I had a great experience. Dr Yanofsky diagnosed my symptoms and prescribed a treatment plan that worked great. Ths staff was friendly and very accommodating

So I went in for an exam for contacts and ordered a year supply because I was going to be moving to our of state soon. I received them and hadnt opened or tried a new pair (they give you a trial pair after your appointment if they dont have the boxes available) until maybe a month later when I needed to change them. The right eye was perfect, but the left one was flimsy and saw blurry; nothing like the pair they gave me the first time. I mentioned this to them and they said I had to come in, and I explained to them I had moved but I was willing to mail them back all the left contacts for the correct lenses. They insisted they gave me the correct pairs. Of course I AM THE ONE USING THEM so if I say I see blurry, they are NOT the same. Period. So we went back and forth. With a lot of phone calls in between. I make it back to Arizona and set aside time to make an appointment to come in and they said that it wasnt necessary that they would send me more pairs. (I got a different person on the phone) So i was sent 2 pairs and they were perfectly fine. They then sent me a box (I paid for my pairs so I felt that was necessary). I go to put on a pair 2 days ago and same problem. So the 2 they gave me loose fit, the ones in the box did not. I told them maybe manufacture defect I dont know. All I know is the ones that fit were secure and NOT flimsy and these are. Its very frustrating because its my vision not an article of clothing. Glasses you might ask? I got them from there too and they were DEFINITELY the wrong prescription. They hurt my eyes and still do to this day. Because I use my contacts 90% of the time I never mentioned my glasses at first. I did after and the optometrist just brushed it off. I give a 2 star because of the people that were kind to me on the phone and clearly in the only doing their job position.

We had a great visit today with this place. The staff was nice and helpful. The place was clean and covid friendly. One thing I really liked is that I was able to schedule my appointment online. That was very convenient. When I showed up they were right on time with the scheduled time I made online. I also enjoyed when I walked in the door if I was the person with that time, because they were waiting for us. The doctor was knowledgeable and went over many things with my exam. Had some suggestions and even discussed some of the positive things the exam showed him about my vision. The equipment seemed a little more up to date than other places I have been, that was nice. I would recommend this place if you are looking for another place to get your eye exam. Look forward to my exam next year.

I have had glasses for almost 15 years and this was by far they best eye doctor experience I have ever had. The staff, especially Victoria, was so kind and incredibly helpful. She was very patient and spent a lot of time helping me understand the costs of the frames I had picked out, the extra options they have available, exactly what my insurance covers, and what would be the best deal for me. I didnt feel pressured or rushed to make any decisions, and felt very informed of all my options. Dr. Yanofsky was also very kind and professional. This was my first time at his office, and I was pleasantly surprised that he explained to me the results of my tests - something Ive not had another eye doctor do. He was very knowledgeable, and explained to me everything I needed to know. I have nothing but good things to say about this office, and will be having the rest of my family start coming here as well!

Waited 55 mins for an appointment before deciding to leave. I understand doctors run behind but no one communicated that to me if that was the case. The real kicker was when I was standing in front of the receptionist to tell her I was going to leave but she didn’t even see me because she was looking down at her cell phone. I stood there for a minute before another employee noticed me. I’d rather spend my money somewhere else. P.S. clean the large bugs out of your light fixtures in the waiting area— gross.

Would Recommend!I havent gotten my eyes checked in YEARS! Figured now that I had good insurance to go in. Here are some of the things I loved about my experience:1. Can make an appt online! - I hate calling in to doctors offices2. Quick Availability! - Another place I had called was booking far into Feb. My work schedule constantly change, so its hard for me to set something up far out.3. Great Customer Service! - I got the pleasure of meeting Victoria and Dr. Yankofsky. They were both great and it was nice chatting with them!4. Pricing! - Very transparent with pricing and what my insurance covered. Victoria even broke down all of my options and different things I could do!5. Waiting Room Time! - I made my appt first thing in the morning, so I didnt have to wait long at all. I would recommend showing up 10m early (like any other dr office) to fill out the usual paperwork. I cant speak to the wait times later in the day6. Contacts Classes! - They hold a individual class for you to show you how to use contacts and will give you a month to try it out! This is super helpful for someone like me whos never used them before!I really enjoyed my experience at this location, and look forward to being a repeat customer :)

Great eye doctor. The appointment was on time and the Dr. was very knowledgeable.The staff helped me pick out a nice pair of glasses and gave me sample contacts at the time of my visit. Everything came in before it was promised and turned out perfect. Thank you Advanced Eyecare of Arizona.

