With 2 full time chiropractors using slightly different methods youre guaranteed to find one that matches your style. They also have multiple ways of getting an adjustment. Whether you like flat bed, drop table or pro adjuster they have them all. They can even do your x-rays on site. The staff are friendly and welcoming that you will soon feel like part of the AFC family. My kids and I all come here now and they are definitely my favorite medical practice to visit.

Dr. P and staff have been fantastic. I am currently having ongoing treatment for a pinched nerve in my neck. I have been going to AFC for about 2 months and I can already feel a difference in my back! I wasn’t able to bend over and give my kids a bath without aching pain. What a great practice! Dr. P and her staff are very friendly and outgoing and create an atmosphere that is always enjoyable to visit! When I first started, MC explained the program, taking me through what it would all entail and many months in, I have experienced exactly what she said it would be. I am down to 1 visit a week and honestly getting better is great, but I do miss going more often! They have you visit “stations” as you move through which creates a very patient friendly, accommodating flow. I am normally in an out in an hour or less, and that is including check-in, vitals, Dr visit, Allergy injections, stretching (3 separate stations), adjustment, massage/taping. They have the process down pat! This flow allows for flexibility if you have changes in your schedule. There have been times I needed to come in early, or even come in later and When I call the front desk, Courtney is quick to help find a time. I also feel very safe as there are multiple sanitation stations and 2 different restrooms where you can wash hands. Patients help sanitize equipment after use (just like a gym) and the Doctors/staff will sanitize their treatment areas after treating each patient! This is the kind of atmosphere I want in a treatment center, and I am sure I am not the only one! I have experienced nothing but the utmost kindness throughout my treatment program. I started coming to AFC because I had a voucher for a free evaluation from a friend. I expected to be adjusted a few times and sent on my way. That wasnt the case. To my surprise I was given a holistic care plan from a whole interdisciplinary team that included injections, massage, stretches, adjustments as well as allergy testing. I was under the impression that I would live with seasonal allergies and just accepted that, but here I am being offered a chance to understand how my bodies reaction impacts the rest of my body. Not only do I feel better, but I feel educated. The team at AFC is truly a dream team!

I cannot say this enough....I love love love love lovvvvee this place. Everyone is so sweet, friendly, and personal. They made me feel right at home. They really took the time to listen, understand and get to the root of my pain. They created a PERSONAL plan of attack for my issues. My hips, shoulders, and neck pain was so bad I would be almost in tears by night and waking up feeling like I was hit by a truck. Being a new mom I need energy however my pain was really affecting my health both mentally and physically. After my first week I was able to exercise for the first time in months. I have energy now and feel 1000 times better. Simple tasks are easy again, playing with my baby is no longer painful, and everyday I leave with a smile on my face. Hello what i like the most is that AFC is not just a business they are very family orientated establishment and family practice nowadays is everything. They make you feel like your at home. They are fast and they have a lot of knowledge in there practice. They are prompted on making sure you dont miss appointments and very prompted in making sure they get you scheduled. I would refer this practice to anyone with flying colors hands down. This company in 24 years of my injury discovered what was really going on and attacked the issue. What I love about the Mesa AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic is thats its a full service office. I can see a PA for my needs, I can get allergy testing, and of course I get adjusted (which I always need) & I get to stretch. Massages & taping have helped me out a lot also. I have been going to AFC for a little over a month now. When I first walked in I had pain 24/7 it was constant, nonstop, and I was at my end. This place literally changed my life. Prior to seeking treatment, I was in a pretty bad crash. I came here barely being able to walk without intense pain. I couldnt even really sit down to rest. Additionally, even laying down or sleeping was becoming a luxury. It wasnt a simple journey; it took time, discomfort, and their prescribed treatment to get me better. By the end of my initial treatment plan, they had me able to run and jump and lift. They even improved my sleep which had been an issue for me since I was a kid.The staff in the whole journey treated me in such a way that it gave me genuine hope. I cant even properly put into words how much I appreciate all they did for me and they did it regularly. My life was placed back on track by the team here. I havent felt this great in 15 years and theyve made that happen with a smile on their faces the whole way.This isnt a recommendation to go here if youre looking for chiropractic care, this is a requirement you owe to yourself if you want the best for yourself.

