Cara Jones has been seeing both of my children for over 18 months. She has truly made a difference in our lives. She works closely with both parents in advocating for what’s best for the child. I have seen great positive behavioral change especially in our son. I can’t say enough good things.

Veterans Affairs contracted out my appointment with Apple Blossom Counseling specifically with Cara Jones and I had an appointment set for Feb 3rd. On the morning of my appointment I received a text from a Patty Hamrick of Apple Blossom telling me my appointment was cancelled as the provider had a family emergency but that I would be contacted and the appointment would be rescheduled.I was understanding but after a few weeks went by I replied to the text message asking if the family emergency was still ongoing and if I would be rescheduled soon. I received no reply to any of my text messages so I called and left voicemails requesting I be called back to be rescheduled. I dont think it should fall to me to get myself rescheduled after I was cancelled on but I still put in the effort since Apple Blossom Counselling wasnt putting in any at all.Apple Blossom Counseling still hasnt even bothered to return any of my texts or calls and thats over 2 months now. Its a good thing I have other resources. Id hate to think there are other veterans trying to be seen and in crisis who rely on Apple Blossom Counseling because from my experience they appear to be lacking in compassion, caring, and are not reliable or there for you when you need them and not only let their patients fall through the cracks but ignore them completely when they reach out for help. They appear to be lacking in the most basic of qualities one would want in a psychology/counselling service.