I had an extremely irritating eye problem, couldnt sleep, wouldnt go away. Tried the drug store remedies, nothing worked. I went to Dr. Yanofsky and he was very thorough. Explained everything. Prescribed eyedrops that were immediately effective. Excellent diagnosis & treatment. I recommend to anyone that has an eye problem.

Found this place 3 years ago and purchased a new pair of glasses every year since then. Love everyone here as they are very helpful and nice! I am asian and my frame size is bigger, they could always find out the beautiful frame with nice color, right size for me. Thanks!

Best eye dr hands down! My husband and I have seen him years before and mistakenly went to another eye doctor years after due to insurance purposes but let me tell you, never again. Now I don’t trust another eye doctor for our family besides him. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and most importantly Dr. Yanofsky is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. He takes his time to ensure he has figured out the perfect glasses/contact prescription for you and truly makes sure you understand. He is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. Do yourself a favor and visit his office, you will not regret it! Dr. Yanosfsky really cares about you and your vision and his staff is equally as supportive and helpful. I also appreciate that his staff isn’t pushy towards adding additional things to your glasses like other places. I could go on about this place, they truly are remarkable and the best!

I love this office! From start to finish, everything about my exam was seamless. The tech that did my pre-testing was friendly and professional. I didnt have to wait for Dr. Yanofsky at all, and I felt confident in his exam and assessment. The optician was very helpful (and not pushy at all) when it came to picking out frames I liked - even while i was dilated! The ladies at the front desk were very courteous as well, especially Erika. My son and I wont go anywhere else for our eyecare needs

Im not sure why there are no other reviews as this is a great practice. Dr Yanofsky is kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable, honest and did I say knowledgeable.I need to make sure everyone understands why he is great. I was suffering from headaches and doctors kept saying its in my head. Take some Tylenol. Have A great day. Well Im cheap as well and Dr Yanofsy recommended a test that isnt covered by insurance but is revolutionary in seeing behind your eye. I did it. What do you know he saw an irregularity. Sent me to my PCP who sent for testing. Found out what was going on and guess what if it wasnt for the doctor pressing his concern of the test results at his office I would never have known the need for my cerebral fluid to be drained and follow up evaluation.He cared. He checked in. He did what multiple other doctors and urgent cares was in my head. Ironically it was because my fluid was high. But if he didnt do the next step I would still have these headaches.Dont just fall for the national chains that profess deals , deals, deals. Look for quality eye care. Buy your glasses where you want BUT have Dr Yanofsky as your optometrist. Tell him Janet sent you. J/k but really tell him. Lol

I have had recently diagnosed with GPC and so I called my colleague, Dr. Ben Yanofsky, Board-Certified Optometrist in Mesa, AZ for a telemedicine consult....since I was not going to be in his area any time soon....and Dr. Yanofsky recommended 2 medications that have worked great...not only to reduce my GPC but to actually improve my vision...feel great....and I trusted Dr. Ben since he has taken extra education and training in area of eye disease...more than many doctors in my area and even in Mesa.

My appointment was 4PM today, and I spent an hour and a half in the office without a completed eye exam. Here is the story, I waited for an after my scheduled appointment time, and finally got taken care of. However, i was not taken care by the nurse, but by a reception. She did my initial check ups prior to the doctor. She does not how to operate the machines, so a 10 minute procedure ended up a 30 minute procedure. Then after the preparation work, i finally taken to the doctors office. When i was in the office, the doctor did not greet me or introduce himself. He literally said, Im working my way through, I will be with you in a moment. I waited for another 15 minutes and the doctor did not return. But I heard his loud voice next door trying to sell his products next door. I decided not to wait and walk out the office and literally told the reception, Im not waiting anymore and I dont think the doctor is ready to see me anytime soon. Very disappointed with this office. I would give zero star if it allows. I will not recommend this office to any of my friends or my colleagues.
