If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Truly impressed with the entire experience. I called as a new patient and in pain and was seen within an hour. Every single person was more than accommodating right down to searching my insurance for me, helping me call my HR department, making sure I was as comfortable as possible and reassuring me that I was in good hands. For the first time, I am not scared to go to the dentist. The staff here are so caring and always explain every dental procedure, all the billing and are always willing to work with me in terms of payment plans. This office is absolutely the best!

The staff is fantastic. I felt welcome from the very first phone call and throughout the visit. When I moved a couple years ago, I got a flyer for Dental Center of Mesa in the mail so we decided to try it out. I have been going there twice a year for cleanings since then and have never had an issue. The hygienists are always super nice and they really care about their patients. There is never a long wait and the dentist is super cool as well. Dental Center of Mesa is not around the corner from me, but it is certainly worth the drive for the level of care I receive.

I have been going there for years and they always take care of me. They have done a lot of working on my teeth. I recently married, and my wife and 2 girls go there as well.

Saw Dr. Kallika today for a mild but nagging tooth ache. He gave me the best dental exam I have ever had, determined I don’t have any structural issues, and thinks I have a small sinus infection that is putting pressure on my tooth.He prescribed an antibiotic and to see how it feels in 72 hours.I so appreciate his conservative and cost effective approach!

I spoke to an employee to make an appointment as I cracked a tooth. Her name is lilly. There was a lot of obstacles on getting that appointment scheduled. Much too many to go into details. Lilly went the extra mile and got that scheduled for me.Dr Kalika squeezed me into his already full day and put a crown in for me. (By the way great job). Really a great staff.

Im getting ready to leave the Phoenix area and wanted to share my positive experience Ive always had with this place. Ive had my teeth cleaned here regularly for 6+ years and have never had a bad experience. I have had one filling on a front tooth which chipped out after several months and was repaired, free of charge. Has been in for several years now and I have had no issues. I love how positive and transparent the office staff is and will continue to recommend this place and Dr. Kalika to friends in need of dental cleanings and procedures.

I absolutely love this dental office!! They make me feel comfortable from the moment I walk in until I walk out. A tv with my favorite home improvement shows on and up beat classic rock on the radio really helped too, but the staff by far wins the prize!! If you suffer from TMJ, go see Dr. Kalika. I had TMJ for years and when I went to his office I was in such pain that I couldnt even chew bread. Ive seen different dentists for TMJ but Ive been only told not to chew anything hard or crunchy. My long time problem was finally solved by Dr. Kalika and now I can eat anything I want without pain! His staff are very efficient and friendly, too. Highly recommend him!

So far so good! I had a few hiccups that were totally ny fault and the staff was very patient and professional. The girls at the front are incredibly kind and efficient. The Dr was also awesome! Explained everything very clearly, and assured me I would be taken care of. No one enjoys going to the dentist, but I left here feeling like I was in great hands the whole way around. Even the guy that was prepping me for the dentist was great. I to make a lot of dumb jokes when nervous. He laughed graciously. Hahaha.I go in for my procedure next week and Im not feeling anxious at all about it, which says a lot because Im a natural creature of anxiety.Great place. Will definitely recommend!

I was very impressed with how I was treated from the moment I stepped in the door. I was just in for a routine cleaning and had a minor tooth ache concern and Dr. Kalika and the entire staff were very attentive to making sure I was comfortable with what was going on and gave me some tips to help eliminate the problem myself and hopefully I dont have to come back in for further help but I know I will be well take care of if I do.

Ive always had a great experience there!

I went to school for Dental Assisting, so I know when a facility is financially driven. From my first visit until my last, this has been a terrible experience. You are not a patient at this office you are a financial number. I have top of the line dental insurance and with any plan there is stipulations. For one year I sat back and waited for a phone call with the results of my request for service from my insurance. They sent me over 20 letters with the approval and when I would call the office they would say they received nothing yet. So after almost exactly a year, I decide to call the Dentist again, at this point they quote me notes from conversations that never took place, such as I called in and did not want to bring the paperwork from my insurance and that I would just call them myself. I was so eager for this procedure, I would have happily brought in my paperwork. So now they are falsely notating my account. Then the nice lady today, who knew things seemed wrong on my account, was kind enough to notify me that due to a clause my insurance would not cover the procedure. So if this is true for one year I no longer meant something to your office cause you did not see a financial gain. Wouldnt a phone call be a common business practice to keep me informed? What if I would have been willing to pay cash? Now you will never know. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH BEING A FINANCIAL NUMBER.

