I have been seeing Dr. Kavathia for quite some time now. He is extremely knowledgeable and has great beside manners. He cares for your overall well-being being by truly listening to you and what you have to say in regards to how you are feeling to respecting your choice of care that you would prefer to take based upon his findings and what options you have to live a more comfortable like with as little pain/ discomfort as possible. I would not be where I am today of it was not for him. I am extremely grateful to have him as my doctor!

Had a procedure done by Dr Kavathia. The doctor did not perform a pre exam and suggested another procedure. I had the procedure done and had to go to the emergency room TWICE because of the amount of pain and anguish I was experiencing. He had to refer me to a surgical specialist. I explained to the doctor that a more surgical procedure had been recommended by another doctor before having my procedure done by him. He stongly recommended the procedure I had done and told me that it was the least painful of all my options. It was NOT!! I LITERALLY COULDNT WALK AFTER IT WAS DONE. I called about the medical bill racked up due to me needing to be rushed to the emergency room and basically was told its all on me. I would do some thorough research before having ANY procedure done by anyone. All MDs do not treat you on a case by case basis, they simply think a one size fits all approach is the way to go and assume you will be fine. Dont risk your life trusting someone who could care less about your life. Also wanted to update you all on the fact that the office contacted me Im regards to the bill and is putting me through hell and highwater in order to try and get this resolved. I am at the point of contacting an attorney. So done with this location and its staff!! I get upset everytime I speak with someone there. Beware!!!!!!

In summer of 2017 I had 2 doctors tell me there was nothing wrong with me and I simply had the flu, as my health continued to decline my primary doctor and a friend put me in touch with Dr. Nilay Kavathia. Had I not seen him that summer I may not be writing this review today. Dr. Kavathia not only examined everything possible for his field but also demonstrated a compassion and empathy that will assure you that you are in the right hands. After countless visits to doctors, hospitals, and surgical centers I am happy to say I am now completely healthy, on no medications, etc. Dr. Kavathia played a huge role in that. He is the best. If you ever read this, thanks doc!

Have seen several gastroenterologists over the past 15 years and Dr. Kavathia is the best of the best. Not at all surprised that he is a recurring Best Phoenix Doc. He is kind, he is personable, he is EXTREMELY knowledgable and he is a wonderful listener who pays careful attention to all of your symptoms and history to arrive at a suspected diagnosis and schedule appropriate testing and procedures. In addition he explains everything clearly and thoroughly and answers all questions. I cant praise this physician and the Mesa office and staff enough. Dr. Kavathia is another one of the doctors I have found here that truly practice the art not just the science of medicine. PS: It is now 9/3/2019 and I am adding to his review that I wrote over a year ago now that I have been seeing Dr. Kavathia for almost almost a year and a half. He continues to provide excellent care. I have to also add that his medical assistant Debbie goes above and beyond--- always responding to calls in a timely fashion, always with great information and a kind and supportive demeanor. Also a shout out to the entire office staff as well from appointment making to check in to vitals. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and works towards creating a very pleasant in office experience.