I am a 76 year old snowbird from Iowa spending the winter outside of yuma az. I have had back problems all my life due to polio in 1950. Traveling from Iowa to Arizona was painful and I knew it would be but Arizona is so nice during winter. I once again had to find someone to help me. I called afc Chiro in mesa. I only went for 1 month due to plans to go back to iowa. Everyone was so knowledgeable nice and helpful. Besides the smiles when I walked threw the door Dr. P and her staff went right to work. The massages the Chiro Treatment and the stretches were so helpful. I am back in Iowa and feel much much better. I absolutely LOVE AFC! I have dealt with really bad lower back and hip problems for years, and when I went in for my first appointment, I was in the worst place I have ever been. I had such bad spinal subluxation that I was bent to one side and any normal movement was excruciating. I have been to chiropractors before, but none of them have ever been as amazing as AFC. From the genuine, caring staff, to the holistic, natural approach to pain relief and actual healing, I can’t think of a better place to go. Within a few weeks I was walking straight again, my pain has diminished significantly, and I am gaining the tools to take better care of my back so I don’t keep having the same issues. And now, every time I walk in to the clinic, at least one person comments on how much better I am walking, to the point they don’t recognize me at first LOL

I work as a nurse in the hospital and 12 hour shifts would always leave my back and legs aching to the point where I couldn’t stand once my shift was over. Now that I’m going to AFC and working with the PA, chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists I can not only survive one 12 hour shift, but all 3 12 hour shifts back to back and not be in any pain at all! The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable and the chiropractors are very accommodating in ways to adjust your spine to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. Upon the recommendation of my son I visited AFC Mesa in the fall of 2016. I had numerous issues needing to be addressed in my neck, shoulders, lower back, and IT bands. All of those issues have improved immensely with the help of the entire staff there.Dr. P and Dr. Forbes make a great team as chiropractors and managing the clinic. MC is the case manager and has gone to great lengths to connect with each client personally. Mark is an exceptional massage therapist and very knowledgeable. His calm energy is very therapeutic and he has introduced many exercises to help me stretch and work my muscles appropriately . Courtney at the front is so positive and welcoming to each client who enters the clinic. I always look forward to my weekly PT and adjustments.The AFC family is outstanding and I miss them each year while my husband and I travel during the summer. I take all of the tools given to me while I travel so I can work to keep my body as fit as possible while Im away. I highly recommend AFC Mesa for full service physical medicine, chiropractic, and natural therapy.

I’m so sad to write this review, so I’ve taken literally months to do it. The people I saw here were very nice and approachable. However, they are selling outrageous ALL OR NOTHING plans. I was quoted over $5K with my Top tier PPO insurance to have my chiropractic care here. I asked to do a visit by visit and I was told it wasn’t an option as they bundle to make it more affordable for us. Unfortunately I left there with a very sour taste in my mouth and was never called again. It’s unfortunate I have to post this review but please consider moving away from these full package plans.The lady going over financials was very nice until I began to ask questions. The products they’re selling are marked up nearly 3x what they’re worth and she was upset I did an amazon search to compare.Lastly, my insurance covers massages. They are billing out nearly $60 for the 10 minute chair massage and then asking for payment from me on top of that. I’m sorry, but that is not okay.

I have been coming here off and on for about 9 years or so. I love this place. Dr. P and the staff make you feel welcomed and they truly care about a patients well being. I have also been to other chiropractors and felt like i was just number or paycheck being shuffled through. I dont get that feeling here at AFC.

Dr. Petula is both professional and friendly. I was comfortable working with her and I know she genuinely cares about me as person. Her top priority is my overall health and regaining full use of my knee. All of the staff members were cheerful and attentive to me a patient and as a person. They have a full immersion approach to treating their guests which makes my treatment more convenient and thorough.