Let me start out by saying I have always been deathly afraid of going to the dentist until I met Dr. Kalika. He is the only dentist I will see & would recommend him to everyone. He is very passionate about dentistry. He makes sure you are always comfortable and tells you everything that will be done. He is so friendly & kind. I had an impacted and infected tooth & he took an emergency on call apt for me offered to see me without an appointment. Just went above and beyond & now Im a loyal follower. Prices are very affordable. Dont ever retire Dr. Kalika!!

This review is well deserved and long overdue. Ive had a lot of dental procedures over the years and have never been to a dental office like this one. I had an infection over one of my implants and was seeing a Periodontist that was ready to take my implant apart. Luckily right before that I was referred to Dr. Kalika, I went into his office and he was confident that he could help me out. He talked of a laser that he used; I was skeptical because the Periodontist already tried that. One year later, no infection and I still have my implant. Ive also had some other work over the past year done by Dr. Kalika. I have seen many, but none like him. I would highly recommend anyone with complex issues or not, to visit this office. His dental skills are superior from anyone else in dentistry. Ive also had contact with Andrea for billing, Miranda, Felicia, Veronica for cleaning and recently Marc Anthony, all who were very professional and stellar at their job. Thank you for all you do!!

Dr. Kalika was the absolute best! He caught my hairline fracture in the beginning stages before any further damage couldve happened. He recommended surgery (which I was nervous about), but it went so well. My mouth healed very quickly and my follow-up appointment was stress free. I also appreciate the friendly staffas well. 10/10 would recommend!

As a retired hygienist with 35 years of experience, I have seen and worked with a number of dentists, but I have to say that Dr. Kalika is one the most highly skilled clinicians I have encountered. He is caring, has attention to detail, and most important, he has and is not hesitant to use the latest technology to achieve the best desirable outcome. I speak from personal experience. My entire family will not go to another dentist. The assistants and front office staff are just wonderful!! I would recommend you check this office out.

Dr. Kalika is awesome. He let me have a second appointment in the same day to complete a tooth repair. I really didnt want to walk around with a chipped front tooth and when he realized I thought it was going to be fixed the same day he did.it!

These guys are amazing! I went in after not being to a dentist in over 10 plus years needing a lot of work. They didnt make me feel bad about the condition of my teeth and they were happy to help me set a plan of action. I had horrible cavities on two of my front teeth. Very embarrassing! I was able to get in and get two crowns made for me right there at the office. I was able to leave the same day with a brand new smile. Im so happy. I have a lot of work still needing to be done and will continue to come here for as long as I can.

I had a tooth that had a root canal about 10 years prior that would cause some discomfort from time to time. Dr Kalika has been my dentist for years and he had been closely watching this tooth. Upon my last cleaning he noticed the tooth didn’t look right and referred me to an Endodontist. The endo determined the tooth was not salvageable and referred me back to Dr Kalika to get an extraction and implant. Dr Kalikas office was amazing in sending out a predetermination to my insurance to check if sedation would be a covered benefit as I was very nervous to have my tooth pulled. Within a matter of a few days the tooth began bothering me so much that I wasn’t able to wait. I called and spoke with Dr Kalikas after hours emergency line over the weekend and they promptly got me in for Monday morning. Dr Kalika personally spoke with me over the weekend about sedation options that would be available to me on such short notice, since he knew how scared I was. The front office girls then sent prescriptions over to the pharmacy for me to pick up, which made for a seamless process. Upon arriving for my appointment I was taken to the treatment room where everything was thoroughly explained. The entire procedure went great and the whole team was amazing in catering to my needs. Dr Kalika followed up with me that same evening to see how I was feeling and the next day the front office gal Shalonda called to check in on me. Overall a fantastic experience! I would recommend this office to anyone.

