Best spine doctor around! Well worth the long waiting room wait.

I was able to see dr. Taylor today on relatively short notice due to some back ache. The staff was all very nice and got me in and out in a relatively short time including x-rays. As usual doctor Taylor listened to my questions and answered them as best he could.

Dr Taylor was great in explaining the surgery and what he would do. So far my husband is doing great, and very pleased with his results. His nerve pain is completely gone, now just sore from muscles that will get better as he heals.

I was extremely happy with my visit. Dr. Taylor was very nice, respectful, & understanding. I was referred to him by my GP, Dr. Maralee Wagner. She is in the same building as Dr. Taylor. His staff was very friendly & helpful. Lobby was clean, that’s a big sign for me. I am looking forward to getting the help I need. Thank You. Debbie Pierce

My TeleMed visit with the Doctor Taylor was adequate. He was courteous & professional.However, the Doctor did not disern any useful information from my MRI.

Dr. Taylor did an amazing job of resolving my neck issues. We did the conservative measures but ultimately ended with ACDF surgery. He spend a great deal of time explaining the procedure and recovery. It is critical to trust your physician and I have complete trust in the care that Dr. Taylor provided.

After years suffering from stenosis, and being told there was nothing that could be done. Dr Taylor helped me. I wish I had found him long ago. All the issues Ive been dealing with are so much better 2 weeks post-op. He is my new hero.

He is very thorough. He answers all questions asked. He is kind and caring.

When I arrived through the door I was greeted and told they would be right with me. The young lady that checked me in was very awesome and amazingly kind. Upon being call to the back for X-rays, the X-ray tech made me feel as though we have known each other tlfor awhile, he joked and made me laugh as he did his job. Dr. Taylors Medical Assistant was great she made the remaining process wonderful. Now, Dr. Taylor was upfront with me and he explained to me what it may or may not be, but lets look deep and see if we can come up with an answer. He did not lead me on, and I really appreciate thatore than anything. So my overall experience was a great and comfortable one, I truly recommend Dr. Taylor and his staff at Steward Orthopedic Center.

Dr. Taylor says he treats his patients like family members. After a traumatic injury, I was sent to the hospital and met outstanding osteopathic doctors. However, I requested Dr. Taylor, because it is like coming home and when pain overtakes you, there is no place like home. Jennifer needs a raise, please she is so sweet and informative and Kenda is exceptional and needs a raise.

Dr James Taylor is my surgeon.He has done a wonderful job i just had surgery on 5/17/21 he has a light tone he goes over everything with you he answers all questions there isnt a dumb question. Dr Taylor and his staff are all just wonderful my Family Dr Jarvina told me a lot about Dr Taylor and everything that was said is true if your looking for a orthopedic Dr Taylor is the one i recommend

Dr. James Taylor is the first back doctor that Ive seen that can actually read an MRI and not just the report. He also took the time to go over my MRI with me an explain in detail what it meant. Finally a doctor who was upfront and truthful! Quite refreshing after years and years of dealing with mediocre medical professionals.In total, I would highly recommend that if you have back issues go to Dr. Taylor.

Finally in for initial after 3 cancelations! Confirmed my appointment via text link. Surprised when gal called me 45 monutes b4 appt. to ask if I was coming in. Airconditioning was on the fritz and being worked on. They apologized. Will see if recommeded PT fixes my issues.

Amazing surgeon, amazing results! I came to doctor Taylor desperate after trying EVERYTHING! Words wouldn’t do it justice! As a 22 year old army veteran, I couldn’t put socks on, balance was gone, couldn’t stand, couldn’t sit, had radiating pain up to my neck and more. He took me under his wing and immediately after surgery I was back with a BETTER than new back! I was STRUGGLING with this for over a year! It has now been 2 weeks and I’m pain free. The hardest part really is taking it easy! I had a slew of procedures done to include discectomy, laminotomy, and foraminotomy. Dr. Taylor honestly is a godsend. He is busy in the office, so bring questions, be prepared and be patient because he is worth the wait!

Overall a great experience throughout my pre and post surgery of my back. James Taylor was understanding and listened to me as a person who has lived with back pain for sometime. He is excellent doctor. Not to mention the staff was great aswell. Thankyou for believing in me for my pain. Unlike most doctors who just look and say your ok with no sense of decency towards you. Thankyou once again...

First time there office staff was nice and the dr had a student there she was nice and very professional then dr came in he was nice and said need to rule out stuff so gonna run test that was good I will be going back after tests so very one there seems good

The entire experience was positive. Easy scheduling, efficient check in. Got XRays, consult and diagnosis all in one visit. Dr. Taylor knew immediately what my problem was, explained it in laymans terms and ordered physical therapy. I would definently recommend him.

This office is wonderful to work with. They have taken the time to listen to me and everything that is going on and are working with me to get everything fixed. Even with all the problems from my insurance they are still working to help me. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Kavanaugh are great Drs.

Yes I was told what the MRI had to say about my condition. Now I know that I have real problems in my spine. And I now know what to expect and what not to do.

Dr Taylor is an amazing doctor he always tries to go above and beyond for his patients. He never steers ypu in the wrong direction and he is always positive when the patients feel overwhelmed. I would recommend him to everyone i am blessed that I got him.

I feel as though I was dismissed with no signs of resolution. I feel as though the Doctor (Taylor) didn’t listen to my complaints or address them. Wouldn’t recommend this practice, will be finding somewhere else for a second/first opinion after getting nothing from this place.EDIT - Practice called and left a voicemail an hour after the review went up saying they forgot to take additional X-rays and or scans. Very frustrating to just want to get answers and to have to jump through hoops to get them. Made an appt elsewhere. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr. Taylor has been amazing!

He is a 5 star doctor. Ive been in so much pain for years. To where some days i could not get out bed. Ive been to so many doctors. And nobody said i can try to fix you if you want to take the chance. I was so happy that someone acknowledged the pain i was in. And said my problems were real and made me feel like he really cared and wanted to help. I was crying . he understood. I felt so comfortable with him from the moment we met. I believed in him. And i am now two weeks out from my neck spinal surgeryAnd am already 50 % feeling better. Can move my neck without wanting to cry. And with the rain and everything i feel human againAnd havent spent all day in bed since surgery.God put him in my life for a reason. Because on was on my last leg mentally and physically. I havent been able to function. In 4 weeks hes doing my back spinal surgery.And im not scared. He is a gift from god. I believe in him. And i know my future is going to be brighter. All o asked god for was to even feel 50% better. And its happening everyday..I am do grateful and blessed. Dr Matthews was right. Ive known him 25 years he did surgeries on me. And for him to say you were the one. Well him and god were right. You were the one.Thank you for helping me Dr Taylor. You dont even know what it meant our first visit. For you to say your pain is real. And believe in me that o had enough strength leftvin me mentally and physically to get through these two surgeries.You are my godsend. My experience was with a kind dr that saw me very quickly after I entered the room. He thoroughly explained my mri and gave me some options. He didnt push for surgery as the first oneI was grateful that we are going to continue with physical therapy and add some epidural pain management for now. He is very nice.