They are so committed to education which has made an unbelievable difference in my healing. Being able to not only treat my body but to understand what is happening has brought me such peace of mind. Everyone was really nice and explain a lot of things for me. Overall though I think they are more concerned about what they can build your insurance for and selling their weekly injections which I believe are just vitamins but not sure. Either way I went in there without having been in a car accident or having any major problems and it was still recommended that I come twice a week or three times a week four injections physical therapy and close monitoring. I feel bad for the lady who is there in the waiting room with me. She was there by herself a little bit older and the front desk clerk who gave her her paperwork took about 30 seconds to start asking her about insurance claims auto insurance claims auto insurance information has there been a claim filed and it just really seems like they were more interested in her insurance than in her. Overall the service whats good and the people were nice but I definitely wouldnt recommend this to anyone whos had any kind of serious injury.

I came to AFC a year ago with Excruciating pain in my sacred iliac. I was using a Walker and there were days when I couldnt stand. My mom found AFC and recommended them to me. I was so pleased to see how many physical rehabilitation mode alities that they have! They have homeopathic medications, Chiropractic adjustment, massage for the site of the injection, and so much more !Send size been coming to AFC I dont use a Walker anymore and I dont take oxycodein anymore. I would recommend AFC to anybody else who is in pain no matter what part of the body.

AFC has provided me with comprehensive chiropractic/physical therapy services that have enabled me to feel so much better. In addition to regular chiropractic care they also educate you about what you need to do to care for your particular bodys needs so that once your treatment is done you can maintain your health and stay feeling good. Weve had a really good experience with them and would (and have) definitely recommend them to others having health challenges. Id actually give them a 4.5 but google wont let me.

The process for me has been more whole body, and I am now able to do some things I havent been able to do in years. Thanks to the team at AFC Mesa! Im so glad I started coming. My years long issue of neck and back pain has improved dramatically since starting.

I have received personalized, focused care from here. A team of experts work to evaluate each persons case. What made me feel comfortable letting AFC Chiropracric work on my spine was the detailed evaluation they do before ever adjusting any part of your body. It would be a great bet to see them if youre looking for some relief and treatment for your back pain.

I came in for an initial assessment, and then a follow up to go over my x-rays and possible plan of treatment. All in, I was there for approximately four hours between these two meetings. I received less than 3 minutes of treatment across these meetings. I came in with lower back pain as I had thrown my back out at the gym, and was only given an adjustment on my second meeting and then told to stretch by myself in a chair. Apparently that was the physical therapy I was charged over $50 for on that visit.Most of the second visit was a sales pitch, where the case manager told me how excited she was to see someone with great insurance! And then proceeded to ask if I could pay $2500 in full for a years worth of treatment. Mind you I had not received any treatment at this point, I had only sat in chairs and been talked at about how great their services are and how seriously I should take my conditions (which later my doctor confirmed were incorrect in his opinion and that any X-Ray taken while I was in immense pain would show serious misalignment).When I was considering actually purchasing the care package, I was told that my deductible of $250 should just be paid in full that day so we could get it out of the way. Foolishly, I did, but had it refunded when I realized that the level and amount of treatment I was receiving was laughable. I selected an AFC because I believe physical therapy was a complement to my treatment, and if Im only going to stretch on my own and not be guided, had my muscles manipulated or massaged, or be given a customized plan for my back issues, then there was no point.In short, everything just felt like a cash grab where payment is a priority and treatment is just a byproduct once they have your money. Perhaps if I had been treated differently I would have had a different experience.Ive waited over a month to write this review because I wanted to see if I felt differently after some time had passed, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this location to anyone who wants more than just a quick adjustment.

Happy to say my back is pain free after a fall in just about one month of treatment. Hip was a problem before the fall and almost pain free there as well. Staff is very competent and friendly...smiles all around! Highly recommend their services.

