The front office girl was really rude. She had her name badge hidden. She’s slim with dark hair and blue eyes. I dealt with her today at 1:05.Gal who helped me seemed new. The other one kept barking directions at her while she was giving me a hard time. She has no customer skills and definitely not the personality to be dealing with the public. She belongs in the back office.Melody and her coworker in the test are were wonderful.

Care from Dr’s and staff is on point but dealing with the practice is horrendous and frustrating. You are typically on hold for 15 minutes or more to get an operator who now forwards your call and you are on hold for 30+ minutes or more. Once you speak with that person they say that they will send a message to someone to respond to you. given the nature of my call she marked it as stat. It’s been 4 days and no response. I will put on my headstone ” they were experiencing higher than normal call volume.”Its now day 5 and no response. I wonder how long a non-stat request takes.

The health care received depends largely on which practitioner you are assigned. The NP Tina is amazing. She’s five stars. Others, not so much. The call center for scheduling is consistently understaffed. Expect a wait in excess of thirty minutes no matter when you call. Unfortunately this is the only cardiology practice my father’s insurance will accept. My review is not for their Baywood location alone, but for *all* of their locations.

Hello – I have been a patient at Tri-City Cardiology most recently under Dr. Kolli. Although Dr. Kolli is great the management of the front office and scheduling has much to be desired. Always they are running late and prior to today I did not mind. Today I had a 3:20pm appointment for which I came in at 3pm as requested. At 3:50pm an office person announced that Dr. Kolli is running 30 minutes late. I figured ok I should be up soon. About 5 minutes later the same nurse announced he was running 1.5 hours late or about another 1 hour wait. I had made evening plans to I asked to reschedule and when I went to checkout there were 8 people ahead of me waiting to reschedule. I thought most of them had already seen the Dr. I just walked out. There are several Cardiologists in the area and I will find another one. Again Dr. Kolli is wonderful but the office management is very poor and they do not respect your time. They knew when I arrived it was backed up and could have given me the option of rescheduling or waiting. JH

Although I believe some of the doctors are pretty good, trying to get through to the scheduling is ridiculous. I been trying to connect with another cardiologist and wanted to cancel my appointments but can not get through on phone line or even get a call back for 3 days. No excuse. And yes, you feel like cattle being herded through, rushed and no real connection with doctor/patient.

If you are having heart problems and are wanting answers sooner than 1-2 months DONT GO TO Tri-City Cardiology. They are far too busy and the doctors only care about seeing the next patient to collect that next insurance check.Looking for a doctor that cares and wants to help you feel better. Go to Dr. Xavier.10/10 would recommend Xavier Heart Institute in Chandler.

If I could give no stars I would! If you truly need a heart dr look anywhere else! Dr Kassel is great but you wont be able to even schedule an appointment. Office staff never returns calls nor answers the phone. The most you can speak to is an operator who can do nothing for you not even transfer you to an office manager! 6 plus days with multiple messages left each day, 2 emails, and not one returned call. Now Ive been on the phone waiting on hold for over an 1hr 20 mins and counting. All I need is to schedule testing and appointments, scary if it was serious as the staff has not even returned a call.

Dr Chava in this group is probably the best Dr my husband David Hobbs has ever been to. When he was admitted to the hospital he had so many pre-existing conditions and developed a sever blood infection. Dr Chava eventually was able to do an aortic valve replacement and saved his life. She is so calm, caring an just an excellent doctor. He was so afraid as he had so many things wrong, but she told him she would help him and he had complete faith in her ability. My husband asked me to write this review for him.

