Dr. Scott Maling is the Best Orthopedic surgeon Ive ever met. He is truly gifted and skilled as a surgeon and doctor. He fixed my right ankle so Ill be able to walk correctly for the 1st time in 20 years. Looking forward to another 12 weeks and both feet will be like brand new.

I see Dr Montes. Shes great. Shes a very sweet, kind and patient doctor. I say this because I am not an easy patient! She has vast amount of patience for me, spends time with me and always has a nice smile! Shes very very knowledgeable too.

Dr. Harrill is very good but I cant book an appointment for my elderly father. No one ever answers the phone there, you cant book online and there is no email address on there website. Only option is to leave a voice mail message that pretty much says that they will call back within 3 to 4 hours when its convenient for them. I am in front of my calendar now. I dont want a call back later when Ill be busy and not at my desk. I dont want to switch to a new podiatrist But Dr. Harrills office staff is terrible. I need to find a doctors office that doesnt hate patients.

Always a great atmosphere . Pleasant , professional staff. The office staff and back office are knowledgeable and receptive to your needs. Funny group of people.. I was seen by Dr. Harrell. I really enjoyed our visit. He went over my xrays and explained in detail exactly what my problem was. He was very thorough and told me my options. He has excellent bed side manners. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a foot problem.

The office itself was a little dated and waiting area small, however the staff and Dr. Harrill were amazing. Dr. Harrill gave me knew right away what my issue was, educated me, and I left with a plan of action. He was very clear and informative. I was so pleased over all with the whole experience.

I have been going to Arizona Foot and Ankle for several years and I could not be more satisfied. Every person I have dealt with has been courteous and professional. Dr Phiper is my doctor and I have found him to not be most skilled in his treatment of my ailments, but he is also very congenial and informative of what is wrong and how to treat it. Unlike so many doctors who rush through your visit Dr. Phiper takes all the time you need. Definitely a 5-star doctor and office.

Desert Foot & Ankle has been an amazing resource for our family full of podiatric concerns! Dr. Pipher is clear and concise in his care and compassionate with our kids individual needs. I highly recommend a consult with one of their qualified doctors whether you are in need of immediate care or wanting to correct long-standing foot or ankle challenges. My kids quality of life has only improved since our first visit!

The staff was very cordial and informative. Wait time was minimal and the doctor explained all the options available to me. He took the time to listen to my questions and together we decided on the plan to heal my broken ankle. I was referred to Desert Foot and Ankle by a family member and will refer them to anyone I know as well.

I have been visiting Dr. Harill since 4 years. He is treating my foot pain generously and very happy with his diagnosis and suggestions to improve my feet problems.I will recommend him for all foot and ankle pains.

I flew from Missouri back home to AZ with my ankle broken in three places. My husband had surgery scheduled with Dr. Harrill the day of my return. Surgery went well, I was walking again, cleaning, doing a little sewing but the pain never went away. Dr. Harrill reexamine to discover staff infection, which he is inn the process of eliminating. It has been a long haul but he has been by my side all the way. In a few weeks I will be better than ever.

Dr. Pipher is a specialist with the feet of patients who are athletic and active. If you are an athlete, runner, or hiker and always on your feet in high stress activities, I highly recommend Dr. Pipher for your care. He is very knowledgeable, gives clear and easy to understand diagnosis of the problem and how to care for the problem.

The staff were nice, plus the nurse that took my vitals. The Doctor was very cordial and answered all my questions and concerns. Very thorough.

I’ve been a patient at Desert Foot and Ankle for over 10 years and I’ve always been impressed with the staff as well as medical providers. Dr Jason Harrill has a wonderful bed side manner and he’s a highly skilled surgeon. The combination of the two are very rare to come. I trust him completely and plan on having another surgery by the end of the year. To say the least as long as he’s in practice I will continue to be his patient. :)

The doctor was very understanding and very clear and easy to understand what he was stating. His process bunion removal seemed to be the best. Since I lefft his office I have seen a video of a less invasive method that makes only one small incision and you can walk within 2 days! Im wondering if he knows of that new surgery?

I cannot wait for my new orthodicts (sp?) It is worth the wait in their waiting room to see Dr. Maling. He spends time with you and not rush you out the door just to get to his other patients. He tries to spend quality time with each patient that comes in.

I am very impressed with Dr. Harrill. He explained everything that was wrong with my foot, all the options then the whole surgical experience and recovery. All in terms that I understood. He was very gentle, this was not my first go round with a foot doctor, and I was really impressed with how aware he was of my reactions and how kind he was. I also liked his sense of humor. He wasnt super serious, straight lace, wont crack a smile type doctor those type always make me very uncomfortable. Like I said, he explains everything very clearly, left no questions unanswered, but in a very comfortable atmosphere. That, along with how gentle he was is very important to me.The office as a whole is very good. I seem to normally wait a good 30+ minutes for each visit. But Id wait that to see such a good doctor.

