas infected. Infection under nail. Remedy was removal of nail.Toe was prepared and nail was removed. The care they took was excellent. The staff worked together to insure that I was comfortable and pain free.

Dr Freed is excellent! I was referred to him by one of his partners Dr Gunzy whom I’ve been seeing several months with foot issues. Well Dr Gunzy told me that in 30 years of practice he’s never seen a problem like mine. Well of course this was disheartening because I’ve been dealing with a swollen, red, very painful, left foot since September 1st, 20. I’ve had steroid shots, was on the Prednisone six day pack three times, was on a one day dose of Colchicine, elevated, iced, use arthritis rubs, creams, gels, & I even had a CT done. And FINALLY when I saw Dr Freed he looked my foot then he pulled up my CT imaging. Which two different physicians & a Radiologist had looked at & said they couldn’t find “anything”. Well Dr Freed zoomed in on the imaging & found my problem or I should say problems right away. Dr Freed was able to put a diagnosis with my foot, & advice a medical plan. Now I’m on the road to recovery! Thank you Dr Freed for taking the time with my case, & not giving up on me 😊

Was very happy with my visit here with Dr. Lewis Freed. I got a specific diagnosis for a condition that is not easy to diagnose - plantar plate. I got the appropriate test ordered to see how bad my condition is, so that I can get the appropriate treatment. He has already decreased the pain right in the office before I left with a procedure involving wrapping my 2nd toe with tape. I even researched my condition after I left the office, and found that I am getting the best treatment!

Dr Freed is an excellent doctor - he diagnosed and fixed my problem quickly. His medical assistants were personable knowledgeable and spent a lot of time trying to get something to work for an orthotic. Though nothing was able to work with my foot, Dr Freed was very fair and refunded me everything related to the orthotic visit. Highly recommend his office. It’s worth the telephone hold times.

Last year I saw Dr. Martin for ACL repair. The entire process with Dr. Martin and the physical therapy staff was phenomenal. I am a professional ballroom dancer and have been back pain free with no limitations to my dancing and teaching. I went back today this time to see Dr. Freed because I broke my foot. I am impressed! Dr. Freed is personable, knowledgable and thorough in his treatment plan to ensure I heal quickly and completely. He is taking into account the nature of my work which keeps me on my feet for hours at a time (and in heels). I have had a great experience at OrthoArizona and have recommended them to many of my colleagues and students.