Here was my personal experience from last week. We had received a mailer for a cleaning, x-rays and a consultation with the dentist. The only thing the mailer said was not valid if you had periodontal disease. Ok.. so I get there. Fill out the paperwork and get the x-rays. They said maybe possibly a cavity and there was a little plaque. No big deal. Then I was informed that it would be $205 for the cleaning instead of the $22 coupon. They said that was only for extremely healthy teeth. None of which was on the mailer. It was for a teeth cleaning. I said so are you diagnosing me with periodontal disease then? They said No. But that they were unwilling to fufill their advertised price. And were unwilling to do any cleaning what so ever but then wanted me to still pay for the x-rays, cleaning, and consultation advertised. I would not recommend due to false advertising and wasted my time. This was my personal experience and felt like it is a bait and switch situation. Not transparent at all.EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER:The mailer says In absence of Periodontal Disease. Please review your mailer before claiming it says something else. I received x rays and then she counted my teeth. There was no exam. She said we needed a deeper cleaning in order to PREVENT calculus and whatever from forming. Not that it was present. That is called an up sell in the buisness. You can claim whatever you would like. That is your right. This was MY personal experience. I asked if you guys were diagnosing me with periodontal disease, they said no. You claim I had more than just a little plaque but none of you even gave me an examination. You never saw my teeth and no exam was ever done because in order to have done so your office wanted $205. The sheet she had given me was taken away before I was able to even start reading in before the finace lady came in. By the resonse that was given I would NEVER EVER recomend this buisness. This was MY personal experience. You were not present.

My fiance and I absolutely love coming here. Dr Kalika and his staff are amazing. I love how I am greeted when I come in and to the care they provide me. We are treated very well and it is a one stop shop for all your needs. I recommend it to all who are interested in finding a new Dentist or even switching to a new one. You will no be disappointed.

Dr Kalika and his staff (including front desk, hygienists -everyone I have encountered) have been great every visit! They explain things well, re-explain if needed, and answer any questions I have. The same-day crown process is amazing : very quick, precise, and natural looking! Ive referred at least one or two people here, and I know they will refer others as well. I dont get nervous going to this office, which has not been the case in my history of dentists!

I spent 35 years hating the dentist. It feels weird to say I found a Dentist I Like! But I have! They make you feel so welcome and they are Good with kids. My daughter was very scared to go but she had Fun! We both left that day Happy and saying we love the dentist! I Love the fact that they do everything in house. As someone that always needs to be sedated. Im used to the line from receptionist oh hes the best, you wont feel anything and then pay $100 to be referred to a specialist. Dr Kalika listened to me and made me feel confident and safe. My first time not being iv sedated but they gave me something to help with anxiety and some gas and I was Good. Best Dental experience EVER! If I gotta do root canal Im going iv sedation but after this experience Im not so afraid anymore and that feels good. Staff is Awesome! Friendly and easy to talk to. We found our Dentist. Were staying here.

I love the office. I love the staff. I planned to be a patient forever, but they charge me a $50 fee for missing an appointment. I havent had a doctor do that since the 90s! I called to say how sick I was and they waived the fee, but ... they argued. you signed a paper, blah blah It was such a pain. I have health issues that cause me to cancel appointments on short notice occasionally and I just was not comfortable continuing as a patient at that point. Sick or not, theres no need to charge a fee to a regular patient. What if I was dead? Would they bill my family? I just dont like unnecessary fees, thats all I can say.

Dental Center of Mesa is the most professional office,with Dr. Kalika giving such care and comfort to his patients. He works with his patients to deliver the best outcome,and is only happy when they are. The entire staff is very welcoming and helpful.They also will work within your budget and offer options. I would personally never go anywhere else for my dental needs,we need more dentist like him.