I’ve been seeing Tri City since I moved from my previous cardiologist in Sun City West for the last 4 years. In the beginning had no trouble making appointments and their office ran smoothly calls were returned right away. Thought I would have no trouble getting quality service with customer service like I had at my previous cardiologist but definitely not the same anymore. They don’t have enough staff to take your calls to simply make an appointment. You kept on hold for an hour or more then when you finally get a person to answer then the person transfers falls to the wrong department or you calls are disconnected. They only have 2 people answering calls and you are on hold again with the music that’s unpleasant to listen to during the entry hold time.I’ve tried to request appointment on line and that’s pointless because you don’t get anywhere with the office as well. All I need is an appointment so I can get new prescription refills.Good luck

I am very disappointed with their service. I have been going to them for a while. My doctor wanted me to get a stress test. My appointment was for 2:45 and after going through all the COVID tests trying to get in the Baywood office on the first floor and again on the 3rd floor and then waiting to sign in, it was 2:47. They said because I was 2 minutes late, I would have to reschedule.I am disabled and have someone drive me to my doctor appointments, so this took two of us out of our way since I live in Tempe and having to drive all the way out to east Mesa. To reschedule the appointment would have taken a half hour because there were so many people in line trying to do that also.I cannot tell you how many times I have waited in in their waiting room to be seen for 30-45 and even an hour to be seen in the past and then they cancel my appointment for being 2 minutes late is crazy. I left without rescheduling an appointment. This was ALL BS.They said I should have gotten to the appointment 20 minutes early, but NO ONE told me that when we made the appointment and when they called to confirm the day before they did not tell me that either.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience with a medical group. The support staff seems great, but the doctors (Cohen and Guld) treat patients like numbers and lack bedside manner. You will wait forever to see the doctors and then your appointments are rushed. Dr. Guld spent more time on her computer during my visit instead of interacting with me. She also seemed very annoyed by the questions that I asked. After my visit, I experienced a side effect to a new medication that she prescribed. It took her office THREE days to follow-up with me. Their response was to allow my primary doctor to manage my high blood pressure! What?! Dr. Guld is a cardiologist and I am obviously seeking her professional services for a reason! Highly unprofessional and lacks the aptitude to follow-up directly with a patient to address their immediate concerns. Instead, I received a call from an assistant who gave me false information and admitted she didn’t know much about my case. I will never return to this medical group again!

They don’t want to get involved in others business even if it means your were serious hurt by a cover-up, which I was. Also, If you like to deal with office Managers in their 40’s with massive hickies on their necks then this is the place to go. Unorganized, long wait times, poor communication, poor customer service; definitely make you feel like just one of the herd. Review №46

I have been to TriCity Cardiology twice and will be returning for further tests. I have been pleasantly and quickly surprised at how efficient, kind and caring the staff is. TriCity Baywood is located on the third floor of Banner Heart Hospital on Baywood which is next to/as part of the Banner Baywood Hospital on Power and Baywood. The first time you visit them they make sure to get all your information and clear all the administrative stuff out of the way so that the current and future visits are virtually without any further administrative stuff to concern you. This means that on your first visit you will see a check in person, then you will see a person who registers you in their systems related to their background medical info needs, your insurance information and current medication data. All this is streamlined and efficient but it is up front on on the first visit so it seems a bit different than other offices. But the point of it is that you can then have any further visits without literally any more discussions about insurance, data, etc. I found it to be an excellent approach, especially considering so many places ask you to fill out a complete medical history form virtually every time you visit, which is ridiculous.Once you are placed in a waiting room, the cardiologist will see you within 10 minutes, is my experience. The physicians are excellent, thoughtful and caring. I saw doctor Nguyen. She is excellent. She asked a lot of good questions and actually listened to what I was saying and understand about my heart and health. The second visit I had to do a heart stress test. The technician who helped with that was professional, courteous, and once again listened to how I was doing, what I felt about the level of difficulty of the test and adjusted to make sure she was getting her data, while I was being heard.Scheduling is also a very efficient process at TriCity. I had to schedule 4 things (an initial evaluation visit, two tests and a follow up results consult). The scheduling process is clear, well-thought out and efficient. They also give you clear and understandable instructions for each visit in a pre-written and customized sheet so you know how to prepare, where to be, where and with what info, if needed.I dont love going to doctors visits, but this office, their staff, and their procedures made my visits a very good, caring experience.
