Marc is a wonder therapist. He tells it like it is to help you face your issues. I find his approach refreshingly honest and he has helped me greatly. If you dont want to do the work they dont go see him but if you want your life to be better.....hes your guy.

My wife (soon to be ex) and I went to Marc for marriage counseling. I had made a major mistake in my marriage that I felt very, very bad for. I was telling Marc, while my wife was with us, about how sorry I was for what I had done and that I felt horrible about it. He looks at me and says, You dont look sorry to me. During the conversation he asked what I was doing to make sure the situation didnt happen again. I said I wasnt drinking and that I was reading about how to stay sober. Marc then said, Thats all youve done? It doesnt seem like youre trying I asked what he meant, and he said that I should get my own counseling, which I hadnt even thought of until he said something.I canceled our next appointment, as my wife was not able to make it. I left a message with Marc to call back to reschedule and I have not heard back from him in over 2 weeks.I feel that I came to Marc in a troubled marriage and then Marc just threw me under the bus, saying I wasnt sorry and that I wasnt trying (which is further from the truth than east is west), all while my wife was sitting next to me hearing this. I feel that Marc did more damage than help to my marriage.

My husband and I went in for our first session. I started answering the getting to know you questions when Marc interrupted me to tell me that I was cold and he wasnt going to have that in his office. When I apologized for any misunderstanding and asked for specifics. He told my husband to tell me how badly I had acted. My husband did not know, so, after several times of me asking he said he didnt like how I greeted him when I gave him our paperwork in the front office. Dumbfounded we continued the session while I cried and then he stopped the session and suggested we leave.

Years ago, I was in counseling with Marc. My marriage was an unhappy tortured place. After a bunch of appointments that I think were helpful, I brought my wife along. Marc compared her to Nurse Ratched and told her so, lol. A very accurate assessment of my ex wife. It took me way too long to see it clearly, but Marc, you were right!

I feel as though He talks about himself, and other clients far too much and about his EX wife and kid far too often. I dont really enjoy going to a counselor thati feel is going to use my private sessions as an example to other clients, because he talked about other clients with us. He didnt make a next appointment with us and told us to figure out what we wanted and then come back I think if we knew what we wanted we wouldnt be paying him to help us. Overall if feels as though he has made things worse for us, not better.