REFUSED FOR BEING 1 MINUTE LATE!My sister and I have been going to the Dental Center of Mesa twice a year for over 15 years, back when Dr. Goodman was the dentist. We moved from Mesa to Tempe a few years ago but continued to go out of loyalty. We were driving to her dentist appointment which was at 8:30 in the morning. My sister called at 8:20 to let them know we were almost there but may be a few minutes late (THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE!).The lady at the front desk was very nice but her supervisor wanted us to reschedule the appointment. It wasn’t even 8:30 yet and we were right around the corner. We pleaded with the lady at the front desk but there was nothing she could do. Her supervisor would not allow it. While my sister was on the phone rescheduling the appointment, we had arrived at the dentist at 8:31. We were one minute late and the supervisor still wanted us to reschedule!I am appalled at the whole ordeal and have never experienced this the entire time I have been going to this dentist. What business refuses a paying customer for being 1 minute late? Are you trying to make money or piss people off? Even most employers allow employees a five-minute grace period. I can understand if we were 10 or 15 minutes late but 1 minute late? This was absolutely ridiculous!

I switched to Dr. Kalikas office a little over a year ago and I couldnt be happier. The staff is so friendly and supportive. I feel like theyre very honest and open about what work will be done and how payments can be arranged. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and educate you on what you can do to improve your oral health. Always such a pleasant experience. :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that Dr Kalika did an evaluation on a tooth that another dentist stated needed major work and found that this was indeed not the case. He saved me from unnecessary dental work being performed and I am glad I made the switch to his office.Each of the staff members in the front desk made me feel right at home and the dental hygienist performed what I believe to be the best cleaning my mouth has ever received.

Dr. Kalika is one of a kind - the best kind. The dentist, a childhood fear becomes an adult dread. A necessity for health, yet Ive put it off too many years and my teeth are in bad shape. They put together a treatment plan. Affordable service. And puts you at ease. Ive had two root canals, a crown and working on my front teeth crowns. Staff were pleasant, but my concern was to get professional affirmation and information about my few remaining teeth. The dentist affirmed my concerns about my teeth that they were goners because of PD caused by dry mouth,but wanted me to spend $950.00 on a cleaning and 4 small cavities, my insurance info was provided two days in advance of my appointment, why would anyone spend close to 1000.00 dollars on teeth that were not going to last. Their quote on total implants was the highest of the three I acquired previously by 22K. Complete waste of my precious time.

I hadnt been to the dentist in YEARS needless to say I needed ALOT of work. Everything from wisdom teeth pulled, fillings, crown and even an Implant. Through every step of the way Dr. Kalika and his staff have been wonderful. They always made sure I was comfortable, not in pain and always knew what was going on. The Dr. even called to check up on me personally after a procedure. Fantastic place to go great staff and wonderful for kids also.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Kalika and all that he has done for me and my smile for the last 7 + years. I however want to warn anyone that goes to this office that numerous times by their administrator Ada I have been advised that a procedure was covered. This last time around advised, that she called my insurance company directly and they are covering the procedure minus the $$ paid in the office that day. ONLY to be hit with an additional bill of $250 +. When talking with Ada directly today, she advised that she did talk with someone but that she couldnt guarantee payment. Then just left me a message to call my insurance company. I think this is 100% unacceptable - I would most likely forgone the procedure at what I am NOW paying out of pocket. This is super shady and a terrible way to run a business. I will be taking my business elsewhere!

I have been going to the Dental Center since before Dr. Kalika bought the business. I am 66 years old and have a TON of dental work done since my early 20s.I have never had a dentist absorb any cost for work that had failed. Recently a screw in an implant that was done in 2012 failed and rather than charging me over $2,000 (which any other dentist I have known would have done), he charged me the cost of the part.His work is impeccable and his staff is well trained and helpful. You wont find a better dentist!

Prior to my most recent visit my cleaning visits usually went well. However at my most recent cleaning the ultra sonic instrument the hygienist used seemed too high as it caused a sharp ringing in my ears and afterward my back teeth are cold sensitive. This hygienist was new to me and I would like a different hygienist next time.

I love Dr. Kalika and his staff! I am grateful that I was referred to him and we have been very happy! It is hard to find an honest, upfront, gentle, and awesome staff.

We have been going to Dr Kalika and the Dental Center for years. When I had an emergency he took care of the problem immediately and with great care. We highly recommend Dr Kalika.

The experience i had at this dental office was excellent. The doctor and his staff is superb. They make you fell at home. I definitely recommend him.