Doctor and assistant was great. Front desk staff could be a little more personable. I arrived and for almost 15 minutes no acknowledgment that I signed in. They were too busy sitting around chatting. Being an Office Manager in the medical field for 15 years this is not acceptable. They are the face of the office.

Dr Maling is very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Maling recently performed Lapiplasty Surgery on my right foot and thus far I am extremely happy with my results. The office staff leaves nothing to be desired. They are courteous and professional and immediately attend to me when I walk in. I am immediately inside speaking with Dr. Maling on my scheduled appointments and have never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointments. Just got surprised bill from the office. No one told me anything that I have to pay for this visit even you asked them before coming. Billing practices staff are bad especially “Ashley” super rude to patient. She was raising her voice and argued with you over the phone. Don’t never go there unless you want to have surprise bill to pay.....👎👎👎

Dr. H was very patient with me when I had my ingrown toenail removed. I acted like a total baby with the shots but he kept the mood light and fun to calm me. I really appreciate that kind of bedside manner. I would gladly recommend this facility.

Dr. Maling is wonderful and his medical staff is extremely attentive. Even though they never take you back on time he takes time with you that is needed to ensure the best care. So, if they are late its because hes treating everyone ahead of you with the same care and attention he will give to you. The office staff is not super responsive. I know they are very busy; its a busy practice. But it should not be so difficult to receive a call back.

My experience with Dr Harrill was awesome. He listened to my concerns, put me totally at ease, takes his time, listens, does not rush you and explained my options. Office staff is always friendly and provides great customer service.

Dr. Harrill has very good bedside manner, explains things well, leaves options up to you as it should be. On the other hand, it took 50 minutes after my apt time for the doctor to see me. Three other people came in after me and were seen before me. I understand from a practical point of view but the door was open and I saw them coming in and out and no one from the staff came to say anything. I work in the medical field and keeping patients up to date in what is going on is highly appreciated.

Dr. Pipher is an awesome doctor and I love that he asked me questions no other doctor has asked me before Ive had any kind of surgery and he answered any questions I had to the point that you could understand them. The staff in the office are all super nice as well!

We were promptly taken to a exam room where vitals were taken and wound dressings removed. No X-rays were required for this visit.Doctor Pipher greeted us as he came into the exam room like we were VIPs. Dr Pipher is very personable and always takes the time to answer all of our questions. He also explains medical procedures and terms in language that lay people can understand. Using a foot prop to explain so we can understand medical issues and surgical procedures needed to correct.We highly recommend Desert Foot and Ankle to friends and family. Best experience I have ever had with a Doctor. Dr . Harrill got me in and out of there and did the surgery the same day . He didnt mess around Looked at it and started cutting it out. Process took less than 30 mins and I was stitched up. Go so him he is really confident in what he does :)

Though the lobby is small and usually packed, the staff is efficient and friendly. Dr. Maling is awesome. My youngest suffers from frequent ingrown toenails and the doctor is great at putting him at ease.

I feel my questions are answered and the care is just what is needed for my feet. My feet walk away happy.

Just got a bill from a collection agency from a couple of visits from a year and a half ago. I got no notification from the office that I owed money, no bills sent to me, nothing. As far as I knew I was paid in full. I would have happily paid my bill if I had KNOWN that I owed the money! Very poor billing practices. I do NOT recommend going unless you want a surprise bill in the next year and a half that you never knew existed.

It was a great experience. The waiting room needs to be enlarged. Very cramped with people, walkers and wheelchairs. My only regret is that I didn’t ask the doctor to remove one small callous on my left foot which was overlooked and annoying.

Unfortunately, there is not enough room for me to be able to possibly begin to articulately communicate what an absolutely wonderful person Dr. Harrill is. The man is always, always warm and friendly. His sincerity towards his patients is so very obvious. He is genuinely 100% concerned for his patients well being and for their recovery. Dr. Harrill has a bedside manner (for lack of a better term) that makes you immediately feel comfortable. Between his sense of humor and his way of taking very detailed, very complicated medical terminology and diagnosis and breaking it down to a language and a delivery that makes it easy for a non medical patient to understand. Within that breakdown and explanations is Dr. Harrills no nonsense, direct approach to recovery and healing. He is 1000% patient centered.

Ive suffered a dramatic injury which had been sustained 2 years ago. Prior to meeting Dr. Scott Maling, I had two podiatrist that underwent surgery and was unsuccessful at correcting. Dr. Mailing has taken corrective action and continues to provide ankle care. The staff is very friendly and respects the privacy of each patient. The environment is very welcoming and indeed it is an office you can count on. Dr. Maling and his team is very knowledgeable and is committed to your foot and ankle health.

Lastly, the way he breakdowns your injuries or foot problems are done in an understandable way so that you know why or if future treatment is necessary. I would go to no other.
