Everyone at Mariposa gardens did a great job in helping me and my family through our loss. John was excellent in showing us the arrangements at Mariposa. John made us feel like part of the family and was compassionate towards our feelings. The grounds at Mariposa are beautiful and offer many styles of grave markers. We chose the bench marker, this is something I have never seen and is beautiful where you can sit and visit your loved one for some time. The grounds are beautiful with lush free grass and trees planted through the gardens. When the time comes when your love one passes please consider Mariposa Gardens the staff is understanding and the grounds are beautiful laid out.

As a family we felt that Mariposa Gardens were both friendly over the phone and understanding of our circumstances. They asked us the questions and then took care of it all, as we were all out of state. Also when our director was out of the office someone else jumped right in, got up to speed on our situation and handled it for us. During this difficult time in our life they made it easy for us to decide who to use.Thank you to all of the Mariposa Staff.

My mom looked so beautiful on the day of her funeral and burial. Mariposa Gardens and Dignity Memorial are great folks to deal with when a loved one passes. I have dealt with them personally and professionally and every experience has been caring and professional. Be aware that having remains placed on weekends incur additional charges.

All the staff were very kind and patient and there was no sales pressure on anything. The grounds were well kept and made our outside service very beautiful. They were also able to secure the Marine Color Guard on our behalf which made things much easier on us. The celebrant we used was wonderful and really captured the spirit of who our son was.

Ive never been through this before, I didnt know what to expect or know what was normal. I followed my gut and the wishes of my loved one as I knew her best. And whatever those choices were, Lia made me feel like it was totally acceptable. She never made me feel like my requests or thoughts were insignificant. Each detail was specifically tailored to my loved one, nothing was standard.

Losing my dad was one of the most difficult times in my life, however, Mariposa and the director that served us made the experience therapeutic. The memory table exceeded my expectations, and that along with the grounds, the attention and gentleness of the staff made me decide I wanted to plan my celebration of life so my children can have the same healing process with an amazing team.

Mariposa Gardens was amazing. I lost my father a couple days before Christmas 2020, which just added to the worst year ever!!! MG made this already difficult situation so much easier to deal with. Their staff was incredible, their prices were fair & the place is absolutely beautiful. I never felt rushed or like I was getting a sales pitch. The funeral director John S. was kind and patient and seemed like he truly cared.I highly recommend them if you ever find yourself needing a place to bury your loved ones or to handle a cremation. They were professional experts!

Mariposa Gardens did a wonderful job in making my father look presentable- and this is especially important to know because it was mid-June in temps that were over 100-degrees, when he passed away. It took a few days for the embalming to occur, so I was worried about what state he would be in- add to that we had to transport him to his final resting place back East, so it was especially important to me that he remain as pristine as possible. The receiving funeral home called me as soon as they had possession and told me how fantastic he looked- what a testament to MG and the staff there. LIA KEYSER was just awesome to work with: empathetic, considerate and her attention to detail makes her stand out ..... all attributes that you need in someone, at your darkest hour, to possess because you won’t have the presence of mind to even function. The transportation was seamless- LIA really worked with me to get the quickest and most readily available flight. I highly recommend Mariposa Garden .... thank you 🙏 and job well-done

We were very happy with the service at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, AZ. The two staff members, Casey McGill and Chad Davis were very respectful, knowledgeable and worked with us on transferring our paid up mausoleum spaces in Texas to Mesa as a part of the Dignity Memorial Network. They walked us through the process without pressuring us in any way. It’s a lovely facility which sells itself and we are happy to be paying for the services portion of the burial plan at no interest for 5 years which we felt to be a good deal. My daughter and I went to check out three (3) mortuaries as my husband was near the end of his life --- we went to the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Funeral Home and visited with Mike--- he was so pleasant, understanding, and gave us a lot of information and the place was very calming - and when we were in the car, I said I dont think there is any reason to look at the other two places, I feel very comfortable here and they seem to care.After my husband passed away at home with hospice care, a young gentleman and lady came to take the body to the mortuary .. They were so caring and professional that I felt like we really had picked the right mortuary - and since then they have been very helpful and answered questions without making us feel like we didnt understand. but I am sure they covered these questions, but in our frame of mind we didnt always remember . This definitely was the right choice for us.

It is very hard to say goodbye and Mariposa Gardens made everything seamless. They were able to accommodate a special request and we really go the feeling they cared for her like we would have ourselves.