The combination of stretching therapy, shots for stubborn muscles and chiropractic manipulation is phenomenal. Dr. P and her amazing staff are absolutely THE BEST! I started with so much pain that I couldnt sleep, sit or hardly get through the day without tears. After only a few sessions, I felt 100% better. It has been almost three years and I still go for regular monthly maintenance! The staff is friendly, professional and truly cares about my health!!My husband had feet pain for several years and a diagnoses of plantar faciitis, had surgery, two rounds of laser therapy, all with no relief. As a last resort, I sent him to AFC. After an examination, Dr. P determined that my husband had knots in his calves, misaligned hips, and tight/inflamed IT bands. After a few months of treatment, my husband is pain free. AFC has absolutely blessed our family! We are so grateful for all they have done for us!

I have loved being a patient here at AFC! I have a rare condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I have always had a little nervousness about getting treated. But being a patient here has eased all my nerves and doubts and I have been seeing great results! I also love how they base all of their treatment off natural approaches and find the root cause of the problem. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Love this place! Everyone is really friendly and they really take care of you. I read some of the negative reviews and disagree! They treat you as a whole instead of just the one problem that you may have so that way the whole body functions better. Both chiropractors work miracles on me! Thanks to them Im able to continue with my very active lifestyle :-)

I normally would not change a review but I feel that it is necessary in this case. Originally I gave a great review because I thought it was deserved but things changed. One person in particular became very rude and inconsiderate. Eventually I had enough. When I called to let them know that I would be looking for care elsewhere there wasnt even a question why. It was obvious that they didnt care about me staying.How sad.

Thank yo AFC! My wife and I have been going here for almost 6 months and are seeing great results! The staff is kind and caring and always takes time to check in with us to see how we are doing. We are both in our forties and enjoy staying active. Thanks to AFC we are able to do so and feel great!

The people there are really nice and know what they are doing. Its an all-in-one solutions place yet they treat everyone on their individual needs.The numbness in my arm is already diminishing even though I have only be going for about two weeks.I didnt even know I had a problem with my neck being too straight and am getting it re-positioned to its natural state so that I dont wind up with worse problems as I age.

I have been coming to AFC for a little over a month. My pain/headaches are much improved and when I went to my regular medical physician, my labs are now back to normal. I had high cholesterol and my Dr wanted me to go on a medication to bring the cholesterol numbers down. I wanted to bring it down by changing my diet. I have been working on this for a year and a half and nothing changed. The only thing that has changed to bring the numbers back to normal is the fact that I am coming to AFC now. I dont believe in coincidences. 

I was referred by a friend and it has been an amazing experience. The Doctors and therapist and staff are awesome. Its only been one week and im feeling better. The attention to detail is great and they really care about your health.

I love this facility. Ive been going for just over a month now and am noticing differences in my pain.Everyone there really cares. Theyre so friendly and truely want to know how youre doing. I love that on days Im just not feeling it, I know that Ill leave feeling better physically and emotionally.

I was doing a video shoot for Dr. Wall and AFC Chiropractic Centers, during Dr. Walls speech I started to feel like I was no longer behind the camera but rather at a consultation. A lot of the symptoms he was mentioning I had however, I didnt see how my spine could give me head aches. I also had a lot of lower back pain however I thought that was normal even though Im only 24. Dr. Wall offered me a free first exam where I got an x-ray.I went to the Mesa location close to my home, and my goodness, I was horribly unaligned! My neck was going the complete wrong direction, one of my hips sat higher than the other, complete mess. I went to them 3 times a week for about 8 weeks and yesterday was my evaluation. After the first treatment my headaches started going away and by the evaluation, I could actually lay on my stomach without my lower back hurting. I never knew either of these results could be possible. The staff is the sweetest bunch of people one could encounter. They really get to know you and there have been times Ive rambled on in conversations with them. Im now in the maintenance stage and I look forward to my adjustments. They make you feel so good and light when you walk out the door.If anyone is unsure about chiropractic care, I highly suggest going to the Mesa location and just get checked out. x-rays cant lie, and its better to fix something young before it becomes a real issue.