Mariposa Gardens, Mesa AZ was amazing from the moment we walked into the doors. There was a sense of peace and tranquility there. Sirene and Mike and the Mariposa Gardens staff were professional, patient, understanding, and accommodating. They did not interfere with our grieving and allowed us to celebrate our mothers life in a way that she would have wanted. We were able to focus on honoring our mother because we knew that everything was taken care of. The grounds at Mariposa are beautiful, and well maintained. It is clear that Mariposa takes pride in being a place that provides a peaceful sanctuary for families to honor their loved ones.

We received excellent service from Mariposa representative Casey McGill in setting up and purchasing a plan that we believe will meet our needs in the future. Mr. McGill was friendly, courteous and well informed to discuss with us the parts of the plan we desired.

Really love the cemetery grounds comforting quiet and beautiful. Thats why we chose you for the three family members I have there. The other day I was visiting a family member and had an old guy come out of the funeral home wearing a suit approached me and asked what I was doing and said he seen me walking around and if I needed help. That was really rude considering how we spend a lot of money in your funeral home and I have several different people including friends that are buried there and I think I have a right to visit them all without getting his permission. also people removing items off of headstones and putting them a couple headstones up I dont mind but there needs to be a stop to this.and then to top it all off I had someone whos got a loved one in there Im guessing she approached me the other day and said she was sorry to hear about my sons suicide I asked her where she heard it she said her friend in the funeral home told her about it. This is very top secret and I really dont appreciate that information being given out and if no one told her in the funeral home. I really like this place and Im really glad wechose it but I am starting to have my doubts.

This is not the most pleasant experience and Ryan made it as easy as possible. Listened to my questions and concerns and did not try to sell me anything I wasnt interested in. I would recommend Mariposa without hesitation.

The death of my 24 year old son and the manner in which he died was the most devastating thing in my life. I am forever changed. John was the most kind man during this time. He helped me and my son along the way in making decisions . This time in my life was a blur. He was patient during the cremation arrangements . I may have seemed a little crazy asking if my son needed body wash and deodorant and a tooth brush. John never made me feel ridiculous. Thank you to all of you during this difficult time

Michael Wallace was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful in preplanning with us. We had previously used Mariposa Gardens at the passing of my mother 4 years ago, and we chose to use them again in preplanning for my wife and I.

Dealing with a sudden death is something no one should have to go thru and being absolutely clueless is funeral proceedings added to the stress and sadness. I went to a couple different funeral homes and felt like I was being sold a car by a salesman, ruthless. By the time I got to mariposa gardens I was spinning. Corey greeted me with such kindness and grace I was shocked. Everyone that I came into contact with at this funeral home was so compassionate and warm. I felt like I was home with my family. This is really what you need in this time of need NOT a salesman. They were absolutely amazing thru the entire process and answered all questions even when I asked three or four times. The garden is beautiful and well kept. I would anyone who is in need of a final resting place for their loved ones to speak with Corey and they will not be disappointed.

I basically got “stuck” with this disastrous place! My husband passed away December 16 I asked for Dignity mortuary to pick up his remains! This place is like their incompetent sister company! They over charge on EVERYTHING!! They are all about making the “sell” I was filling out paperwork and i started crying and as soon as I did they asked if I wanted this specific urn (the most expensive) luckily I had my sister there to be my voice of reason! It ended up the Army had to step in to help me!! They finally got my husband cremated last Friday (Jan. 5) and I’m hoping to get his remains today and be completely done with this place other than finally being able to pick up his death certificates!!! They don’t care about the loss the family feels all they care about is $$$$ it’s sick and gross!!! Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!

They had us sign paperwork to take my fathers finger prints. Two months later they called and said they did not get his finger prints. Then 7 months later my mother gets a collections call for $259 for Mariposa Gardens. She had never once received a bill or statement. This place is poorly ran.

We went to check out prices and I was appalled at all the BS things they wanted to add for hundreds!! Things like CD photos and memorial photobook, a picture to look like a painting. All these things you can do at Walgreens for under $30.00, they wanted $250.00 for! They dont do the cremations there either! Charge extra for refrigeration!, pick up and bring back! Crazy high prices! Basic cremation was over $2,200!! If you want friendly family service without all the jacked up prices go check out Sonoran Skies-One price includes everything!
